What are those Big Red Spots all over his back?

The rage in Hollywood is Cupping.
….And the movie stars are looking like an octopus
kissed them.
Cupping is one of the oldest methods of healing
used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The earliest recorded use of cupping dates to the
early fourth century; one textbook included an
entire chapter on “Fire Jar Qi,” a type of cupping
that could alleviate headaches, dizziness and
abdominal pain.

Originally, practitioners would use hollowed-out
animal horns for cups, and place them over
particular points or meridians. When I lived in
Maui I went to see a healer who only used the
horn, a single edge razor blade and a candle to
create the suction needed for the treatment.

I have been using a hand pump to pull out all the air
inside the cup to create the vacuum instead of fire.

Some years ago my mother had a bad backache and
although she wasn’t really sure about all this new
Chinese work that I learned but she let me try cupping
on her. Any way I was a little nervous myself as
at that time I learned the technique but didn’t
have much practice.
I got everything ready, the cups, a candle, some
alcohol and a lighter. I did everything that I
learned, but I didn’t realize that the cups got
hot, so when I placed them on my mom’s back she
yelled, “You burnt me, you burnt your own mother”.

The next day I bought the cups with the suction
bump and eliminated fire once and for all.
The vacuum created by the lack of oxygen anchors
the cup to the skin and pulls it upward on the
inside of the glass, as the air inside the jar is
gone. Drawing up the skin is believed to open up
the skin’s pores, which helps to stimulate the
flow of blood, balances and realigns the flow of
Qi, breaks up obstructions, and creates an avenue
for toxins to be drawn out of the body.
The cups are usually left on the skin for about 5
to 10 minutes. Several cups may be placed on a
patient’s body at the same time. Sometimes I will
put some oil or medicine on the skin so I can move
the cups around to loosen up things and bring more
energy to the body.

Cupping is used to treat respiratory conditions
such as bronchitis, asthma, and congestion;
arthritis; gastrointestinal disorders; and certain
types of pain. I have also use cupping
to treat depression and reduce swelling.

Cupping is safe, if you don’t burn your
mother by mistake, it can cause some swelling and
bruising on the skin but thats normal. The spots are gone in a few days.
The skin under a cup is drawn up, the blood vessels at the surface of the
skin expand. thats why why we get circular
bruises on the areas where the cups were applied.
These bruises are painless and are a good topic of conversation

Cupping is becoming very popular these days. Stars
like Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Paris
Hilton, David Arquette, Lady Gaga and Andy Murray
they all have one thing in common – circular marks
on their back that looks an octopus was sucking on
them. Even Jennifer Aniston was seen with some
circular marks on the red carpet.

I use cupping in my office just about every day to
treat colds, coughs, asthma, back pain and pain
with great success. If you come into my office be
sure to ask for a cupping treatment along with
your acupuncture treatment.
I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and

Your Body needs a Spring Cleaning

Friday, March 22nd, 2013
Share

I am expecting Dr. Cuenca from Santa Cruz
California to be in my office on April 4th for a
few days to test patients and determine where the
blockages are held in the body. I have had this
test numerous times over the years and it gives
you a picture of your health long before any
symptoms show up.

By the time you are getting symptoms the dis-ease
is well rooted in your body and much harder to
treat.
The beauty of images-1is
that you can find hidden blockages and treat it
6 months to a year before anything shows up.

CRT is a test is used in most clinics in Europe and is then
treated naturally with homeopathic, herbs, neural therapy and diet
to keep healthy and dis-ease free.

Dr. Cuenca forwarded this spring cleaning for me
to share with you.

Are you suddenly having the urge to organize the
closets, start a new project, or begin a cleanse?
If so, you are in alignment with the energy of
Spring. It’s the time for spring cleaning out
your closets and detox your liver, too!
During this time of year, the body naturally
begins cleansing itself from excess oils, fats,
salt, carbohydrates, and animal proteins by
releasing a flu or cold. Some may suffer
mysterious bodily aches and pains, and don’t
understand why. This is the liver’s way of
releasing toxins and cleaning house.

