Reminder and Equinox details

Qi Gong on the Beach is at a new time 8:00 am on
Saturday morning.

This change was due to it getting darker and the
images. For the rest of you not in Miami
here’s some important information for your Qi Gong
practice.

The fall Equinox is September 22nd and it’s the
time that we change seasons again. It is one of
the 4 best weeks of the year to detox your body.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html

The Autumnal Equinox signals the end of the summer
months and the beginning of fall. It’s the point
where nights reach the same length as days. After
this point, the Sun will shine lower and lower on
the horizon until the Winter Solstice in about
three months’ time.

I always take the time to reset my system both
internal and external at this time.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html
The weather is cooler even in Florida, now is the
time to harvest the bounty that grew during the
summer so we can store up for the cold winter
ahead.

It is a time to organize, work hard, and finish
projects that you began in spring and summer.
In Ancient China, physicians observed the natural
cycles of the seasons and prescribed the best Qi
Gong exercises for staying healthy and harmonizing
our energy with that of our environment.

Fall is the season associated with grief and
sadness. It is important to keep the mind clear
and “let go” of negative emotions that impact our
health more strongly during the fall. The organs
most affected are the lungs and the large
intestine, that’s why I highly suggest doing the
fall detox program

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html

If you haven’t learned the Tension Release
Exercises I teach, now’s a great time to do so.
?Go tohttp://rechargingqigong.com and when
you buy the Recharging Qi Gong course I will also
send you a 21 page booklet full of great exercises
to practice every day.

This is the time to gather one’s spirit and
energy, be more focused, and keep your desires in
check. This means practicing breathing exercises
to enhance lung Qi. Maybe do a few extra reps of
the Lung exercise from the Yin set; these are the
exercises in the back of the book.

Also, one should refrain from smoking and avoid
sadness and grief, the negative emotions of lung.
This will prevent kidney or digestive problems in
the winter.

Wishing you Health, Wealth, and Happiness

How the Summer Solstice will affect your internal Energy

Friday, June 21st, 2013
Share

The summer solstice is almost upon us again. It is
the longest day and shortest night of the year,
from the moment of the start of Summer Solstice,
on June 21st. The Sun immediately begins to wane
and the days will get shorter. In the Five
element system we are moving into the images,
which rules the heart, pericardium, triple heater
and small intestine.

A TIME THAT YOU WANT TO STAY COOL.
In both body and mind.

I like a refreshing and tasty drink. I take cold
fresh Mint mixed with lemon juice, ice and a
little maple syrup as sweetener. It will help to
cool you down as things continue to heat up for
the next 3 months.

The formula:
¼ cup of washed fresh mint leaves
4 to 6 organic lemons
2 Quarts of filtered water
Maple syrup to taste

Squeeze the lemons, add juice to the water and
maple syrup, add ice and put in a blender with the
mint leaves and blend on high until smooth.

Midsummer has been one of the important solar
events throughout the evolution of humankind. It
was an indicator that the year was about to begin
waning, thus winter would be again returning. The
sun appeared to stand still in its northern
progression on the 21st

Whenever there is a change in the seasons and
especially on the winter and summer solstice it is
an opportunity to reset our internal clocks. It is
an excellent time to take a break from your usual
pace and allow oneself some quite time to reflect,
meditate or just relax.

Eat very light at these important junctions,
as it will help you move into the new system smoothly.

The Summer Solstice is the time to recharge your
spirit, building your personal power and fortify
your health.

This is an excellent time to detox the body mind
and spirit. I am doing the 7-day detox program
with a group of patients and students, called the
“Core restore program”.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html.

It’s easy to do, will benefit your liver, kidneys
and digestive system. “The Core Restore program”
will cool your body down, relax your mind and
you’ll lose a few pounds to boot.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

The Grand Move on the Winter Solstice Day!

Monday, December 24th, 2012
Share

For the last 5 years, I’ve been working in an
office with a group of doctors and I’ve been in
the same room number 213 for all that time! On the
solstice, December 21st I decided to finally make
an . Now, sometimes it’s hard to
make an energetic shift when you work with a group
of doctors but I made that shift 12.21.12! I moved
into a larger room with a better number, 212.
First of all, I cleaned everything out of the
room, I put down the crystals to change the
energy, I lit the incents to feed all of the stale
energy and spirits that may be lingering in that
room from other patients. I took my bell and dorgi
and changed the total vibration in the room. I
placed the energetic crystals in every corner and
did the rice blessing to bring in prosperity that
I may be of service to more patients and bring
them better health.

