Chinese Healing Technique

images-2Saturday morning I drove to Fort Lauderdale,
Florida which is about an hour from my house to
learn the “Ba Gui Fa” system of healing and pick
up some CEU’s for my acupuncture license.

Although the first part of the day was all theory
it laid the foundation for practice and
application.

After lunch is when the fun started. We used a
combination of cupping and Gua Sha to relieve pain
and correct imbalances and clear the facial
tissue.

Although the cupping and Gua Sha (scraping of the
skin) shows up as redness and temporary marks,
they dissipate within a few days and for the most
part take care of the pain and stagnation action
in the muscle. If you look at someone’s back after
treatment you would think they got in a fight or
had road rush up and down their back. A few years
ago I worked on 2 children to clear up a lingering
cough. When they went back to school the teacher
called childhood services because she thought
there was some abusiveness going on at home.

When I was in China you would see people walking
with red round marks and red spots all over their
bodies. The treatments usually removes blood
stagnation considered pathogenic, promoting normal
circulation and metabolic processes. The patient
experiences immediate relief from pain, stiffness,
fever, chill, cough, nausea and so on. Gua Sha is
valuable in the prevention and treatment of acute
infectious illness, upper respiratory and
digestive problems, and many other acute or
chronic disorders.

I have been doing both cupping and Gua Sha in my
office for the last 20 years with great success.
When I was studying with Jerry Alan Johnson he
showed us how to combine the treatment with
medical Qi Gong and now I have discovered how
effective it is with Gua Sha as well.

I use it to clear up stubborn coughs, colds, pain,
and asthma. It even works well for knee pain, sore
shoulders and neck pain as well as stomach
problems. Treatments like this have no side
effects and work like magic to clear up stubborn
problems in no time at all.
Once the problem is resolved I teach the person
how to keep the Qi and blood flowing so the
problem doesn’t return. I always know if the
person is practicing or not by the amount of
treatments they need. If I am working on them and
the patients isn’t the healing process takes twice
as long.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

How do you train without a trainer?

The weather in South Florida is great. At this
time of the year it’s usually hot and humid but so
far it is in the 50’s and 60’s and the perfect
weather to train. I have been getting up earlier
and spending a few hours practicing Qi Gong every
morning and I can feel the difference! The key is
consistency; you want to train every day to build
in a “BODY MEMORY”

Our body’s nervous system sends a message to the
muscles to take action; the results can be
positive or negative. When it is impossible to act
on the message for whatever reason, the body’s
next reaction is to freeze.
Tension in the body creates areas of hardness,
pain, constriction and decreases the range of
motion. Over a long period of time, the body
adjusts to this tension, and symptoms of disease,
disorder and illness begin. Many times, symptoms
begin after an emotionally traumatic event. Anger,
sorrow, grief, joy and fear, which are stored
because of the freeze response, begin to manifest
as symptoms of imbalance in the body we actually
have a “BODY MEMORY” that holds all of this in
place.

In his book, Waking the Tiger, Psychologist Dr.
Peter Levine, describes how humans can remain in
the freeze response long after the threatening or
overwhelming experience has passed, which is why
many people remain ill, despite medical or
pharmaceutical intervention, professional therapy,
exercise and smart lifestyle choices. Most modern
medical techniques are incapable of releasing the
freeze response because it maintains muscle
guarding, even during sleep. We are constantly
over stimulated by both internal and external
forces, and difficult cases may not respond to
therapy, due to tension in the body’s tissue
systems as well as energetically and spiritually.
Such cases may have a history of sexual abuse,
violence, post-traumatic stress disorder, past
traumatic events, depression, anxiety, digestive
problems, headaches, migratory bodily pain,
accidents and surgical trauma. These symptoms can
all be effectively treated and eliminated.

Back in the late 70’s I worked with a group of
Doctors/Healers/Shamans and Individuals dedicated
to longevity, of course we were in California.
A brilliant teacher “Larry Short”, who was light
years a head of his time created a system called
“Total Person images” where we combined a
unique recipe of performance consisting of NLP,
applied kinesiology, deep tissue work, to free the
body of these traumas as well as guided fantasy,
body reading, bone and joint mobilization,
corrective exercises, homeopathic medicine,
meditations and much, much more. Even today the
system would blow you away. In these techniques,
we learned not only how to clear the body of past
traumas; we learned how to build in the muscle
memory to give you optimal performance of
body/mind and spirit.