We can aid our liver through this natural
cleansing process by eating lightly prepared
meals, less food overall, eliminating animal
products for a specific period of time, and/or
fasting from food entirely.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the spring
correlates with the Liver and Gallbladder
meridians. Fasting can help relieve the pent-up
stagnation of winter (physically, emotionally and
spiritually). Spring-cleaning the body is
essential for physical and spiritual healing.
Every spring, begin to eat lighter foods (salads,
sprouts, spring soups, fish) and reduce heavy
animal proteins and fats for a few weeks. You
could follow that up with three days of The Master
Cleanser (lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne
pepper, water).

While doing the Master Cleanser, abstain from food
entirely and only drink the liquid for a short
period of time (three days). I feel that the body
and soul are pretty clear and 72 hours works
perfectly for most body systems.

Here is a partial list of what you can do to start
your “Spring Cleaning”:

Drink 8 glasses of water per day. Add ¼ tsp.
vitamin C crystals to each glass of water (it’s a
natural heavy metal toxin chelator).
Have a dark leafy vegetable salad every day
One cup of miso soup with sea vegetables the night
before you begin the cleanse
Make a liver tonic: 4 oz hawthorn berries, 2 oz
red sage (salvia), and 1 oz of cardamom seeds.
Steep 24 hours in 2 qts. Water. Add honey. Take 2
cups daily.

For the next 3 days…

On rising: take 1 lemon squeezed in water; or 2
tbsp. cider vinegar in water with 1 tsp. honey.
Breakfast: carrot-beet-cucumber juice. Add 1 tsp.
spirulina to any drink.

Mid-morning: take a green veggie drink; or an
organic green super food powder in water or
vegetable juice.

Lunch: have a glass of fresh carrot juice, or
organic apple juice, or a cup of liver tonic.

Mid-afternoon: mint or green tea.

Dinner: have another carrot juice or a mixed
vegetable juice, or hot vegetable broth

Before bed: a pineapple/papaya juice with 1 tsp.
Royal Jelly

The best detox foods for spring:
▪ Asparagus
▪ Dandelion
▪ Dark greens tender leaves
▪ Scallions
▪ Strawberries
▪ Cabbage
▪ Broccoli
▪ Leeks

Avoid “bad” fats:
Avoid trans fats and saturate fats and choose
cold pressed vegetable oils such as olive,
hempseed or flaxseed oils.

Eat what’s in season: Seasonal cooking is one of
the best way to eat fruits and vegetables at their
peak freshness, making them more delicious and
nutritious than ever.

Eat more raw food:
Raw food brings you vitamins, minerals and
precious enzymes that could otherwise be
destroyed by cooking. Eating more raw fruits and
vegetables is also a great way to detox
naturally.

Go vegan:
Heavy food such as meat can be difficult to
digest.

It also creates more metabolic waste that
your body has to detox afterward. Give your body
a break by introducing more vegan and
vegetarian meals in your diet.

Drink water:
Water is the ultimate detox food. It’s probably
one of the easiest and cheapest things to do to
kick-start a healthy detox diet; drink more water.

Lemon water:
Start out the day with a half glass of warm lemon
or lime water without any sweetener. The warm
lemon/lime water stimulates a sluggish liver and
alkalizes your tissues.

Tender greens:
Spring brings bright green new shoots. It’s the
ideal time to introduce you to new delicious and
alkalizing greens. Dark leafy greens have a
milder flavor when they are young. Add baby
spinach and other young field greens for a
mineral-rich liver cleansing diet.

Milk thistle and dandelion root:
These two natural herbs are commonly used to
protect and cleanse the liver. Milk thistle is the
protector, and dandelion root is the cleanser.

Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is great for liver health. Studies have
shown large quantities of vitamin C flush out
fats and repair liver damage.

B complex:
All the B’s are helpful, especially B12, which
has been used to help hepatitis patients.

