Which do you choose, HEALTH or sickness?

Julia called my office this morning
and asked if she could talk to me.
I had a few minutes so I took her call.
She was beside herself! She has some real
issues about her health that I am not going to
go into and her insurance company will not
pay one thin dime to help her out.

She asked me why not?

The typical patient that is using
western medicine doesn’t understand
why most insurance companies don’t
cover preventive health care, anti aging or
any kind of longevity practices.
The reason being the system is set up
for sickness Not Health!

Usually people in the western world are
trained to see their doctor for sickness.
You can get pain pills, chemotherapy or
have your leg cut off and most likely your
insurance company will pick up the expenses
after you meet your deductible that could be
up to $10,000 if it is approved.

My usual patient is from Europe,
South America or has been educated to
know western medicine doesn’t do well
with curing any disease. They manage disease.
Americans have been brain washed into thinking
that the health industry, the government or food
companies are interested in their health
–It’s not true at all.

Real Health Care is different!

The client that comes into my office knows
that they are coming to be Educated and Learn
how they can avoid getting sick, avoid being put
on medicine and enjoy a healthy life.
All the treatments are natural.
I use homeopathic medicine, natural herbs,
diet, nutrition and vitamins.
Some of the treatments involve acupuncture,
muscle release techniques, laser, structural
realignment, prescriptive medical Qi gong longevity
exercises as well as anti-stress therapy.

I use the same tests that the western doctor uses
plus many testing processes only used in Europe and China.
Julia asked me if I looked at the blood? Yes! Of course I do.
Going over the blood work is an important indicator,
so is the balance of Ph and what you eat on a daily basis.

I also host a meditation class for my patients once a
week as part of their treatment and teach a Qi Gong
class once a week to encourage health and longevity.
This form of treatment gives the patient more
responsibility for his or her own health.
The doctor becomes more of a health coach.
My patients have found this kind of health care
pays in many aspects.
The # 1 goal is to stay healthy in body, mind and spirit.

THIS REALLY WORKS!
I practice this kind of health care on my family,
my friends, my students and my patients and I
boldly practice Health Care on myself.

Exercise, Diet, Nutrition, Qi Gong,
Meditation, Self-Cultivation
Smiles, Laughter, Love, Gratitude,
Forgiveness, Giving Back to the Community,
Sharing, and Caring

I wish you the best in your
HEALTH, Wealth and Happiness

It’s Time to Awaken the Energy

My friend Diana came to Miami
with her daughter this past weekend.
I have known her and her family for over 30 years.

When I first went to Caracas, Venezuela
in 1978 it was a tropical paradise.
There were people walking everywhere with
smiles on their face, the cafés on the
streets were full and the economy was booming.
To me being in Caracas at that time was like
being in a dream, there was always magic in the air.

The parks were filled with well-groomed exotic
lush tropical plants from all over the world, the
museums had wonderful paintings and sculptures
with vibrant colors and the parties, weddings
and festivals were all elegant.

I came to Venezuela to see patients and
study with my Meditation Master.
We started our days with meditation, exercise
and a good breakfast before seeing patients.
After another long day and after a short break
for dinner the real magic began.
“The Opening of the Way”!

Working with a Master who is in tune, open and
is willing to share his knowledge is rare and a
privilege only a few get to experience.

When most people think of meditation they imagine
sitting with their eyes closed contemplating their navel.
The studies were far from that. In fact we worked the
spiritual digestive system to the maximum. When they say
spiritual work, they mean work.

We focused on teachings from the
Tibetan Buddhism and the Shaivism, one
of the three branches of Hinduism as well as
the western teachings of alchemy, the kabala and
esoteric Christianity and of course the
Chinese Taoism longevity practices.

The classes would go until the wee hours
of the morning! We would do breathing practices,
expand our energy, open our hearts, increase
awareness as well as learn how to extract
Nourishment from the universe and unconditional love.

“The Awakened Energy
feeds the Spirit within.”
-The Lama on the mountain

These practices were focused on longevity and
anti aging, which opened up the spiritual
channels revealing what’s really behind the cosmic curtain.

I traveled back and forth to Caracas every 4
months for years until I permanently moved
there in 1987 to run the Ashram and share the teachings.

I am still teaching and coaching now in Miami Beach.
Every Wednesday night at my office I share these
valuable teaching with students and some patients on
how to stay grounded, open and how to develop their
spiritual digestive system as well as Practices like
the Taoist Sexual longevity practices.