Our goal was and is Longevity and Awareness. Over
the past 40 years I have worked with this system
adding my own personal touch, as well as another
25 years of experience of Chinese Medicine and
Medical Qi Gong to create a system of Anti Aging.
Dr. Wu Dhi’s private coaching program is a one on
one coaching program.

Increase your Power and Energy

We have all heard of the placebo effect.
“It is the measurable, observable, or felt
improvement in health or behavior not attributable
to a medication or invasive treatment that has
been administered. The placebo effect is not mind
over matter; it is not mind-body medicine. ‘The
placebo effect’ has become a catchall term for a
positive change in health.”

In a medical study, researchers will give half of
the group real medicine and the other half a sugar
pill. The sugar pill is considered to be placebo
and more than half of the time the person
receiving the sugar pill gets better, thats more
than just the power of suggestion. It is believing
that something will work, so it works! This is
true in many medical studies but when it comes to
Qi Gong, you need to practice.

I have been doing Qi Gong for the last 30 years
and I have no illness, no sore muscles, no
digestive problems and my sexual activity is as
good as ever. The other day I went on a film shoot
to demonstrate some Qi Gong and mediation
exercises with 2 professional photographers. They
are both 1/3 my age. I did exercises, stretches,
meditations and much more. We shot all day at
to 5 different locations all over South Beach and
we finally ended up in the Wynnewood area, one of
the hot spots for lifestyles, art and cool
restaurants in Miami.

Even though they are much younger than me, the 2
photographers were exhausted! Yet my energy was
still peaking! They said, “we had enough!” and my
energy was buzzing for hours. Went I returned home I wrote a blog, took a sauna, meditated and got to bed around 11
o’clock.
My usual day starts at 6 a.m. with
meditation, exercise and breakfast. I’m in the
office till 7 at night and I am full of energy all
the time! It’s no placebo and it’s not in my head
but it’s the nature of what the internal exercises
can do for you if you practice daily. Internal exercises,
stimulates the body, mind and spirit. It opens up
the meridians, the chakras and strengthens your
sexual energy.

In 2006 I put together a program of 36 of the most
powerful exercises to rewire our systems. It’s
called the Recharging Qi Gong. It consists of a
book, a guided practice DVD, an instructional
training DVD,
5 CD’s on:
1. Sexual Vitality
2. Internal secrets of Qi Gong
3. Compassion, the path to Mental Well-being
4. The Spiritual keys to Qi Gong
5. The 5 Elements of Transformational Power

Being Cheap can cost you Big Bucks

Tuesday, May 8th, 2012

We all love a good deal, but going cheap
at the expense of your health, is just plain stupid.

The old saying penny wise and pound-foolish has
more truth in it than you could imagine.

Here are 6 of the most penny-pinching
things that you should never do.

1. Eating Fast food for the most part
may seem cheap in the moment but in
the long run you will just be mounting up big
health bills later. Digestive problems, ulcers,
blocked arties are just a few of the things that can
go wrong by eating the wrong foods.

“Cheap people care about the cost of something;
frugal people care about the value of something.”

2. Avoid seeing your dentists for
years can cost you your teeth, gum problems
bad breath and even heart problems.
You may think you are saving money or don’t
have the money but take care of your
teeth they will soon be gone.

3. White bread should
be avoided like the plague.

The whiter the bread,
the quicker you’re dead!” – old saying.

White bread is a main stay of most people’s diets.
Believe it or not, eating white bread is bad for you!
If you want to improve your health, lose some weight
and avoid the possibility of ending up with all types of
diabetes, then white bread will have to go.

4. Freezing to death during the winter to keep the
thermostat low is just a bad idea. Although you may be
saving on the front end, your body has to work hard to
generate enough heat to keep you alert and healthy.
If you are alert you can come up with more creative
ideas and balance out your income.