Avoid or minimize alcohol and all over the
counter and prescribed pain suppressant drugs
containing acetaminophen, a known liver toxin.

This toxic world stresses our livers. Restoring a
tired liver and maintaining its healthy cleansing
functions are vital for overall health.

How to look younger Naturally: Part A

Natural Facial Rejuvenation

Over the last 2 decades I have had more than 1,000
patients come into my office and ask me the same
question over and over. “What can I do to slow
down the aging process? Their skin is wrinkling,
their brains don’t function as quick as it used to
and they hardly have energy to get through the
day.

Sex? Well forget it, they have no interest at all.
Long ago the Chinese developed a system that’s now
thousands of years old. It was an achiest secret
that was only for royalty and wealthy to retain
their youthful appearance. Facial rejuvenation-
the muscles in our face lose the tone and collagen
over time. We all want to be young and eliminate
wrinkles, facial rejuvenation bring more collagen
into the skin and keep you looking younger
naturally. Forget about the knife, it can cause
more harm and aggravation than it’s worth. When I
lived in Venezuela years ago, one of my patients
got a full face lift and unfortunately it got
infected. Her face was swollen up like a chipmunk
and she was on antibiotics for a years just to get
back to where she was.

A natural face lift does more than just your mask.
It detoxes the entire body and rejuvenates your
skin as well as your internal organs.
The treatment is done in 3 pillars.
1st pillar: involves detoxification and drainage
and continues for 6-12 weeks. It involves
injections, oral drops and homeopathic medicine.
2nd pillar: involves creams, exercise and
treatments 1-3 times a week
3rd pillar: works on the cellular level and organ
support. In this way the treatment is long lasting
with no side affects.

images and Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) can provide a safe,
effective, natural, and drug-free approach to
reducing the signs of aging. A facial rejuvenation
using this ancient technique can improve muscle
tone of the face and neck while addressing
underlying imbalances that may have contributed to
the aging process.
Why does skin sag?

Wrinkles begin internally from a constitutional
imbalance and fundamental weakness of Qi. Flowing
through these pathways, Qi provides nourishment,
support, and energy to every cell, tissue, muscle,
and organ.

This leads to inadequate muscle tone, and over
time, wrinkles and sagging skin.
A facial rejuvenation using our system tightens
pores, improves muscle tone and dermal
contraction, while enhancing and increasing the
elasticity of the skin. It can reduce signs of
aging by strengthening and stimulating the
circulation of Qi within the meridian pathways,
especially those of the face. You will look and
feel more energetic, calm, vibrant and healthy.
Facial rejuvenation is virtually painless, and a
non-surgical method to reduce the signs of aging.
This Natural Face Rejuvenation has the promise to
bring back youth to your face without undergoing
the pain and risks of the traditional plastic
surgery face lift.

Once again, on the request of so man of my
patients I am offering the natural face lift in my
office. Because of my tight schedule I can only
offer these to the first 12 people who call in and
reserve their space. The programs are divided up
into both 6 week and 12 week program depending on
the patient’s condition of their skin and what
damage has been done. I am going to write more
about this on Wednesday and give you more insight
on how you can stay young, healthy and looking the
best you can.

Holiday Traveling Colds

The common cold has many forms in traditional
Chinese medicine. The most common forms fall under
the categories of wind cold and wind heat. As is
the nature of exterior disorders involving wind,
the pattern may change very quickly, necessitating
a change in treatment strategy over the course of
an illness. In all the forms a cold, as well as a
cough or the flu, may take, prompt treatment bring
the most effective results. The longer one waits
to treat an infectious disease, the longer it
takes to clear the pathogen.

Common Cold Caused by Wind Cold
This pattern exhibits the following symptoms:
fever, chills (these are worse than the fever),
inability to get warm, nasal or sinus congestion
with clear mucus, cough with clear mucus, stiff
neck and shoulders, occipital headache (back of
head), and a slower-than-normal pulse that is more
easily felt at the surface.

