Got Gas?

Wednesday, August 28th, 2013

Mary Ann moved here from Argentina, started a
family, and for the last ten years or so
everything was going just fine. She felt safer and
adapted to life in the USA like a duck does to
water, and it helped that she moved to Miami since
almost everyone speaks Spanish. Mary Ann is a
perfectionist in just about everything she does
and has been very successful with everything she
put her mind to.

When she came in my office she hemmed and hawed
before she even told me what was going on. She
looked very healthy, young and in her late
twenties, with a great looking smile, beautiful
long black hair, she turned heads when she
walked into the room.

We talked for a long time and she told me that she
stopped dating, going to parties, didn’t really do
much shopping, or even going out into public. Mary
Ann has been going to the gym for years and loved
to stay in shape, but something happened 4 or 5
months ago and she has stopped all public actives.

I scanned her energy fields to see if I could pick
up something that was out of balance in her energy
body- the meridians or chakras, but I wasn’t able
to pick up much more than an imbalance in the
digestive system. Mary Ann is a worrier and she
worries all the time. In the middle of our
conversation she uncontrollably started to cry and
then told me her story.

“A few months ago for no apparent reason I
started to get uncontrollable gas. It happens
every time I eat anything and it smelled so bad,
and it’s really embarrassing.”

This is a problem for any of us, but to a young
woman this is also a total embarrassment as well
as a possible health problem. According to the
National Institutes of Health, the average person
passes intestinal gas 14 times a day and produces
about 1 to 4 pints of the stuff.

The foods we eat can be a factor in the production
of gas. The carbohydrates in some foods are not
completely digested in the small intestine. When
these undigested sugars reach the colon, they are
fermented by the bacteria that normally live in
the colon. This fermentation often results in gas.
The most common source of undigested carbohydrate
is lactose, or milk sugar, which is found in dairy
products. Intestinal bacteria step in to aid the
process and this fermentation causes gas.
Another common source of gas is beans. Beans
contain a sugar that cannot be digested by the
human intestine. Besides beans and dairy products,
many fruits and vegetables are gas producers.
Certain colon bacteria are capable of digesting
these substances, producing hydrogen, methane, and
carbon dioxide in the process. Excessive gas is
the result.

What can you do to Reduce Excessive Gas?
• Eat slowly and don’t talk while eating.
Chew your food thoroughly, instead of gulping it
down.
• Increase your physical activity.
• Reduce your lactose products such milk
skim milk, and cottage cheese. Yogurt is usually
well tolerated by lactose- intolerant people.
• Avoid sorbitol and fructose. Sodas and
hard candies that contain sorbitol and fructose
sugars cause extra gas.
• Too much fiber will increase your gas,
especially if you increase the amount too quickly.
• Presoak dried beans and dispose of the
water. This helps remove the gas-causing starches.

The Chinese have an exercise that seems to work
great to eliminate embarrassing gasses.

images The system of Chinese nutrition is a
healing system that’s on its own. Not only is it a
healing system, but it is also a disease
prevention system. The great advantage of Chinese
medicine is it treats the whole person and not
just the disease. If you take a look at the
five-element chart, the elements are Fire, Earth,
Metal, Water and Wood. The metal element is what
rules the lungs and the large intestine. There is
a color for each element as well as a positive and
negative emotion. For example: the metal color is
white and the negative emotion is sadnes s and
grief, the positive is courageousness and valor.
When walking, we are moving energy in the body and
working the metal energy that works the lungs to
bring more blood and oxygen to our cells and the
large intestine that starts the peristaltic action
to move the toxins out of you body.

It’s been a few weeks now and she eliminated all
milk products, and beans. Mary Ann reports that
she walks at least 100 steps after every meal and
the tooting is just about gone. In fact, she came
to the beach with a few of her friends to learn
the other exercises to improve her digestion.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness.

How the Summer Solstice will affect your internal Energy

Friday, June 21st, 2013
Share

The summer solstice is almost upon us again. It is
the longest day and shortest night of the year,
from the moment of the start of Summer Solstice,
on June 21st. The Sun immediately begins to wane
and the days will get shorter. In the Five
element system we are moving into the images,
which rules the heart, pericardium, triple heater
and small intestine.

A TIME THAT YOU WANT TO STAY COOL.
In both body and mind.

I like a refreshing and tasty drink. I take cold
fresh Mint mixed with lemon juice, ice and a
little maple syrup as sweetener. It will help to
cool you down as things continue to heat up for
the next 3 months.