Whenever one makes a move into a new space no
matter if it’s a house or an apartment or even a
room, the importance of the purification is most
important to ones health and well-being. I know a
young couple who moved into their apartment and
made no changes at all. All they did was sweep the
floor. They had no idea that the person who lived
there before was an alcoholic and abusive to his
wife. When he left the apartment, he left a stale
energy. It’s not something that you could see but
when you walked into their apartment, it had a
dingy feeling, almost like it wasn’t clean. It
wasn’t that they didn’t wash anything, dust and
sweep, it’s just that they didn’t clean it
energetically. It’s the same with our exercises.
If you had been going to the gym and jogging and
sticking with that pattern for years, and you’re
starting to get aches and pains and stale energy
inside, it’s time to make a shift and cleanse
yourself from the inside out. I created the
Recharging Qi Gong for just this reason. To make a
shift in your energy. It doesn’t mean that you
have to leave your exercise routine. There is a
saying that if you do physical exercises, you must
do energetic exercises, but if you do energetic
exercises, it’s not necessary to do the physical
exercises. The Recharging Qi Gong Program consists
of a book that explains each exercise, what it’s
for and how to use it to your advantage. It also
come with an instruction DVD and a practice DVD
plus 5 CD’s that explains everything about
energetic work, Qi Gong, internal energy, sexual
practices plus much more. If you have the program,
start practicing daily! But if for some reason you
don’t have the Recharging Qi Gong program, order
today!

Going Beyond Your Comfort Zone

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

I went to sleep last night early, around 10:00 pm.
I try to go to sleep earlier in the winter because
as we get closer to the winter solstice, sleep is
the best course to keep yourself healthy and to
align yourself with the season.

I was in a deep dream state and I heard a
crunching noise, my focus shifted to my hearing,
what could this be? Maybe my dreams were slipping
into a realm that I really didn’t want to be in.
All my senses went on high alert. I was lucid
enough to try to move into another state of
consciousness in the dream, but the crunching kept
going on and on. It was loud enough to wake me up
and when I was fully awake, I still heard the
crunching.

I got out of bed and walked into the kitchen where
the sound seemed to be coming from but nothing was
there. I got a flashlight and opened the back door
and to my amazement there was a very large possum
crunching on the bones of a furry animal. Oh My!
My bright light didn’t seem to disturb his meal
very much at all, he looked at me and went right
back to his eating. Opossums are not picky eaters
and will consume almost anything, including table
scraps and carrion. They do seem to have a
particular fondness for cat food, and I feed my
two cats “Yin & Yang” the tinned varieties. Mr.
Opossum seems to love cat food. Opossums just like
to eat everything. They have a diet consisting of
meat, rodents, insects, frogs, and plants
including fruit and grain.

This critter looked enormous to me! He was bigger
than both of my guard Cats and he was well fed.
Not someone I wanted to mess with for sure. So I
just said “bon appetite” and went back to bed.
In the morning there wasn’t a trace of Mr. Opossum
or what he was munching on. Last year around this
time I caught 4 or 5 Opossums in a trap and
relocated them a few miles away but as I learned
more about these Ratty looking creatures they
always come back to their hood. Even when taken
miles away.

Like many humans we feel more comfortable in a
certain space and return to it no matter if it’s
our neighborhood, our social standing, our job or
relationship. We go back to our comfort zone.
If you want to break out of your ghetto, your
position in life or your dysfunctional
relationship you must make some changes
internally. What you do on a daily basis, who you
associate with and even what you eat and where you
eat it can free you or keep you stuck like glue.
Over the last 3 decades or more I have been
working to pull myself out of the muck and to stay
on top of my game. Yea, it’s work to be on top,
feel good, be happy, healthy and wealthy. That’s
why I do it! I want the best for myself and
everyone who is around me.

I teach, I heal and train to be positive strong
and healthy. We all want to feel good, be
successful and have a happy life.

Don’t wait to be healthy, happy or wealthy, join
me and the members of the Qi Gong Inner Circle
today and make this holiday season the beginning
of having everything you want for yourself and
your family.

Why is Black Friday black?

Monday, November 26th, 2012

No one really knows why black Friday is black.
Maybe it’s because all of the stores open early
before the sun comes up and close after the sun
goes down and the days are getting shorter. Soon
it will be the winter solstice, December 21st, the
shortest day of the year, so there will be a lot
more blackness. Nobody really consulted me about
the name, the day after Thanksgiving but if they
did I would call it, ‘THE THANKFUL SALE!’

I would
make this the season all about thankfulness!

Is life Hitting you in the Schnozzle?