Diaphoretic (sweating) therapy is especially
helpful in this condition, since it warms the body
and pushes the pathogen out through the pores. In
the very early stages of this pattern, an
effective remedy is miso soup with the white part
of spring onion (cong bai) and fresh ginger (sheng
jiang). For more severe or advanced cases, there
is a full range of therapies, depending on the
combination of symptoms.

When the wind-cold symptoms include strong chills,
inability to sweat, wheezing, and stiff neck, the
classic and ancient remedy is Ephedra Decoction
(Ma Huang Tang). The chief herb in this formula is
Ephedra (ma huang), a powerful stimulant that
opens the bronchial passages, warms the body, and
stimulates sweating.
Cinnamon twig (gui zhi) assists the Ephedra in
warming the body and promoting a sweat, while
apricot seeds (xing ren) help relieve the
wheezing. Licorice (gan cao) acts as a harmonizing
herb, modulating the harsh nature of the Ephedra,
preventing too much sweating and toxicity. It also
has anti-inflammatory and antitussive qualities,
making it useful for sore throat and cough
symptoms.

Ephedra is never used by itself in Chinese herbal
therapy; it is always part of a formula, often
combined with licorice (as in Ephedra Decoction),
which tones down its harsh nature. Since Ephedra
can raise blood pressure, especially when used
alone or with caffeine, it should not be used by
people who have heart disease orhypertension.
For symptoms of wind cold with headache and nasal
congestion as the chief symptoms, the classic
formula isChuan Xiong Cha Tiao Wan, typically
taken with green tea (cha), which moves the action
of the formula to the head area. Green tea has
been found recently to have strong antioxidant
properties, scavenging the free radicals involved
in aging and disease.
Common Cold Caused by Wind Heat
When the pernicious influence of wind combines
with heat, the fever is worse than the chills, and
the pulse is faster than normal. The primary
symptom is a swollen and sore throat with headache
and irritability. If there is a cough, it is
usually dry or nonproductive, with occasional
expectoration of yellow mucus.

Numerous formulas treat the many variations of
this condition, but the most famous by far is Yin
Qiao San. This highly effective treatment for wind
heat symptoms, appearing in such conditions as
influenza and tonsillitis as well as the common
cold, is also available from a number of different
manufacturers as the patent formula Yin Qiao Jie
Du Pian. In addition to Yin Qiao, a number of
other effective remedies are available. For
example, Gan Mao Ling is almost always useful in
cases of wind heat. If the fever is high, Zhong
Gan Ling is preferred. If the sore throat is
especially severe, it is recommended to add Chuan
Xin Lian Antiphlogistic Tablets to the treatment.
Other Elements of Treating the Common Cold
When treating cold or flu symptoms due to wind
heat, the results are always more dramatic if the
treatment begins at the earliest possible stage of
the illness. It is important to get adequate rest,
a vacation from sources of stress, and good
nutrition in the form of soups and fresh juices.
Sweets and stimulants (such as caffeinated
beverages) cause a rapid progression in the
severity of the illness since they tend to feed
the pathogen.

The same is true for tonifying herbs such as
ginseng. People sometimes make the mistake of
taking ginseng when they feel a cold coming on
since they have heard that ginseng is good for the
immune system. Using ginseng in this case is a
serious error since ginseng will powerfully feed
the pathogen causing the illness, making the
person feel much worse. This is traditionally
known as “trapping the burglar.”

If a person suspects a burglar is in the house,
the worst step to take is to lock all the doors
and windows, for the burglar will do more damage
trying to get out. A powerful tonic herb, ginseng
acts to “lock down” the exterior of the body while
releasing energy in the interior. If a pathogen is
already inside the body, ginseng and other
stimulating tonics lock it in while simultaneously
feeding it. The proper treatment plan is to open
the pores and push out the pathogen. Herb formulas
that “release the exterior and repel wind,” such
as Yin Qiao, are used in these cases.
On the other hand, if no pathogen is in the body,
ginseng strengthens the wei qi, the body’s wall
against invaders, while it simultaneously improves
the person’s vitality and resistance to disease.
This distinction between building long-term
immunity and fighting off an acute illness is an
important contribution of traditional Chinese
medicine. While tonic herbs can be taken
long-term, it is important to discontinue their
use during a cold or flu. Then, after the pathogen
has been expelled from the body, tonic herbs can
be taken again to build up strength and vitality
over the long-term.