The formula:
¼ cup of washed fresh mint leaves
4 to 6 organic lemons
2 Quarts of filtered water
Maple syrup to taste

Squeeze the lemons, add juice to the water and
maple syrup, add ice and put in a blender with the
mint leaves and blend on high until smooth.

Midsummer has been one of the important solar
events throughout the evolution of humankind. It
was an indicator that the year was about to begin
waning, thus winter would be again returning. The
sun appeared to stand still in its northern
progression on the 21st

Whenever there is a change in the seasons and
especially on the winter and summer solstice it is
an opportunity to reset our internal clocks. It is
an excellent time to take a break from your usual
pace and allow oneself some quite time to reflect,
meditate or just relax.

Eat very light at these important junctions,
as it will help you move into the new system smoothly.

The Summer Solstice is the time to recharge your
spirit, building your personal power and fortify
your health.

This is an excellent time to detox the body mind
and spirit. I am doing the 7-day detox program
with a group of patients and students, called the
“Core restore program”.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html.

It’s easy to do, will benefit your liver, kidneys
and digestive system. “The Core Restore program”
will cool your body down, relax your mind and
you’ll lose a few pounds to boot.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

have fun!

Are you aging too fast?

images-1Every Wednesday night for the last 5 years I have
been teaching a meditation class and sharing the
teachings of Internal Qi Gong work as well as
incorporating mythology like the use of imagery,
ritual, and metaphor. When we exercise our will in
such a manner as to bring about changes in one’s
state of mind and body, we Subtle the Body through
the practices involving the use of imagination and
perception to open chakras, meridian channels, and
energy flows.

This rare work impacts our life in such a way that
we grow beyond our old patterns. We move outside
the norm and begin to experience life differently.
We gain purpose, mission and self-worth outside
our own limitations and the limitations of
society. We reach a form of so called insanity.
We actually become in-sane rather than out–of-
sane, our view of the world changes and so do we.

In today’s world the pace has quickened, the old
patterns of life no longer work. We are forced to
become a-new or struggle with habits and patterns
that no longer work.

Just yesterday I had a lady referred to my office
with a common cold. She was brought up in a system
that her belief structure (BS) led her to believe
she needed only two things, Pain pills and
antibodies.

She had a fever and wanted it gone and didn’t want
to deal with any of the discomforts. As we went
over her medical history she shared that she was a
smoker and has been smoking for 40 years and
wasn’t about to quit. She also complained of a bad
cough and a chronic sinus condition. But her (BS)
wouldn’t let her change.
Fortunately, her sister insisted that she open up
and try something new.

That’s how I came into the picture. I explained
that although the antibiotics may eliminate the
symptoms temporally, they were not a cure and she
was going to wipe out her digestive system. We
needed to build up her immune system and change
her biological terrain. I explained that if we
look at the body as a garden and the soil is not
balanced in our garden, we will only grow inferior
plants. To grow health plants we need to balance
the PH of the garden, feed the soil proper
nutrients, which give it water and stay away from
poisons. Our body is the same. We need the right
stuff to stay healthy, exercise, drink water, good
food and right thinking, and to be able to handle
our stresses.
This made sense to her and we treated her with all
natural medicine, teas, herbs, homeopathic
medicine, heat acupuncture and massage.
I called her this morning and guess what? To her
amazement she got better!
The smoking will be the next challenge. She has
been using cigarettes for years to ovoid
confronting her emotions. I’ll let you know how it
goes.

If you are going through some health challenges
yourself, let me know about them. There may be
ways to let go of your own Belief Structure (BS)
and renew yourself.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

PS. I have a group of serious students and
patients who are working hard to reverse their
aging bodies. They meet with me for an intensive
weekend of treatments, exercises and lifestyle
changes and we communicate via e-mail and Skype to
support the changes every month.
Are you ready to let go of your BS? Check out the private
coaching program

You will be glad you did! If you qualify for this
kind of program, you can reverse the aging process
in less than a year.

How the tooth fairy affects your health

Oh No! Another dentist appointment!
I’m on my way to the dentist this morning for my three
month maintenance. Every three months I get my teeth
cleaned and for good reasons. Did you know that
every tooth in our mouth is connected to an organ
in our body? You wouldn’t think so but if you are
having a problem with your digestion or you are
getting migraine headaches or a nagging backache;
a problem could lie in your mouth. The dentist
that I see is a biological dentist. He understands
the relationship between the teeth and the organs
and uses homeopathic medicine to treat along with his
traditional dental practice or he sends
his patients into my office to balance out the
imbalance in the body.
I tell all my students and patients that,

and start detoxing. If you have never done
a detox program, it is high time that you start
one now. I have found the Core Restore Detox
program to be one of the most effective and
easiest to do.