5. Neglecting the basic maintenance needed on your
home and car will only end up costing you more money
down the road. House upkeep, such as changing furnace
filters, cleaning out the chimney, cleaning out the gutter,
even keeping up with landscaping, is not something you
should neglect. Neither is changing the oil and checking the
fluids on your car. Lack of maintenance inevitably leads to something
big breaking and that will cost you a lot more to repair than it would
have cost to make small, ongoing investments in regular maintenance.

6. Your retirement fund needs the years it has until your
retirement to build, and when you take it out early, you’re
costing yourself a huge amount that you’ll definitely wish you
had later. Solve your urgent problems with a little creativity.

• Pick up a side job or do some freelance work.
To make cash in today’s world you have to be more creative than ever.
I have my medical practice, my Internet business and teach classes and
I am always keeping my eyes open to new opportunities.
Always keep your finger in the pie and you’ll be happier, and wealthier.

• Sell some of your belongings that you don’t need.

• Stop (or cut down on) eating out and buying coffee or soda.

• Look for ways to cut costs in your regular expenses,
such as dropping/reducing your cable and cell phone plans.
But don’t cheat yourself out of retirement money!

Don’t be cheap especially with yourself and family.
Look for ways to be more creative and bring more health into your life.
I have known people who never do anything about their
health until it’s far too late, they are the type that think they
are saving or that they don’t have enough to take care of their
health so they wait and wait and then they freak out when they
are sick and say they will pay anything to get their health back
and it’s usually too late. Yet they never did a damn thing to stay healthy.

Don’t let this happen to you.
Start taking all unhealthy foods out of your diet.
Start loving your self.
Get on a regular exercise program and Stay well hydrated.

These are a few of the keys to Health, Wealth and Happiness
Don’t be cheap with the things in life that really pay.

Get the anti stress solution today and add more value into your life!

A Stressful Situation

Friday, December 16th, 2011

How close are we really connected to each other?
Friday evening when the moon
was just about at its peak hours,
before the last lunar eclipse of 2011,
Anastasia’s little brother got into a bad
car accident and totaled the family car.

This was devastating to her family but the
ripples that it caused were enormous.
First of all it left the family with out a car and
extra expenses just before the holidays.
You can imagine that it is now much harder to get to work,
school and do the daily tasks for the whole family.

But here’s how the rippling effect
moved through the community:
Anastasia’s mother was an emotional wreck,
as she thought she may have lost her son,
the grandparents where shook up and Anastasia
was an emotional mess as well. The boy’s boss
had to work overtime and rearrange the schedules
of all of his other employees to cover for the time
he was in the hospital and his recovery.
School had to be put on hold during finals;
Anastasia had to leave work and had a hard
time being on time as the family transportation
was destroyed. Her boy friend was worried and
had digestive problems for the entire weekend
and her employer had to find extra help for the
holidays and the little brother went into a deep depression.

This is common in families when something goes a fluke.
It may happen in your life or in the lives of people you know.
It is part of life and lessons that we all have to learn
for our growth if we like it or not. We would all like
to be able to avoid such things as pain and suffering
but it is part of being a human and living on planet earth.
These lessons can drag you down or you can use the
energy of the moment to transform your life and
when dropped in a pile of manure, you come
out smelling like a rose.

You can change your stops into steps in a few
minutes and pull your self out of the muck and
mire by following these rules:

• Be grateful for what you have.

• Know that nothing is ever taken from you without
being replaced on a higher level.

• You can not attract more than you can handle

• Don’t allow anyone to lay a trip on you

I call these the rules of the game.
When you can live by these rules,
stress will not be an issue.
They are all in my book, “Turn Stress into Power”
The book is filled with meditations, exercises,
protections and stress relievers to keep you in
tip top shape no matter what happens in your life.
People have described the program as a way to steer
your life back into calm waters no matter how
big the storm gets.

Right now you can get the book and DVD sent to

Need More Energy?

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011
Share

We all want to increase our energy levels.
Here is my formula that works like a charm.

First let’s look at what is the biggest
energy sucker.
The thief that steals your energy the most
and leaves you exhausted.

STRESS!