Using Acupuncture to Treat the Common Cold
Acupuncture and moxibustion can provide some
immediate relief from cold symptoms and help the
body expel the pathogen much faster. Needles are
typically inserted into points along the lung and
large intestine meridians, which have demonstrated
the ability to activate immune function. The most
important acupuncture point in treating the common
cold is Large Intestine 4 (“Adjoining Valleys”),
which is located in the web between the thumb and
index finger. This point is very effective for
this condition, since it suppresses pain and
relieves exterior conditions. Patients frequently
experience quick relief when the point is needled
or massaged.

Typically, one or two acupuncture treatments and a
week’s course of herbal medicine are all that are
required for colds. If the symptoms are recognized
and treated early, it is possible to fight off a
cold in a day or two with acupuncture treatment
and herbs.

The most important acupuncture point in treating
the common cold is Large Intestine 4. This point
is very effective for this condition, since it
suppresses pain and relieves exterior conditions.

I am finally starting to feel better as I get a
lot of rest a few treatments and drank a lot of
fresh juice and water.

I’ll be sending you more information on how to
stay healthy all winter and avoid winter colds.

How to Stay Healthy all Fall and Winter

It won’t be long before we get deluged
again with reports and appeals by federal
offices and other institutions concerned with
public health. They are going to frighten us with
the threatening flu season, which they claim we are
facing and will advertize that this year’s seasonal
flu vaccine will protect us. Honestly, how many
people do you know get vaccinated against the flu?

And get sick with worse symptoms then they ever had.
I know many people who told me they would never expose
themselves to it again after having suffered from
profuse influenza after vaccination!

I have a completely different approach to this issue,
and one that is promising and well-tolerated.
We all know if our immune system is working well we just don’t get sick.
The question is which preventive measures should be taken
in order to reduce our exposure to potential health hazards?

• Are there ways to enhance the early detection of these hazards?
• What measures can be taken to improve the immune system in order to circumvent a potential illness?
• Now is the time to prepare your immune system to avoid colds and flu’s this Winter.

For one I do not recommend the annual influenza immunization.
For two good reasons:
1. The vaccine contains only one strain of an
attenuated virus and the vaccine contains often a
heavy metal stabilizer typically
thimersol which contains mercery.

2. The vaccines over the years
have the wrong viral strain most of the time, and hence,
no protection was offered. How would the drug company know what
flu is coming next year anyway? Answer they don’t it’s a shot in the dark .
Consequentially, the question has been raised as to
whether the injected material had itself lowered the
recipient’s immune defense, and led then to an increased
susceptibility to contracting the flu.
The traditional flu vaccination does not
provide any protection against viruses
that cause most common colds.but it’s a million
dollar business and they are going to sell , sell
sell. and it’s not for your health…

As an alternative I can provide you and your family with
the most advanced immune builders that are used by the most
precious Health Clinics in Europe. I have been working with
the most advanced clinics in Europe that has created an
immune stimulant which provides good protective coverage
from viruses and is free from any adverse side effects.

The Yin & Yang Path to Longevity Practices

Monday, April 16th, 2012

The Yang aspect of the Yin and Yang symbol has to do
with Fire and the Heart.
Although the organs in traditional Chinese medicine
do not literally correspond to the anatomical organs
Instead, they are better understood in terms of the functions
they perform, which incorporate energetic,
emotional and spiritual aspects as well as physical.

The Heart is Often called the Emperor of the body,
the heart rules over blood circulation and vessels,
and controls sweating.
Shen, the mind or spirit, resides in the Heart,
and is responsible for mental processes, thinking, memory,
sleep and dreams.