Yes SEX can either keep you healthy or kill you.

“Whole- Lee work” – is knowing about your 9 holes
and how to use them. Your speech, your hearing, your
digestive system, what you see, smell and of course your
sexual energy. For those of you who live in other parts
of the USA or are on the other side of the world,
I have a few opportunities for you!

We can set up a date for some private coaching in Miami!
Call Anastasia at 305-407-0120 and we can set up a
phone consultation or if you can’t travel we can
touch base on Skype.

If you didn’t know it I record these teachings and
send the members of the Qi Gong Inner circle a DVD
every month on practices, meditations, exercises
and much more on how to make you more powerful in every aspect.

Get ready! Changes are in motion for all of us.
Stay grounded, centered and focused.

Finding a Good Spiritual Teacher

Friday, June 1st, 2012
Share

How do you find a good teacher
when it comes to internal practices?
Meditation and Spiritual work in general?

“It is said that when the student is
ready the teacher will appear.”

Although I believe this is true, when
you are ready your teacher you need to
be prepared for their arrival.

I grow an organic garden every year filled
with a multitude of vegetables radishes,
tomatoes, eggplant, peppers,
cucumber, lettuce, garlic and onions,
spinach, squash, zucchini and a lot of
green leafy stuff that I don’t know the name of.

I don’t just through the seeds in and
expect to get food. It takes work. I first
have to turn the soil over, add fertilizer,
dig the holes, plant the seeds or plants and
then I have to water them and just the right
amount and there has to be lots of sunshine
but not too hot. I am continually picking
bugs and slugs and snails off and pulling
weeds out and this gives me a nice garden
with plenty of great organic food.

It’s the same with spiritual WORK. One
needs to cultivate a practice daily, meditate,
exercise, diet, right thinking and reading the
right kinds of books. It takes seeking; going to
lectures, joining with right minded people and
then a teacher has a place to land in your life.

I know this because I spent years studying,
reading, practicing and praying to be open
enough so a teacher could come into my life
and I was lucky as many showed up. I have
studied with different teachers–with a host of
teachings from many different schools and
traditions Taoist teachers, Buddhist teachers,
Hindu, Sufi, Jewish and Christian.
Every one of these teachers had a valuable
lesson for me to learn. Spiritual teachings
are like a giant puzzle, it seems like every
teacher has a piece and they are all valuable
and fit somewhere in your life to make you
the person you are today.

I consider myself fortunate to have worked
with Spiritual teachers for a greater part of
my life and the teachings I have learned I
share in these letters, in the meditation classes
I teach, the workshops I give and to the
members of the Qi Gong Inner circle.

If you feel you are ready to receive more
pieces to your puzzle, I invite you to join
me and the members of the
Qi Gong inner Circle.

Being Cheap can cost you Big Bucks

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012
Share

We all love a good deal, but going cheap
at the expense of your health, is just plain stupid.

The old saying penny wise and pound-foolish has
more truth in it than you could imagine.

Here are 6 of the most penny-pinching
things that you should never do.

1. Eating Fast food for the most part
may seem cheap in the moment but in
the long run you will just be mounting up big
health bills later. Digestive problems, ulcers,
blocked arties are just a few of the things that can
go wrong by eating the wrong foods.

“Cheap people care about the cost of something;
frugal people care about the value of something.”

2. Avoid seeing your dentists for
years can cost you your teeth, gum problems
bad breath and even heart problems.
You may think you are saving money or don’t
have the money but take care of your
teeth they will soon be gone.

3. White bread should
be avoided like the plague.

The whiter the bread,
the quicker you’re dead!” – old saying.

White bread is a main stay of most people’s diets.
Believe it or not, eating white bread is bad for you!
If you want to improve your health, lose some weight
and avoid the possibility of ending up with all types of
diabetes, then white bread will have to go.

4. Freezing to death during the winter to keep the
thermostat low is just a bad idea. Although you may be
saving on the front end, your body has to work hard to
generate enough heat to keep you alert and healthy.
If you are alert you can come up with more creative
ideas and balance out your income.

5. Neglecting the basic maintenance needed on your
home and car will only end up costing you more money
down the road. House upkeep, such as changing furnace
filters, cleaning out the chimney, cleaning out the gutter,
even keeping up with landscaping, is not something you
should neglect. Neither is changing the oil and checking the
fluids on your car. Lack of maintenance inevitably leads to something
big breaking and that will cost you a lot more to repair than it would
have cost to make small, ongoing investments in regular maintenance.

