How the Summer Solstice will affect your internal Energy

The summer solstice is almost upon us again. It is
the longest day and shortest night of the year,
from the moment of the start of Summer Solstice,
on June 21st. The Sun immediately begins to wane
and the days will get shorter. In the Five
element system we are moving into the images,
which rules the heart, pericardium, triple heater
and small intestine.

A TIME THAT YOU WANT TO STAY COOL.
In both body and mind.

I like a refreshing and tasty drink. I take cold
fresh Mint mixed with lemon juice, ice and a
little maple syrup as sweetener. It will help to
cool you down as things continue to heat up for
the next 3 months.

The formula:
¼ cup of washed fresh mint leaves
4 to 6 organic lemons
2 Quarts of filtered water
Maple syrup to taste

Squeeze the lemons, add juice to the water and
maple syrup, add ice and put in a blender with the
mint leaves and blend on high until smooth.

Midsummer has been one of the important solar
events throughout the evolution of humankind. It
was an indicator that the year was about to begin
waning, thus winter would be again returning. The
sun appeared to stand still in its northern
progression on the 21st

Whenever there is a change in the seasons and
especially on the winter and summer solstice it is
an opportunity to reset our internal clocks. It is
an excellent time to take a break from your usual
pace and allow oneself some quite time to reflect,
meditate or just relax.

Eat very light at these important junctions,
as it will help you move into the new system smoothly.

The Summer Solstice is the time to recharge your
spirit, building your personal power and fortify
your health.

This is an excellent time to detox the body mind
and spirit. I am doing the 7-day detox program
with a group of patients and students, called the
“Core restore program”.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html.

It’s easy to do, will benefit your liver, kidneys
and digestive system. “The Core Restore program”
will cool your body down, relax your mind and
you’ll lose a few pounds to boot.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

The Most Powerful Day of the Year

Friday, June 22nd, 2012

The summer Solstice happened a few
days ago, the longest day of the year.
There is now an abundant amount of energy
and lots of sunshine!

It’s in the nineties in South Florida
and that’s why I start my training at
5:30 in the morning. It’s still cool at
that time and there is a nice breeze
coming from the ocean. Summer is about
growth, creativity, expansion and staying active.

This is the time when our bodies go
through maximum activities, so expect
lots of heat inside and out.
To stay healthy this summer, keep your
priorities in maintaining your heart, mind
and spirit in top shape, which are all part
of the fire element.

If the heart is in harmony, the taste buds in
our tongue work efficiently. It’s important to
have tongue cleaning as part of your hygiene
regiment, if you aren’t doing tongue scraping
start today.

You may be asking yourself what’s
The Purpose of Tongue Cleaning?

By removing the soft plaque from the tongue
you are
removing most of the bacteria and other
garbage which is the primary source of bad breath,
hard plaque (tartar) and tooth decay. You can pick
up a tongue scraper at the health
 food store or a
spoon will work just fine.

“The supernatural forces of summer create heat
in the Heavens and fire on Earth; they create the
heart and the pulse within the body, the red color,
the tongue, and the ability to express laughter.
They create the bitter flavor and the emotions of
happiness and joy.”

THE YELLOW EMPEROR’S CLASSIC OF INTERNAL MEDICINE

The Summer Solstice is when the sun reaches
its highest point, the day with the greatest
number of daylight hours
 and the shortest
night of the year. Soon after, the days will
get shorter.

In Chinese medicine, summer is associated
with the Fire element and with heat.
The heart is the fire element of the body
and if there is too much heat in the heart,
the heat will rise and eventually disrupt the mind.
To have a balanced mind, do more Yin type
exercises
like the Qi Gong Yin Set.

These exercises will keep you cool all
summer and benefit the heart.

When the change of the season happens,
especially during
 the winter and summer
solstice, this is an opportunity to reset
your internal clock. The summer solstice is
called the
 Midsummer because it’s around the
middle of the growing season, a period of
abundant growth. So wake up early and seek
the sun for nourishment to thrive just as
the plants and trees do.

I’m staying quite busy these days, working,
writing and training every day early morning.
I’ll have some more exciting programs in the
next 30 days, keep an eye out for them.

The Best Foods for the Summer

The seasons are about to change again.
The summer solstice is upon us. It’s a time to
start eating more fruits and vegetables. One of
my favorite drinks in the summer is to take a
watermelon, cut it up and put it in the blender,
seeds and all. Then I strain it and drink it down.

It’s refreshing and cooling!

I’ve had many students ask me what type of
exercises they should be doing for the summer.
What I suggest, if you’re new and you really want
to start a great program, get the bundle packages.
You can download it right on your computer so that
you’ll get it instantly and start the program on
the first day of summer and keep it up until fall.

It will do a few things:
-Keep your healthy
-Build your immune system
-Start to change you from the inside out

Most of the exercises that we have learned in
school, like lifting weights, jumping jacks,
jogging- work well to keep your external body
looking good but they don’t really work on your health.
The internal exercises like Qi Gong are the exercises
that will give you a longer life and perfect health.

Here is how you order:

Build Strong Yin Qi All Summer

Thursday, June 16th, 2011

The first day of summer
is just about here!

The Summer Solstice
This is the longest day of the year.
Summer begins in the Northern Hemisphere
on June 21, 2011, at 1:16 p.m.

The word solstice comes from the
Latin words for “SUN” & “TO STOP,”
as the Sun appears to stop in the sky.

This is one of the most important days
of the year for Energy Work.

Like Meditation,Qi Gong and Yoga practices,
the Energy is at its highest.

In fact, if you are thinking of getting an
Acupuncture treatment, a Medical Qi Gong
treatment or any kind of Energy Work,
the Summer and Winter Solstices
(June 21 and December 21)
are the strongest days to move the Qi.

My calendar gets totally booked up a few
days before the solstice, the day of the solstice
and the week after. It seems like everyone who
knows anything about Energy work is at my office that
week to get a treatment and for good reason a treatment
done at the Solstice can last up to three months.

The six weeks leading up to and directly
after the summer solstice is ruled by the
Fire element. This is the season for a lot of fun.
The Fire Element relates to communication
and community. It’s the time when people
travel, have family reunions, plan June
weddings and spend lots of time outside
having FUN.

The Qi is moving better than
ever and we usually feel great.

As for diet:
It’s better to eat light, more fruits and
vegetables, to keep the body from over heating.
and drink lots of H2O

My Qi Gong practices are focused more on the
Yin element,as the days get hotter.
This helps to cool the body down and quit
the mind.
In China, the summer solstice was observed
by a ceremony to celebrate the earth, femininity,
and the “Yin” forces.

I’ll increase my practice of Flying Crane Qi Gong
for the next few months to build more Yin and stay cool
If you don’t know this style get this
one today it’s great.

I am spending more time on the automatic move
and the Yin set from the Recharging Qi Gong Program

http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html

They both increase the Yin quality and
keep the heart in balance, the mind
calm and the body cool.

I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness
