Medical Qi Gong Prescription Exercises

Monday, March 17th, 2014

imagesAfter your Medical Qigong treatment there are specific Exercises
and Meditations the patient is encouraged to do to enhance
their healing process;

These exercises are called Medical Qigong Prescription Exercises
they include the Principles of Yin and Yang and Dao Yin Training
in Self-Regulation.
Such exercises will start a rewiring of your energy body and
clear emotional blockages that have been intensely held for years
in the subconscious mind as well as physical problems
hidden deep within the tissue.

The Qi Gong prescription exercises work very differently than typical
physical exercises,as they involve precise movements, visualization
of color,and sounds.
They explore both the negative and positive quality that one wished
to rid themselves of and will assist in the harvest of quality you
now want to acquire.

We all know patient compliance is difficult to achieve no matter if it’s
swallowing a pill, changing ones eating habits or doing an exercise.
The visualization in the prescriptive exercises encourages one to
make changes in a multitude in areas in your life,
effortlessly and quickly.

Like the ones in the “Yin Set”
http://rechargingqigong.com/yin-set.html
Involve invoking all of our senses. I have seen people change
from a situation of hopelessness to vibrant health within
months and sometimes within weeks.

The sounds or mantras that you repeat effect the auditory reflexes,
visualization of color, shapes, distance and measurements effects
our visual, the movement effects the kinesthetic part of the brain
and helps to let go of the negative response and replace it
with the positive.

This kind of work greatly affects our spirit. You can think of these exercises
as an inner alchemical process to transform, heal and uplift the entire body
mind and spirit.

Qi Gong exercises will work on transforming and heal all the yin organs,
the Heart, Spleen, Lungs, Kidneys and the Liver, as this happens
the yang organs -Small Intestine, Stomach, Large Intestine, Bladder
and the Gallbladder are strengthened as well.

I have been practicing these exercise and prescribing them to my students
and patients for many years to enhance their immune system and to
clear negative energy.
These exercise will transform and boost your energy and keep you
healthy mentally, physically and spiritually.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness

Dr. Wu Dhi was born Sherwood Swartz but mostly
known as ‘Woody’ to friends and family. As a student
of various traditions he as received various names
and titles over the years as is appropriate in those
schools. Among these names was Wu Di, very similar
to the pronunciation of Woody, in China the name
means ‘has no enemies’. Wu Di was later renamed by
a Tibetan Lama to Wu Dhi with an ‘h’. Although this
may not seem like that much of a change from Wu Di
or even Woody for that matter, it is in fact a high
honor to receive such a name directly from a Lama.
Dhi in this case is the Sanskrit seed syllable ‘Dhi’ and
associated with the great wisdom holder Manjurshri.

Dr. Wu Dhi has been a pioneer in alternative health
care for over 30 years and a master of Medical Qi
Gong. Dr. Wu Dhi completed his advance studies in
neurology under the direction of Professor Sun at the
prestigious Heilongjiang, University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in Harbin P.R.China.

Got Gas?

Wednesday, August 28th, 2013
Share

Mary Ann moved here from Argentina, started a
family, and for the last ten years or so
everything was going just fine. She felt safer and
adapted to life in the USA like a duck does to
water, and it helped that she moved to Miami since
almost everyone speaks Spanish. Mary Ann is a
perfectionist in just about everything she does
and has been very successful with everything she
put her mind to.

When she came in my office she hemmed and hawed
before she even told me what was going on. She
looked very healthy, young and in her late
twenties, with a great looking smile, beautiful
long black hair, she turned heads when she
walked into the room.

We talked for a long time and she told me that she
stopped dating, going to parties, didn’t really do
much shopping, or even going out into public. Mary
Ann has been going to the gym for years and loved
to stay in shape, but something happened 4 or 5
months ago and she has stopped all public actives.

I scanned her energy fields to see if I could pick
up something that was out of balance in her energy
body- the meridians or chakras, but I wasn’t able
to pick up much more than an imbalance in the
digestive system. Mary Ann is a worrier and she
worries all the time. In the middle of our
conversation she uncontrollably started to cry and
then told me her story.

“A few months ago for no apparent reason I
started to get uncontrollable gas. It happens
every time I eat anything and it smelled so bad,
and it’s really embarrassing.”

This is a problem for any of us, but to a young
woman this is also a total embarrassment as well
as a possible health problem. According to the
National Institutes of Health, the average person
passes intestinal gas 14 times a day and produces
about 1 to 4 pints of the stuff.