6. Your retirement fund needs the years it has until your
retirement to build, and when you take it out early, you’re
costing yourself a huge amount that you’ll definitely wish you
had later. Solve your urgent problems with a little creativity.

• Pick up a side job or do some freelance work.
To make cash in today’s world you have to be more creative than ever.
I have my medical practice, my Internet business and teach classes and
I am always keeping my eyes open to new opportunities.
Always keep your finger in the pie and you’ll be happier, and wealthier.

• Sell some of your belongings that you don’t need.

• Stop (or cut down on) eating out and buying coffee or soda.

• Look for ways to cut costs in your regular expenses,
such as dropping/reducing your cable and cell phone plans.
But don’t cheat yourself out of retirement money!

Don’t be cheap especially with yourself and family.
Look for ways to be more creative and bring more health into your life.
I have known people who never do anything about their
health until it’s far too late, they are the type that think they
are saving or that they don’t have enough to take care of their
health so they wait and wait and then they freak out when they
are sick and say they will pay anything to get their health back
and it’s usually too late. Yet they never did a damn thing to stay healthy.

Don’t let this happen to you.
Start taking all unhealthy foods out of your diet.
Start loving your self.
Get on a regular exercise program and Stay well hydrated.

These are a few of the keys to Health, Wealth and Happiness
Don’t be cheap with the things in life that really pay.

Get the anti stress solution today and add more value into your life!

What the heck is a “Healing Crisis”?

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012
Share

If you have ever gone on a fast or tried
out one of those detox programs to clean up your
system, it can be quite uncomfortable if you don’t
know what you are doing.

Years ago I moved my family from Detroit, Michigan
to a small town in the Rocky Mountains, the total
population was 400 people.
We lived at 8945 Feet above sea level and ate
a strict vegetarian diet. No meat, fish, chicken, eggs and no sugar.

The house was heated with a wood stove, so I did a lot of physical
work –chopped and split 10 cords of wood every winter, skied three
or four days a week and spent my summers hiking in the high country.
My body was strong fit and my internal system was clean as a whistle.
I can remember going back to Detroit to visit my family one spring after
ski season was over and my younger brother, who was a little heavy,
asked me if I would go on a fast with him so he could shed some unwanted pounds.

This was right up my ally as I was doing detox programs and fasting for years.
We decided to do an eleven day detox cleanse program that I
have done at least a dozen times with no bad side effects.
The first day consisted of just grapefruit juice for breakfast,
lunch and dinner and nothing else the second day was the same. I was
feeling great with lot of energy. Little did I know, my brother has been
eating most of his meals at restaurants, eating junk foods for snaps and
taking recreational drugs. When I asked him about his health he said he
was healthy and nothing was wrong except he was getting fat. I guess he
forgot to tell me about his little bad habits.

We started the program and when I called him to see how he was doing he was
as sick as a dog. All the poisons and toxins started to dump and fluids
were coming out of every hole at once. As far as he was concerned he was
sick, but in reality it was a Healing Crisis.

A Healing crisis is when the body eliminates toxins at a faster rate than
they can be properly disposed of. The more toxic one’s bodily systems are,
the more severe the detoxification will be. It is described by a temporary
increase in symptoms during the cleansing process which may be severe in my
brother’s case or you may just feel some mild discomfort. One may feel worse
and therefore conclude that the treatment is not working. But these reactions
are instead signs that the treatment is working and that your body is going
through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalance.
Most people feel somewhat ill during the first few days of the cleanse because
it is at that point that your body dumps toxins into the blood stream for elimination.
You could feel dizzy; have a headache, loose stool, strong smelling perspiration,
a runny nose and symptoms of a flu or cold if your detox is too strong.

In my case, my system was ready for a detox as my colon, liver and kidneys were
working well and I wasn’t pouring toxins back into my system daily. The 11 days
flew by and I only felt better each day.
Since those early days–a lot of studying and experimenting, I have found far more
genital ways to detox the body with the same great results without such a radical reaction.
There are three leaves of the detox program:

1. The Detox Kit- this homeopathic works on the colon, liver and kidneys and
should be done for 2 weeks stop for a week and resume for another week.
It’s mildly effective and little to no side effects even if you have been
abusing your body. The program includes a free booklet that explains the
entire kit and all of the details you will need.

http://www.energymedicineflorida.com/detox-kit.html

2. The Cord Restore Detox program –this 7-day program will target
your liver flushing out toxic overload from stress, anger and
overindulgence of toxins. The program includes a free booklet, a
hand mixer, detox fuels and a seven day supply of support supplements.