Our heart is ruled by the element of fire.
Each organ in the body has a sense organ connected to it.
The Lungs open to the nose, The Spleen manifests on our lips,
The Kidneys have to do with our ears,
the Liver opens up to the eyes and the Hearts is associated
with our tongue.
If there are memory problems, insomnia, excessive dreaming,
forgetfulness or amnesia it is all to do with an unbalanced Heart.
The heart govern the mind not just the brain but also the whole
personality.

If our heart is functioning properly, the blood flows smoothly
and our personally is usually balanced.

When a patient comes into see me I always look at their tongue.
It shows pathologic changes in the heart.
If the tongue is pale there is a usually some deficiency in the body.
If I see a purple tongue it means there is blood stagnation
and a bright red tongue means there is too much heat in the body.
To be a good diagnostician one must learn how to observe
others and put the signs together.

There is a story about a professor who was teaching a group
of first year medical students the importance observation.

He passed out cups on the first day of class and instructed
the students to follow his instructions to the T.

Each student was told to go into the restroom and urinate
in the cup and return with the sample in hand.

They all followed his instructions and upon returning the professor,
again stressed the importance of good observation and instructed
them to follow closely.

The professor put his finger into the cup and very deliberately
stirred clockwise for 10 seconds, the students followed.

Then he stuck his finger in his mouth and the students all
followed. The professor said,
“The lesion here is to learn the importance of observation,
if you were paying close attention you would have
noticed that I was stirring the urine with my ring
finger and then I sucked my middle finger”.

“You can observe a lot just by watching.”
Yogi Berra

When I see a patient or work with a student the first thing
I do is observe their balance of Yin and Yang.
There needs to be a mutual support and communications
between the Yin and Yang.
If there is a disharmony:
“The heart and kidneys aren’t communicating”
And that means trouble.

The fire of the heart should warm the kidneys and the water
of the kidneys should irrigate and moisten the heart.
The kidney should cool the head and the heart should
warm the feet.

When the Fire and Water are in harmony they work together
the heart yang energy will nourish the kidneys and the
kidney yin energy will nourish the heart.

To make the most effective changes in your health or
longevity practices it takes both the patient and doctor
working together to bring the body/mind and spirit back
into balance and harmony.

That’s why prescriptive exercises are so very important;
it’s a way to keep your self-balanced.

Unleash your Sexual Power!

Whenever Billy gets close to scoring,
the game is over before it even starts.
Now he stays away from sexual encounters as
he is embarrassed and within minutes of getting
excited he blows his goo. He told me that sometimes
he looses it even before intercourse.

This can happen to anyone, regardless of age.
It affects sex life big time and the overall
satisfaction of the partners as well.
According to western medicine, premature ejaculation
is due to a heightened sensitivity to touch which
results in quick ejaculation and thus sex can’t be
continued for long.

The causes for premature ejaculation can be:
• Emotional aspects
• Stress
• Mental instability
• Depression
• Blood
• Excess Medicines or drugs
• Over drink Alcohol

Most men experience premature ejaculation at
some point in their lives. It becomes a serious
health condition only if it persists over a period of
time and may be a precursor to impotency.
Most cases of premature ejaculation remain
undiagnosed and untreated because of the stigma
associated with this condition. ?? ?

Current evidence supports an average intra-vaginal
ejaculation potential time of six and a half minutes in
18-30 year olds. If it’s below this time, this is
considered premature ejaculation

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) see’s Premature Ejaculation
most commonly caused by a Kidney disorder.

There are many other patterns associated with this disorder
but most commonly have an underlying kidney deficiency.

Kidney deficiency with Liver Qi Stagnation:

Kidney is deficient in general, plus emotional factors
stagnate the Liver, like anger. This can lead to heat which forces
an already weak Ming Men Fire, (“The Door of Life”) It’s located
just beneath the two kidneys, and exactly opposite the navel, and
it is associated with the water element. These people are generally
depressed, have a bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat, and blurred vision.
Chinese Herbal Formula: see your Chinese herbalist

Kidney Yin deficiency with Fire Rising:

Excessive amounts of sexual activity, which leads to
this condition of premature ejaculation.
There are general symptoms of hot feet, night sweats,
red cheeks, mild anxiety, and low back ache.