The foods we eat can be a factor in the production
of gas. The carbohydrates in some foods are not
completely digested in the small intestine. When
these undigested sugars reach the colon, they are
fermented by the bacteria that normally live in
the colon. This fermentation often results in gas.
The most common source of undigested carbohydrate
is lactose, or milk sugar, which is found in dairy
products. Intestinal bacteria step in to aid the
process and this fermentation causes gas.
Another common source of gas is beans. Beans
contain a sugar that cannot be digested by the
human intestine. Besides beans and dairy products,
many fruits and vegetables are gas producers.
Certain colon bacteria are capable of digesting
these substances, producing hydrogen, methane, and
carbon dioxide in the process. Excessive gas is
the result.

What can you do to Reduce Excessive Gas?
• Eat slowly and don’t talk while eating.
Chew your food thoroughly, instead of gulping it
down.
• Increase your physical activity.
• Reduce your lactose products such milk
skim milk, and cottage cheese. Yogurt is usually
well tolerated by lactose- intolerant people.
• Avoid sorbitol and fructose. Sodas and
hard candies that contain sorbitol and fructose
sugars cause extra gas.
• Too much fiber will increase your gas,
especially if you increase the amount too quickly.
• Presoak dried beans and dispose of the
water. This helps remove the gas-causing starches.

The Chinese have an exercise that seems to work
great to eliminate embarrassing gasses.

images The system of Chinese nutrition is a
healing system that’s on its own. Not only is it a
healing system, but it is also a disease
prevention system. The great advantage of Chinese
medicine is it treats the whole person and not
just the disease. If you take a look at the
five-element chart, the elements are Fire, Earth,
Metal, Water and Wood. The metal element is what
rules the lungs and the large intestine. There is
a color for each element as well as a positive and
negative emotion. For example: the metal color is
white and the negative emotion is sadnes s and
grief, the positive is courageousness and valor.
When walking, we are moving energy in the body and
working the metal energy that works the lungs to
bring more blood and oxygen to our cells and the
large intestine that starts the peristaltic action
to move the toxins out of you body.

It’s been a few weeks now and she eliminated all
milk products, and beans. Mary Ann reports that
she walks at least 100 steps after every meal and
the tooting is just about gone. In fact, she came
to the beach with a few of her friends to learn
the other exercises to improve her digestion.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness.

How the Summer Solstice will affect your internal Energy

Friday, June 21st, 2013
Share

The summer solstice is almost upon us again. It is
the longest day and shortest night of the year,
from the moment of the start of Summer Solstice,
on June 21st. The Sun immediately begins to wane
and the days will get shorter. In the Five
element system we are moving into the images,
which rules the heart, pericardium, triple heater
and small intestine.

A TIME THAT YOU WANT TO STAY COOL.
In both body and mind.

I like a refreshing and tasty drink. I take cold
fresh Mint mixed with lemon juice, ice and a
little maple syrup as sweetener. It will help to
cool you down as things continue to heat up for
the next 3 months.

The formula:
¼ cup of washed fresh mint leaves
4 to 6 organic lemons
2 Quarts of filtered water
Maple syrup to taste

Squeeze the lemons, add juice to the water and
maple syrup, add ice and put in a blender with the
mint leaves and blend on high until smooth.

Midsummer has been one of the important solar
events throughout the evolution of humankind. It
was an indicator that the year was about to begin
waning, thus winter would be again returning. The
sun appeared to stand still in its northern
progression on the 21st

Whenever there is a change in the seasons and
especially on the winter and summer solstice it is
an opportunity to reset our internal clocks. It is
an excellent time to take a break from your usual
pace and allow oneself some quite time to reflect,
meditate or just relax.

Eat very light at these important junctions,
as it will help you move into the new system smoothly.

The Summer Solstice is the time to recharge your
spirit, building your personal power and fortify
your health.

This is an excellent time to detox the body mind
and spirit. I am doing the 7-day detox program
with a group of patients and students, called the
“Core restore program”.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html.

It’s easy to do, will benefit your liver, kidneys
and digestive system. “The Core Restore program”
will cool your body down, relax your mind and
you’ll lose a few pounds to boot.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

have fun!

What foods cause your belly to grow the most?

Friday, December 30th, 2011
Share

It’s just about 2012 and New Years Eve is upon us.
My office is only open for emergencies, stuff like back pain,
auto crashes and I can’t stand my relatives.
When things are slow at the office it gives me a little more
time to train and to catch up on my reading.

I read a report this morning on the latest findings on what
makes your belly grow the quickest and kills your
sexual appetite at the same time.