http://rechargingqigong.com/core-restore-detox-program.html

4.Two week in house Cleansing Program – I’ll need your body for this one
*Acupuncture detox treatment using advanced TCM techniques
*Lymphatic drainage with the Elf system Light Beam Generator
*Light Therapy to balance the emotions
*Herbal and Homeopathic detox formulas for the large intestine, kidneys and liver
* 20 minute Infrared detox sauna treatment

A good Detox program will improve your complexion and maintain a
healthy skin condition. It will assist your liver, colon and kidneys
to work more efficiently to provide you with the power to repair and
rebuild your internal organs. Detox is a key to health and longevity.

If you are wondering what’s the best detox program for you– feel free
to contact me at drwudhi@gmail.com or call my office at 305-466-1977 and
Anastasia will set up an appointment in person or by Skype and we will
come up with the best program for you.

The Yin & Yang Path to Longevity Practices

Monday, April 16th, 2012

The Yang aspect of the Yin and Yang symbol has to do
with Fire and the Heart.
Although the organs in traditional Chinese medicine
do not literally correspond to the anatomical organs
Instead, they are better understood in terms of the functions
they perform, which incorporate energetic,
emotional and spiritual aspects as well as physical.

The Heart is Often called the Emperor of the body,
the heart rules over blood circulation and vessels,
and controls sweating.
Shen, the mind or spirit, resides in the Heart,
and is responsible for mental processes, thinking, memory,
sleep and dreams.

Our heart is ruled by the element of fire.
Each organ in the body has a sense organ connected to it.
The Lungs open to the nose, The Spleen manifests on our lips,
The Kidneys have to do with our ears,
the Liver opens up to the eyes and the Hearts is associated
with our tongue.
If there are memory problems, insomnia, excessive dreaming,
forgetfulness or amnesia it is all to do with an unbalanced Heart.
The heart govern the mind not just the brain but also the whole
personality.

If our heart is functioning properly, the blood flows smoothly
and our personally is usually balanced.

When a patient comes into see me I always look at their tongue.
It shows pathologic changes in the heart.
If the tongue is pale there is a usually some deficiency in the body.
If I see a purple tongue it means there is blood stagnation
and a bright red tongue means there is too much heat in the body.
To be a good diagnostician one must learn how to observe
others and put the signs together.

There is a story about a professor who was teaching a group
of first year medical students the importance observation.

He passed out cups on the first day of class and instructed
the students to follow his instructions to the T.

Each student was told to go into the restroom and urinate
in the cup and return with the sample in hand.

They all followed his instructions and upon returning the professor,
again stressed the importance of good observation and instructed
them to follow closely.

The professor put his finger into the cup and very deliberately
stirred clockwise for 10 seconds, the students followed.

Then he stuck his finger in his mouth and the students all
followed. The professor said,
“The lesion here is to learn the importance of observation,
if you were paying close attention you would have
noticed that I was stirring the urine with my ring
finger and then I sucked my middle finger”.

“You can observe a lot just by watching.”
Yogi Berra

When I see a patient or work with a student the first thing
I do is observe their balance of Yin and Yang.
There needs to be a mutual support and communications
between the Yin and Yang.
If there is a disharmony:
“The heart and kidneys aren’t communicating”
And that means trouble.

The fire of the heart should warm the kidneys and the water
of the kidneys should irrigate and moisten the heart.
The kidney should cool the head and the heart should
warm the feet.

When the Fire and Water are in harmony they work together
the heart yang energy will nourish the kidneys and the
kidney yin energy will nourish the heart.

To make the most effective changes in your health or
longevity practices it takes both the patient and doctor
working together to bring the body/mind and spirit back
into balance and harmony.

That’s why prescriptive exercises are so very important;
it’s a way to keep your self-balanced.
The healing powers of the Recharging Qi Gong program
www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html
can pull one out of a multitude of health problems no
matter if it’s a disease that is affecting the body,
mind or spirit.
But you must practice.
It takes two wings to fly, one wing is the teaching that
I can coach you on,
but the other wing is the practice and that’s your part.
A bird doesn’t fly half as far with only one wind,
he just lies on the ground flapping around.
It takes two wings to fly and it takes both the teaching
and the practice to grow.