Friday, September 28th, 2012
Share

One never knows what can happen from one moment to
the next, we plan our next move and then the
universe does what it wants and we either freak
out or go with the flow. Imagine for a moment that
something is flying at your nose at 100 miles an
hour. If you meet that force with your nose it’s
going to hurt. But if you move just slightly the
object will miss you and although it could have
landed on your noodle it didn’t.
Some people go through life face first; they are
always getting hit with whatever the universe
flings at them.
When I was in my twenties I spent a lot of time
practicing Aikido, a that
teaches how to use energy. The motion of the
attacker is redirected rather than opposing it.
Aikido training is mental as well as physical,
emphasizing the ability to relax the mind and body
even under the stress of dangerous situations.
That’s where I learned to redirect energy and not
oppose it.
If you are a Steven Seagal movie fan, Aikido is
his main fighting form.
If a force is coming at you it’s a form of energy
(Qi) there is no bad or good to it. Just pure
energy and when you learn to direct the force no
matter if it’s a punch or a verbal attack it can
be redirected to your advantage.
I grow an organic garden every year and harvest
tomatos, radishes, 3 or 4 different kinds of
greens, lettuce, plus a lot more food.
I live in Florida so my gardening usually gets
going around the winter solstice and goes strong
until late May.

If there is no rain, the soil dries out and there
are a ton of bugs that love to munch on my organic
garden and this is bad. But if you come to Florida
during the winter and you live in the north you
surely don’t want rain. You are hoping for sunny
beach days. So the dry warm weather is good. See
there’s really no good or bad it just is……..

There is always good to be found in everything.
You just have to stay on top of things so you can
know where, when and how.

I have been training and practicing internal
exercises, meditation and working on my health for
years and it has paid off big time.
People my age are on a slew of medicines from
anti- depression to sleeping pills. They are
taking medicine to take a dump, regulate their
blood pressure, control their cholesterol and make
their weenie hard.

I haven’t taken any of that stuff and I am healthy
and strong. I exercise everyday and have a smile
on my face a bounce in my step and so do my
students and patients.

That’s how it’s supposed to be.

If you are stuck in the drug cultures, seeing one
doctor after another and sick and tired of being
there, lets work together to get healthy strong
and happy.

There are a few ways you can get started.

Celebrating Winter solstice

Wednesday, January 4th, 2012

Dear Test,

“(In winter) people should retire early at
night and rise late in the morning
and they should wait for the rising of the sun.”
-NEI CHING

Celebrating Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice has been celebrated in culture
all over the world for over thousands of years.
This start of the solar year is a celebration
of Light and the rebirth of the Sun.

This year, Thursday, December 22nd as the
sun enters Capricorn marks the Winter Solstice-
the beginning of winter in the Northern Hemisphere
and summer in the Southern Hemisphere and
the day of the longest night.

The term solstice means “sun stands still”;
it appears to remain in one place north or
south of the equator from one day to the next.

This is one of the strongest days of the year
to make changes in our lives.
There will be more and more light from then on.

As we shift in the seasons we also have a great
shift in our body and mind.
We will be open to both good and bad energies.

During the winter, the yin principle dominates
our bodies, as well as the climate.

The earth is in her resting and quiet season,
so like nature, it’s a good time to rest your self.
Reflect and be aware of your senses, conserve your
energy, seek inner warmth and spend more time at
home with family and friends.

It’s a time to nourish the body, relax, quiet the
body down, and sleep more.
It’s not a very good time to do have exercises
because you might burn yourself out,
but you still have to stay active in order to
keep your body warm and the energy moving.

Winter is more an inward and sensitive time.
As the cold climate chill you to your bones,
seek deeper within yourself. Like the earth,
we all have our cycles.
Many of us have cycles in which held-in
emotions are released, like the winter snows.
With awareness and expression of these feelings,
you will be able to open to good energies.
Staying healthy is also the key this winter season.

The Flu Season is also upon us at this time!
Why is it that some of us catch several colds
a year?
The answer lies in our immune system.
If our immune systems are weakened,
we will have a tendency to get sick more often.
In the winter months this seems to happen more
because of STRESS, POOR DIET, CHANGE IN WEATHER
and just getting RUN DOWN.
The best treatment for colds and the flu is to
prevent them from occurring in the first place by
keeping your immune system strong.

Now is the time to come in to boost your
immune system. Energy boosting treatments to
prevent the flu and cold will help keep you
healthy throughout the season.
This alternative flu and cold prevention system
is safe & effective for all ages.
Even if you have a cold now it will speed
up your recovery by days.
Schedule an appointment today to stay healthy this winter.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness

Fall Equinox Energy

Wednesday, September 21st, 2011
Share

Fall Equinox occurs at 09:04 am September 23, 2011
in the northern hemisphere, as well as the spring
or vernal equinox in the southern hemisphere.
A Greek astronomer and mathematician Hipparchus
was attributed to have discovered the equinoxes.