They claim that the foods that lead to long-term weight gain
are things that most of us in the good old USA have been eaten
on regular basis for years.
Most people out there don’t have a clue that these foods
will fatten them up like a stuffed goose in no time
They didn’t realize anything until one day the big belly just
seemed to appear out of nowhere and there love tool
just didn’t work like it used to.

Hear are a few of the culprits:

• French fries
• Potato chips
• Soda
• Sugar laced bottled fruit juices
• Most bottled ice teas
• Red meat
• Processed meats like hot dogs
• Fast foods

When you have these foods groups in your diet on a regular basis,
you’re going to be looking at a big fat belly sooner or later.

Belly fat is a real killer and will age you quicker than you could
imagine and kill your libido quicker than a New York second
and that’s really fast.

As we get older our organs have a tendency to prolapse because
of lack of proper exercise, gravity and the natural aging process
everything begins to sag.
The lungs and heart don’t have the elasticity they had in your
younger years and as they droop this affect the entire chest cavity.
The liver and spleen are affected and of course both the
small intestine and large intestine are affected.
Everything drops!

The next thing you know you have problems “DOWN THERE”
and your sex life is over.
The famous country and western singer Willie Nelson wrote
this poem on His 75th birthday on how he out- lived his sex organ.

“My nookie days are over,
my pilot light is out.

What used to be my sex appeal,
is now my waterspout.
Time was when, on its own accord,
from my trousers
it would spring.
But now I’ve got a full time job,

to find the firkin’ thing.
It used to be embarrassing,
the way it would behave.

For every single morning,
it would stand and watch me shave.
Now as old age approaches,
it sure gives me the blues.

To see it hang its little head,
and watch me tie my shoes!”

Yep, Willie is a country party kind of guy and misused his
health for years and is now in a pickle with his pickle.

You can avoid these problems and delay the aging process
by changing your diet, keeping up with a regular exercise
program and following the
Programs set forth by the ancients from China, Tibet
and India.
I have explored these teachings in depth for over 30 years
and have created the Recharging Qi gong Program to enhance
your health and wellbeing.
If you don’t have the program as yet,
what are you waiting for? Next Year?
Place your order now and begin the New Years right!

Internal Transformation-Change Darkness to Light/Yang to Yin

Friday, June 10th, 2011
Share

This morning my practice was
focused on all the Yin organs.
The heart, lungs, spleen, liver, and
kidneys are all vital organs and are
considered Yin in Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Keeping these
organs healthy and disease free- will
keep all the Yang organs strong and
healthy as well. Like the stomach,
gall bladder, large and
small intestine and the bladder.

In the five element system,
every organ has an emotion to it
as well. For example, the liver
is associated with anger on the
negative side and kindness on the
more positive side. The lungs are
associated with sadness, grief, valor
and courageousness on the more positive note.

The reason why we focus on the
Yin organs is they will balance out the
Yang as you work them in Qi Gong, or
when you’re getting an acupuncture treatment.

It’s like an alchemical process where
you’re changing one emotion to the other.
You’re able to free yourself of any form
of dis –ease by getting the energy to flow.

In China, there isn’t much of a
physiology department or need for
too many psychiatrists.

When there is an imbalance
in the mind there will be an
imbalance in the organ associated with it.

The Heart/ Small Intestines-
Negative: Anxiety, Rush, and Hastiness.
Positive: Love, Respect, Honor, and Joy.

The Spleen/Stomach-
Negative: Worry
Positive: Balance and Equanimity

The Lung/ Large Intestines-
Negative: Sadness and Grief
Positive: Valor and Courageousness

The Kidneys/ Urinary Bladder-
Negative: Fear
Positive: Gentleness

The Liver/ Gallbladder-
Negative: Anger
Positive: Kindness

In the Recharging Qi Gong program,
I teach the Yin set, a series of prescriptive
exercises that focus primarily on the organs
to change the negative emotion alchemically
to the positive emotion and at the same time
correcting the imbalance in the organ.
If the Qi is flowing, blood will naturally follow.
If there is a blockage in the energy patter,
it causes a blockage in the Qi, a stagnation
of the blood, and dis-ease is soon to follow.

In the Recharging Qi Gong program,
specially selected exercises are taught to
not only improve your health but to increase
your energy by TEN FOLD. There are thousands
of people practicing these exercises in seven
different continents, and all report more energy
in general, more vitality, their flexibility has
increased, and their sexual appetite and performance
is the best ever. If you don’t have this program yet,