I have had hundreds of patients go through this
process with great success!
It cleans the digestive system, makes your skin
look younger, lose weight and your energy goes up!

You can order your program today and it will be in
the mail tomorrow!

How to stay Slim during the Holidays!

How to stay Slim during the Holidays!

I was sure that the Thanksgiving holiday was going
to be an incredible amount of fun! Seeing family,
eating, and relaxing… then the reality hit,
everybody wanted to add their 2 cents: “Who’s
gonna make the turkey? I don’t like this cranberry
sauce, I like that cranberry sauce! I don’t like
this can of sweet potatoes or pumpkin pie; I want
an apple pie and a pecan pie!

I thought my relatives have totally flipped out on
this day of thankfulness, but it’s in the
collective consciousness… everyone that I’ve
talked to seems to have the same issue. Turkey
wars, pumpkin pie with whipped cream or not, it
seems like everybody forgot to be thankful and
it’s all about the food. It’s incredible! I heard
this from my patients, my secretary and my
friends! Everybody is going through family stress,
and it’s supposed to be a holiday of being
thankful.
Hasn’t anybody figured that out yet?!
We’re supposed to be thankful that we even have a
turkey to eat, or a piece of pumpkin pie, but no…
it’s seems like it’s going to be the Great
American Eat again!

Sounds a little negative doesn’t it? A little bit
of darkness, let’s see how we can shine a light on
this and bring back the joy of the holiday season
where we can be grateful, thankful and loving to
each other – where we can open up our hearts.

We have to look at food as an energy source for
the human body, the process of breaking down food
and converting it into a form that we can absorb
into our system. To ensure your body properly
digests and absorbs the needed nutrients found in
the foods we eat, one must keep the digestive
system healthy and clean. By following a
well-balanced diet, eating a small meal regularly,
reducing the amount of refined fats and refined
sugars, and drinking plenty of fluids between
meals, one can keep their digestive system on
track.

Now we all know, during the holiday season, we all
like to eat and drink and we are definitely going
to be fasting or cutting down on what we eat at
this time of the year! But don’t worry, there is
still hope! The key is exercise.

Here are some simple steps to follow:

1.After ever meal go for a walk at least 100
steps. This will get your digestive juices moving
and help to curve some of those extra calories.

2. Have a cup of mint tea. It helps the digestive
system and settles the stomach.

3.Have a glass of water before the BIG EAT. This
will fill you up a little and you won’t over stuff
yourself like we are doing to the turkey.

4.Believe it or not, a cup of coffee without
sweetener is great to have in the morning. It
speeds up your metabolism and helps you lose
weight.

5. Fiber! You want fiber in your diet to make sure
that everything is moving properly.

6. Laughter!! This is one of the keys to
longevity. It gets all of your organs moving,
especially your abdominal muscles, gets your heart
pumping and it allows your digestive system to
work more efficiently.

The exercise that I focus on when I have so much
to do and there are so many family obligations and
my time is limited, I ALWAYS to the Yin set. It
increases the flow of Qi in the body. The lungs,
heart, kidneys, spleen, liver – these are the 5
Yin organs. When you do the Yin set, it activates
all of the 5 Yin organs which activate the 5 Yang
organs. They’re easy to do, they are fun and you
can have your whole family do them!

You can download them right on your computer:

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Detoxify for the Fall season!

I have a good friend who has been involved in
the military for years. He fought in the Korean War
when Douglas MacArthurthe was the president.
He actually did battle on the
front line to defend our country and has the
battle scars to prove it.

He has been retired from active duty for years now
and seldom talks about his war experiences, but
whenever he does he says it was heavy.

He has been seeing a doctor at the Veterans
administration (VA ) for his health care and up
until the last year everything has been OK– just
the usual aches and pains but nothing else.
But as time goes on unless you are actively
involved in keeping your body, mind and spirit in
tip top shape systems can fail.