The Smart Way to Get Healthy and Stay Healthy

Friday, April 13th, 2012

Everyday I get a slue of questions
from students and patients about acupuncture and
meridian systems. For the most part, most people
are OK with my explanation of the meridians, but when
I start talking about the triple warmer, I can see peoples
eyes roll. So it’s time that I try to unmask what the
mysterious Triple Warmer is all about.

In China it’s called the San Jiao and controls water ways of the body.
The triple warmer has a name but no form. They say the (TW) implies
fire and fire is necessary to control the water in the body.
It controls the water and water movement, thus balancing the
water and heat in the body.

The triple heater connects with all of the other meridians,
it is the over structure laying over all specific organ functions.

They call it the Triple burner because there are three different parts.
The upper burner is in the area of the Lungs and the heart.
It comes in like a mist or a fog and it spreads out and fills in
things, it is in charge of nourishing the flesh, bones and joints
and it regulates the pores.

The middle burner is the stomach, spleen and intestines.
It corresponds to foam and has a churning effect. It is said to
be the part that cooks the grains and filters down wastes and residues.

The lower burner corresponds to the Kidneys, Urinary bladder and the
liver and is said to be like a swamp. It is responsible for separating
the clear from the murky and evacuates the waste materials.

According to Donna Eden, it is our primal survival system, it fights
off illness in our bodies and is also known as our flight or fight response.
Unfortunately, it has not evolved along with the changes in our society.
Keeping the triple warmer balanced is especially important because many
aspects of our modern way of life are registered as invaders by our
triple warmer causing it to fight. You know your triple warmer is
overloaded if you can’t ever relax, even after meditation, or if you
generally feel anxious all the time.

Because triple warmer is a survival function it can pull energy away from
other systems leading to immune disorders, stress, chronic fatigue
and many other uncomfortable emotions/actions.

Although it’s a little known meridian, I use it every day balancing out
health problems in young and old.
If you’re having a health issue and you haven’t been getting the results
you want from your treatments, contact me at 305-466-1977

alternative health care for years and there may just be a treatment for you
that can turn your health picture around 360 degrees.

health needs. We may be able to unravel hidden problems.

I am really excited about what is
going to happen in the first week of April!
Mercury goes direct April 2nd. This is the
time when everything will get rolling again and
I have been working hard to put things in order
so that when Mercury goes direct I will be able to
send you some new products for half the price with
an instant delivery time. I have been working on this
with my web master for the last few months and we are
just about to be done. Look for them in April!

I produced 3 very exciting products, one I learned
from a Polynesian Shaman. The other one is a
program for people with a common condition that
disturbs their sleep and mind. The third one I am
really excited about! – A healing technique that I
learned from a Taoist master and it’s part of the medical
Qi Gong system that I use every day as prescriptive exercises
for my patients. The most exciting thing about these
programs that I have never shared like this before is that
they are going to be available as instant downloads.
You order it and BOOM! Withinin 5 minutes you
will be doing the exercise.

I will be writing you more about these programs and
special reports, what they do, how they can help you

What goes Around Comes Around

This is an old story, but a good one
“His name was Fleming, and he was a
poor Scottish farmer. One day, while
working in his field, he heard a cry for
help coming from a nearby bog.
He dropped his shovel and ran
to the marshland.

There, stuck in black muck, was a
terrified boy, screaming and
struggling to free himself.
Farmer Fleming saved the lad
from what could have been a
slow and terrifying death.

The next day, an elegant carriage pulled
up to the Scotsman’s home. A smartly
dressed nobleman stepped out and
introduced himself as the father of
the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

‘I want to repay you,’ said the nobleman.
‘You saved my son’s life.’

‘No, I can’t accept payment for what I did,’
the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer.
At that moment, the farmer’s own son came to
the door of the family humble home.

‘Is that your son?’ the nobleman asked.
‘Yes,’ the farmer replied proudly.
‘I’ll make you an agreement. Let me provide
him with the level of education my own son
will enjoy.
If your son is anything like you, he’ll no doubt
grow to be a man we both will be proud of.’
And that he did.

Farmer Fleming’s son attended the very best
universities and in time, graduated from
Medical School, and went on to become
known throughout the world as the noted
Sir Alexander Fleming,
the discoverer of Penicillin.

Years afterward, the same nobleman’s
son who was saved from the bog was stricken
with pneumonia.
What saved his life this time? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .
His son’s name? Sir Winston Churchill.”

Someone once said: What goes around comes around.

“Work like you don’t need the money,
Love like your heart has never been broken,
and dance like no one is watching.”