The word “equinox” derives from the
Latin words meaning “equal night” and
refers to the time when the sun crosses
the equator. The first day of autumn is the
time when things begin to decrease. It’s the
time to prepare for winter, tree leaves turn
colors, and the air takes on a chill. Most
cultures consider this a time for harvesting
crops and taking stock of life’s fragility. It is
also a time when people begin noticing the
waning hours of daylight in anticipation for
the Winter Solstice. Since this time of year
is one of the most temperate, it is also
considered a good time for reflection
on the meaning of life.

In every culture the Autumnal Equinox
signals the return of weather that favors
slowing down, introspection, and conservation.
It is also a perfect day to contemplate your own
thoughts on the meaning of life and share
them with fellow freethinkers.

I’ll be in Michigan for the changing of the seasons.
It’s one of my favorite times of the year as
it finally starts to cool down in South Florida,
and the windy hurricane season is just about over.
I always do some kind of ritual when the seasons
change and this is no exception. My son lives
on a beautiful piece of property on the lake
with his wife and two children. I called him
today and asked him to cut and stack wood
for the harmonizing fire Puja on the Equinox.

You may be asking yourself right now,
“Doc, what is a Puja?”
A Puji fire is a ritual fire to harmonize the
elements. Sometimes Puji’s are made to
increase the energy or to decrease it. This
particular Puja will be to balance and
protect the family through the winter season.
It’s a festive time and the neighbors usually
gather around, as well as my family to bring
in the fall season and to balance
their body, mind, and spirit.

Fall is the season of harvest, a time to pull
inward and gather together on all levels, a
time to store up fuel, food and warm clothing,
a time to study and plan for the approaching
stillness of winter. Everything in nature
contracts and moves its essence inward
and downward.

“The forces of autumn create dryness in
Heaven and metal on Earth; they create
the lung organ and the skin upon the
body…and the nose, and the white
color, and the pungent flavor…the
emotion grief, and the ability to make
a weeping sound.”
-Inner Classic

Fall is related to the Metal Element,
lungs and large intestines. The foods that
are most harmonious to this season include:
sourdough bread, sauerkraut, olives, pickles,
leeks, aduki beans, salt plums, rose hip tea,
vinegar, lemons, limes, grapefruit, and the
sour varieties of apples, plums, and grapes.

It’s a good time to focus mentally, and to
begin the process of contraction. In general,
cook with less water, and at lower heat, for
longer periods of time. This internalizes one’s
focus. Likewise, the bitter and salty flavors
move energy strongly inward and downward;
ideally, they are gradually introduced as the
fall progresses into winter.

The major symptoms of autumn are thirst,
dryness of the skin, nose, lips, and throat,
and itchiness; those who are chronologically
dry also tend to have a thin body type. This
season usually brings in the cold and flu season,
it’s an important time to start building
our immune system and strengthening
your kidneys for the winter.

To treat conditions of dryness in the body
in any season, foods which moisten can be
emphasized: soybean products, including
tofu, and soy milk; spinach, barley, millet,
pear, apple, persimmon, loquat, seaweeds,
black and white fungus, almond, pinenut,
sesame seed, honey (cooked), barley malt,
rice syrup, eggs, clam, crab, oyster, mussel,
and herring. Using a little salt in cooking
also moistens dryness.

The emotions of the metal element have to
do with sadness and grief on the negative side.
On the positive side, it has to do with moving
forward, valor, and courageousness.
Because the fall is when we start to go inward
this is the time to increase our meditation
practices and begin more internal practices.

Sometimes, our minds jump around like
a monkey from branch to branch, and
when we are trying to do our mediations,
we are pulled from one thought to another.
When this happens, I begin doing a mantra,
like the one in “The Internal Mantra Program.”

This program is a 3 fold:
1. A DVD explaining all about Mantra,
how to use it, and what it
will do for you.

2. An interview with Eluv,
who is trained and practices chanting and
Mantra.

3. A special subliminal CD
where the Mantra is repeated 100,000 times.

http://rechargingqigong.com/the-internal-mantra-program.html

Every Wednesday night, I teach a meditation
class to those of you who live in south Florida.
Soon the class will be televised via the internet.
I’m really excited about this and can’t wait to
invite all of you to the FREE meditation
classes that I teach.

I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth, and Happiness