Kidney Qi deficiency:

This type of premature ejaculation revolves around fatigue.
Although there is also low libido, when this individual can
achieve an erection it will not last long and will experience
premature ejaculation. The body will show signs of poor energy,
low back ache, dribbling urine or frequent urination, urination
at night, weak knees low sex drive and possible sense of cold,
especially the feet.

Fear/Shock injure Kidney:

Premature ejaculation occurring after a traumatic event in ones life.
There is a sudden feeling of fear or fright, which changes the
behavior of the individual. There also may be insomnia, fear of
crowds or similar uneasy feelings.

What can one do to hold on to your goodies:

Shen Disturbance or just flipped out?

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

Last Friday I left the office around
3 O’ clock and took a five hour drive
up north to The Academy for
Five Elements Acupuncture School
in Gainesville, Florida, the home of the Gators.

I spent the weekend with 50 students from
all over the country to study with a
Master of Medical Qi Gong.

Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, the founder of
The International Institute of Medical
Qi Gong flew in from California to
teach an intensive on Shen disorders.

In acupuncture, depression, mood
disorders, mental health problems and
emotional disturbances is associated with ‘

Shen’ Disturbance

.
A Shen disturbance can be manifested by
patients with depression, mental health
problems and emotional disorders.

In Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),
the Shen is our spirit.
Shen lives in the heart, not in the brain.
Mental disharmony often indicates that the
Shen is unsettled or troubled.
We call this condition ‘Disturbed Shen.’

When there is an energetic knot in the
heart, from lust filled desires, fear, hate
filled guilt and blame, an energetic knot
is formed causing a Shen distribution.

In this workshop, we learned to remove
energetic parasites, how to form and use
energy balls and how to remove unhealthy spirit.
This may sound a little strange to you but there
is more going on with our health and well
being all the time and it’s not all physical.
Sometimes an imbalance will appear in
your dreams or show up in a host of
disturbances in your life, long before it
shows up as a physical disease. Cancer
is a good example of this, a mental
emotional disturbance that is on going,
and eats away at us until one day it raises its
ugly head and sick is all around us.

In Western medicine, they are treated with
drugs that sedate the patient until they come
out of the disturbed mental state, if not;
they are medicated for their entire life.
We all know this is no cure, but it is done
to millions of people daily.

I believe that some of these disturbances
come from spiritual openings or spiritual
blocks that most of us have no idea how to handle.
Working with Medical Qi Gong over the past years,
I have learned how to redirect these
energies to open up the heart and balance the mind.

Medical Qi Gong offers us prescriptive
exercises that will balance the body, mind
and spirit and which brings peace and harmony
back to the person in a pure non-invasive way to heal.
These exercises are prescribed to patients
to recover from illness, but why wait until
you are sick? Learn the exercises now and
keep yourself and your family healthy.

For thousands of years, these secret
teachings were shared with the elite only.

In the Recharging Qi Gong Program
http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html
there are specific exercises to re-balance your
body, mind and spirit and keep you dis-ease free.

“The “The Qi Gong Renaissance.”.”

There is a trend happening in China as we speak.

People are studying and practicing
more Qi Gong than in any previous time
in Chinese history.

In the past, Qi Gong was only available to the
wealthy, monks, priests, and nobility.
But now, Qi Gong is taught in schools,
practiced in parks, temples, clinics and
hospitals to anyone who is willing to l
invest their time and energy.

When I was in Beijing a few years ago,
every morning when I went down to the park
to do my Qi Gong practice, there were hundreds
of people practicing different forms of Energy
work and today there is even more.
It was incredible to see and feel the Qi
and this type of energy brings in more energy.