Last week he went to the VA for a problem that he
was having with his digestive system, the dreaded
constipation syndrome that led to a painful
hemorrhoid.
It seems that he wasn’t moving his bowls for 4 or
5 days in a roll. You can imagine
the toxins that back-up, ferment and rot when
there is no release. It affects the liver and
causes problems with the kidneys and even the
brain is effected.
In his
unfocused state he plowed into a can in the
parking lot of the VA. He not only totaled his
car, the air bag opened with an explosion crushed
his chest, fractured his hand and sprained his
neck. He lost his hearing in the left ear and
broke his new glasses.
What a mess!
All of this could have been avoided if only he had
followed the simple rules of detoxing the body.
1. Drink a minimum of 4 glasses of pure water
a day and not more that 8
2. Eat 2 heaps of fruit a day and the same
with veggies
3. Exercise daily it helps massage your
internal organs and keeps the Qi and blood moving
4. Don’t wait for the pain to come before you
do something about your health
5. Detox at least 4 times a year

I have been keeping my body and mind in great
shape by doing exercises that keep my internal
organs healthy to balance my Ph and detoxing my
body every season change.

As we move into fall the detox, it is more
important than ever to keep you healthy all
winter. You can avoid the cold and flu season and
stay fit as a fiddle!

How to Stay Healthy all Fall and Winter

Monday, September 17th, 2012
Share

It won’t be long before we get deluged
again with reports and appeals by federal
offices and other institutions concerned with
public health. They are going to frighten us with
the threatening flu season, which they claim we are
facing and will advertize that this year’s seasonal
flu vaccine will protect us. Honestly, how many
people do you know get vaccinated against the flu?

And get sick with worse symptoms then they ever had.
I know many people who told me they would never expose
themselves to it again after having suffered from
profuse influenza after vaccination!

I have a completely different approach to this issue,
and one that is promising and well-tolerated.
We all know if our immune system is working well we just don’t get sick.
The question is which preventive measures should be taken
in order to reduce our exposure to potential health hazards?

• Are there ways to enhance the early detection of these hazards?
• What measures can be taken to improve the immune system in order to circumvent a potential illness?
• Now is the time to prepare your immune system to avoid colds and flu’s this Winter.

For one I do not recommend the annual influenza immunization.
For two good reasons:
1. The vaccine contains only one strain of an
attenuated virus and the vaccine contains often a
heavy metal stabilizer typically
thimersol which contains mercery.

2. The vaccines over the years
have the wrong viral strain most of the time, and hence,
no protection was offered. How would the drug company know what
flu is coming next year anyway? Answer they don’t it’s a shot in the dark .
Consequentially, the question has been raised as to
whether the injected material had itself lowered the
recipient’s immune defense, and led then to an increased
susceptibility to contracting the flu.
The traditional flu vaccination does not
provide any protection against viruses
that cause most common colds.but it’s a million
dollar business and they are going to sell , sell
sell. and it’s not for your health…

As an alternative I can provide you and your family with
the most advanced immune builders that are used by the most
precious Health Clinics in Europe. I have been working with
the most advanced clinics in Europe that has created an
immune stimulant which provides good protective coverage
from viruses and is free from any adverse side effects.

Is your Energy Flowing or Not?

Monday, August 6th, 2012
Share

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm, I teach a
meditation class in my office.
It’s based on Internal exercises practices
They are the
opposite of external exercises like swimming,
boxing, wrestling, tennis, weight lifting, etc.
While external exercises may produce an attractive
body, they often do so by depleting the energy of
the heart, spleen, lungs, kidneys and liver. That
causes a number of illnesses and ages you quicker
than you would think. Internal exercises like Qi
Gong are designed to energize the entire body,
balance all of the energy levels and heal as well
as strengthen our internal organs. Internal organs
are designed to correct posture, keep you more
grounded and are based on the five element theory;
fire, earth, metal, water and wood.

One thing that I always emphasize and work on in
the meditation classes is the breathing and the
pathways of energy in the body known as the
meridians. Once a person gets proficient in the
micro cosmic orbit (the spiritual digestive
system)– they’ll easily be able to feel the
energy in the meridians and along the pathways to
balance the body, mind and spirit. When I do an
acupuncture treatment, I am always working with
the meridians, they are like a series of energy
rivers running through the body. There is one for
the lungs, large intestines, stomach, spleen,
heart, small intestines, bladder, kidneys,
pericardium, triple heater, liver and gallbladder
– plus more.

These rivers of energy carry the Qi or energy all
through our bodies. If there is a blockage
mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually or
psychologically, the rivers of energy get blocked
and the next thing you know you have some form of
dis-ease.

When we work with the Qi Gong exercises,
meditations and breathing, we open up those
blockages and the Qi flows properly, balancing
body, mind and spirit.

Personally I practice these types of exercises
daily. I teach my patients and students these
exercises. I make videos about them like the
Flying Crane Qi Gong and Recharging Qi Gong and
much more to the Qi Gong Inner Circle.