If You Really want it You can Get It.

When I was just 17 years old
I met a girl and I fell head-over-
heals for her. At that time she was
just 15 and I couldn’t wait to take
her out on a date. So I borrowed my
Dads car and headed over to see
her and meet the parents. I guess
it was no surprise when her mother
said she wasn’t going anywhere with a
teenager with a car and raging hormones.
I was disappointed but there was no way
I was giving up.

It turned out that her mother was a Yoga
instructor and taught classes every week.
Although I didn’t have a clue what yoga
was at that time, I went to her classes and
said I loved it and wanted to come to more
classes. It was great! I sat as close to my
sweetie as I could possibility get and rolled,
stretched, bent over and laid with my eyes
closed and my heart beating for the entire class.
After I became a regular Yogie fan her
mother trusted us to go out and pick up
some dessert and bring it back to the family.
At last we had an hour alone.
I drove to the
restaurant as fast as I could go, pick up
the order, park in a dark street and make
out for ½ hour and drive back to her
parents’ house as quick as possible.
That was it! I was hooked on Yoga and
never missed a class. In fact I often
stopped over to ask her mother questions
about the practices and got to spend some
more time with my sweetie.

My entire body mind and spirit was focused
on being at their house and the yoga was
the key to unlocking what I wanted.
Doing a practice has rewards way beyond
our imagination. When I was a youngen it
didn’t matter what the motivation was.
I had a goal and nothing was going to
stand in my way.

That was a long time ago but the lesson
learned still applies today. If you want
something no matter how impossible it
may seem, if you are motivated in body,
mind and spirit- YOU WILL GET IT!
Over the last 40 or 50 years I have studied
many aspects of health, both Eastern and Western.
They include internal and external exercises,
many systems of yoga, meditation, Qi Gong,
Shen Gong and Nei Gong and many longevity
practices you may not be aware of that are
still practiced in Europe today.
These practices involve living life in a
responsible way and living life to its fullest
but integrating the reality of the world you
live in by taking a mindful look around you.
In Buddhism they have a formula to live life
to it’s fullest, it’s called:

The Noble Eightfold Path
1. Right View
2. Right Intention
3. Right Speech
4. Right Action
5. Right Livelihood
6. Right Effort
7. Right Mindfulness
8. Right Concentration

It is a practical guideline to ethical and
mental development with the goal of freeing
the individual from attachments and
delusions; and it finally leads to
understanding the truth about all things.
Great emphasis is put on the practical aspect,
because it is only through practice that one
can attain a higher level of being and
reach Enlightenment.

1. Right View
To see and to understand things as they
really are. Right view is the intellectual aspect
of wisdom. It means to see things through,
to grasp the impermanent and imperfect
nature of worldly objects and ideas, and to
understand the law of karma.

2. Right Intention
The mental energy that controls our actions,
it can be described best as commitment to
ethical and mental self-improvement.

3. Right Speech
Proper conduct is viewed as a guideline to
proper control of your life. The importance
of speech is obvious: words can break or
save lives, make enemies or friends,
start war or create peace.

4. Right Action
Healthy actions lead to sound states of mind.
Again, the principle is explained in terms of
abstinence: right action means

A. To abstain from harming any living being,
especially to abstain from taking life
(including suicide) and doing harm
intentionally or delinquently.

B. To abstain from taking what is not given,
which includes stealing, robbery, fraud,
deceitfulness, and dishonesty.

C. To abstain from sexual misconduct.
Positively formulated, right action means
to act kindly and compassionately, to be
honest, to respect the belongings of others,
and to keep sexual relationships harmless to others.

5. Right Livelihood
Right livelihood means that one should
earn one’s living in a righteous way and
that wealth should be gained legally and peacefully.

6. Right Effort
Without effort, which is in itself an act of
will, nothing can be achieved. Mental
energy is the force behind right effort.
The same type of energy that fuels desire,
envy, aggression, and violence can on the
other side fuel self-discipline, honesty,
benevolence, and kindness.

7. Right Mindfulness
It is the mental ability to see things as
they are, with clear consciousness.
Right mindfulness is anchored in clear
perception and it penetrates impressions
without getting carried away.

8. Right Concentration
Right Concentration on wholesome
thoughts and actions to develop the
right concentration is through the
practice of meditation. The meditating
mind focuses on a selected object, then
sustains concentration, and finally intensifies
concentration step by step.
Through this practice it becomes natural
to apply raised levels of concentration in
everyday situations.