In fact, when I went into the bookstores
in China,I found hundreds of books, tapes, videos,
magazines, on just about every aspect of
Qi Gong.
*The Martial art forms

*Meditation forms

* Medical Qi Gong

All kinds of healing forms of
Qi Gong. I was there searching for practices
on healing, health and the Medical Qi Gong forms.

I was amazed to find that Medical Qi Gong was practiced
in every hospital I went to. When I first went to China
17 years ago, these practices were all secret,
but today there are large Medical Qi Gong
hospitals in all major cities of China.

China is the only country in the
world where Medical Qi Gong has been
truly integrated and accepted as part of
the healthcare system.

You may be asking what is Medical Qi Gong?
Qi means life -force -energy and Gong means skill.
Qi Gong is the practice of gathering,
cultivating and applying life force energy
to heal the body, mind and spirit.

Medical Qi Gong is the oldest of the four branches
of traditional Chinese medicine and provides the
foundation in which acupuncture, herbal
medicine, and massage originated.

The Qi is the spark that activates all the other
branches and opens up the spiritual path of self
realization. It is the best way to prevent or cure a
disease, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

In my practice of Medical Qi Gong, I send
energy/Qi into my patient’s physical and
energetic body to help transform their health.

If I do this all day, without recharging myself,
I would be wasted in no time. Practicing charges
up my batteries up and I do my energetic practices
every morning, if I didn’t I would be sick myself in
no time at all.

That’s why every morning I train, practice and teach to
renew my body mind and spirit. The foundation
of the practice is built on the meditation and spiritual
work and that’s what guides me.

When I am practicing
Flying Crane Qi Gong,
www.flyingcraneqigong.com
I always close the set by doing the automatic move
to balance my meridians and chakras. This balances
and roots the energy in the lower
Dantian, navel and Ming area of the body and
Is the storage place for Qi.

Internal Transformation-Change Darkness to Light/Yang to Yin

This morning my practice was
focused on all the Yin organs.
The heart, lungs, spleen, liver, and
kidneys are all vital organs and are
considered Yin in Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Keeping these
organs healthy and disease free- will
keep all the Yang organs strong and
healthy as well. Like the stomach,
gall bladder, large and
small intestine and the bladder.

In the five element system,
every organ has an emotion to it
as well. For example, the liver
is associated with anger on the
negative side and kindness on the
more positive side. The lungs are
associated with sadness, grief, valor
and courageousness on the more positive note.

The reason why we focus on the
Yin organs is they will balance out the
Yang as you work them in Qi Gong, or
when you’re getting an acupuncture treatment.

It’s like an alchemical process where
you’re changing one emotion to the other.
You’re able to free yourself of any form
of dis –ease by getting the energy to flow.

In China, there isn’t much of a
physiology department or need for
too many psychiatrists.

When there is an imbalance
in the mind there will be an
imbalance in the organ associated with it.

The Heart/ Small Intestines-
Negative: Anxiety, Rush, and Hastiness.
Positive: Love, Respect, Honor, and Joy.

The Spleen/Stomach-
Negative: Worry
Positive: Balance and Equanimity

The Lung/ Large Intestines-
Negative: Sadness and Grief
Positive: Valor and Courageousness

The Kidneys/ Urinary Bladder-
Negative: Fear
Positive: Gentleness

The Liver/ Gallbladder-
Negative: Anger
Positive: Kindness

In the Recharging Qi Gong program,
I teach the Yin set, a series of prescriptive
exercises that focus primarily on the organs
to change the negative emotion alchemically
to the positive emotion and at the same time
correcting the imbalance in the organ.
If the Qi is flowing, blood will naturally follow.
If there is a blockage in the energy patter,
it causes a blockage in the Qi, a stagnation
of the blood, and dis-ease is soon to follow.

In the Recharging Qi Gong program,
specially selected exercises are taught to
not only improve your health but to increase
your energy by TEN FOLD. There are thousands
of people practicing these exercises in seven
different continents, and all report more energy
in general, more vitality, their flexibility has
increased, and their sexual appetite and performance
is the best ever. If you don’t have this program yet,