It’s Time to Awaken the Energy

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

My friend Diana came to Miami
with her daughter this past weekend.
I have known her and her family for over 30 years.

When I first went to Caracas, Venezuela
in 1978 it was a tropical paradise.
There were people walking everywhere with
smiles on their face, the cafés on the
streets were full and the economy was booming.
To me being in Caracas at that time was like
being in a dream, there was always magic in the air.

The parks were filled with well-groomed exotic
lush tropical plants from all over the world, the
museums had wonderful paintings and sculptures
with vibrant colors and the parties, weddings
and festivals were all elegant.

I came to Venezuela to see patients and
study with my Meditation Master.
We started our days with meditation, exercise
and a good breakfast before seeing patients.
After another long day and after a short break
for dinner the real magic began.
“The Opening of the Way”!

Working with a Master who is in tune, open and
is willing to share his knowledge is rare and a
privilege only a few get to experience.

When most people think of meditation they imagine
sitting with their eyes closed contemplating their navel.
The studies were far from that. In fact we worked the
spiritual digestive system to the maximum. When they say
spiritual work, they mean work.

We focused on teachings from the
Tibetan Buddhism and the Shaivism, one
of the three branches of Hinduism as well as
the western teachings of alchemy, the kabala and
esoteric Christianity and of course the
Chinese Taoism longevity practices.

The classes would go until the wee hours
of the morning! We would do breathing practices,
expand our energy, open our hearts, increase
awareness as well as learn how to extract
Nourishment from the universe and unconditional love.

“The Awakened Energy
feeds the Spirit within.”
-The Lama on the mountain

These practices were focused on longevity and
anti aging, which opened up the spiritual
channels revealing what’s really behind the cosmic curtain.

I traveled back and forth to Caracas every 4
months for years until I permanently moved
there in 1987 to run the Ashram and share the teachings.

I am still teaching and coaching now in Miami Beach.
Every Wednesday night at my office I share these
valuable teaching with students and some patients on
how to stay grounded, open and how to develop their
spiritual digestive system as well as Practices like
the Taoist Sexual longevity practices.

Yes SEX can either keep you healthy or kill you.

“Whole- Lee work” – is knowing about your 9 holes
and how to use them. Your speech, your hearing, your
digestive system, what you see, smell and of course your
sexual energy. For those of you who live in other parts
of the USA or are on the other side of the world,
I have a few opportunities for you!

We can set up a date for some private coaching in Miami!
Call Anastasia at 305-407-0120 and we can set up a
phone consultation or if you can’t travel we can
touch base on Skype.

If you didn’t know it I record these teachings and
send the members of the Qi Gong Inner circle a DVD
every month on practices, meditations, exercises
and much more on how to make you more powerful in every aspect.

Get ready! Changes are in motion for all of us.
Stay grounded, centered and focused.

Captured at Sea by a Teenager

Monday, February 20th, 2012

Sunday night my granddaughter flew
into Miami to spend a week with me!
As most of you know, I have 2 boys and
I also have a brother. There are no girls in
the family at all! BUT, next week I have my
very own teenager coming to stay with me.

Let me tell you a little bit about her.

Last Thanksgiving, I flew into Detroit to
see my family. I stopped at Whole Foods and
bought organic everything-Turkey with all of
the trimmings, cranberry sauce, vegetables, salads,
and pies. The food was great but a bit expensive!

We all sat down to have a beautiful dinner
and my teenage granddaughter only ate the
mashed potatoes and the rolls and maybe a little
bit of the dessert. To me, she is a junk food
eater and now she is coming to visit me for a week
in Florida. I was moderately freaking out thinking it
was going to be a week of donuts, candy bars,
fried food and other stuff that I hate buying for anyone!

So I solved the problem by taking a 4
day cruise to the Caribbean!
She can eat whatever she wants, play
with other kids and she only has to unpack one time.

This is going to be great! So with my computer in
hand and a host of meditations and exercises,
I am off to sea this week to do some incredible
meditations in the darkness of the night.

The New Moon is on the 21st of February and it
will be pitch black out at sea.
I’ll be sharing the meditation that I am doing with
the members of the Qi Gong Inner Circle and how
they can use this type of work to build their spiritual
digestive system, ground their energy, and open up
to the darkness of the new moon.

If you’re not a member yet, what are you waiting for?

These teachings are not available to just anyone.
ONLY to the members of the QI Gong Inner circle!