Stress can cause a multitude of problems like:
Pain of any kind
Heart disease
Digestive problems
Sleep problems
Depression
Obesity
Auto immune diseases
Skin conditions, such as eczema

Stress has dramatic effects on energy
and can turn your world upside down.
The medical treatment people always suggest
is that you reduce your stress as much as possible,
an easy statement to make but harder to deliver
unless you have the proper education and training.

Here are 6 formulas to transform
stress into personal
power,regain and rebuild your Energy.

1.Start by identifying the things that stress you
out; this is the first step towards eliminating
them.

Make a list to start changing and eliminating
these energy suckers.

*What re-occurring things stress you out?
*Which people and what activities
cause stress in your life?
*What foods seem to give you more stress?

See which of them can be eliminated,
changed or do less of them.
Make a plan on what you will do daily in order
to keep yourself fit, mentally, physically,
and spiritually and follow it.
Discipline your monkey mind to follow your
chosen de-stressor health program.
This will start to release blocked energy
and increase your energy.

Follow the exercises and meditations in the
www.TurnStressintopower.com program.
It can be your guide.

2.Choose Energy Producing Foods
If you just got a new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster,
you would not put the cheapest gas in it,
would you? You’d put in the best you could find.

Your body is the same so don’t fill it up on
cheap food.
I haven’t been into a fast food restaurant
in 25 years and all my parts still run like
a fine tuned machine.
If you treat your body as a temple
by keeping it clean and offer it only the best
foods,it will work years with no break downs
and will have incredible power.

But as the saying goes, “if you put Junk
in you will only get Junk out!”
It’s important to pay attention
to the timing of when you eat, and what you eat.
This is a major factor in your energy levels.

Never skip breakfast! Your body needs good
clean fuel to run properly.

I eat as soon as I finish my morning workout.
I usually drink a protein drink in the morning
to get going if I don’t have time to sit down
and have a meal.
It has 18 grams of protein in it and
all the amino acids. I’ll just add 1 scoop of
“Greens First” to the mix to get all my
fruits and veggies.
Sugar filled cereals are not fuel;
they burn too quickly and leave you flat in
no time. Poached eggs are a good choice because
they are low in fat, high in protein and
will keep your energy up.
Our bodies thrive on variety, so mix it up
fruit one day, eggs the next and power protein
drink a few days a week.
Skip the high fat desserts after dinner–
this will drain your energy and make you fat.

3. Exercise regularly,
but make sure you are doing the right exercises.
I find that a Qi Gong workout will
give you much more energy in the
long run than running or heavy
weight lifting. Those exercises can
cause injury too often. If I lift I
do light weights and instead of running,
I’ll do walking and short fast sprints.
Qi Gong will increase your internal power
and charge up your batteries.

That’s why I put together the
Recharging Qi Gong program www.rechargingqigong.com.
It will increase your energy and Qi flow.

You will see that within one month you will
boost your energy ten fold and keep yourself
healthy on every level.

I usually do my practice of the
Flying Crane Qi Gong at sunset www.Flyingcraneqigong.com.
This will chill you out with real mellow energy.
I have found that it gives one much better sleep,
better dreams and puts you in a meditative state
very easily. The more consistent you become,
the more energy you will have.

4. Shut the Boob tube off!
It’s a giant energy sucker.
If you’re a TV junkie, wake up
because it’s addicting just like hard drugs.
Switch it off by 9 O’ clock because it
will steal your energy for sure!
Also, watch out for your computer as well,
it has energy sucking qualities that can
sneak up on you and drain your juice as well.

These brain drains keep your brain stimulated
late into the evening and will rob you of a restful
sleep and important dream time.
A far more beneficial way to unwind is to read,
listen to classical music and meditate and your
brain will thank you!

If my mind is racing at night, I’ll take
a walk before bed. This will relax you and
increase your energy.

5. Make your bedroom as dark as possible.
The darker your bedroom is the better you will sleep.
Use your bed for sleep and sex that’s it.
If you have other activities you need to do,
do it somewhere else except your sleeping quarters.
These changes will ensure you a
restful sleep and much more productive days.

6. Complete your projects
Every project you have is filled with energy.
The quicker you complete them the more energy
you will get.
They are like little treasure chests but
in order to get the treasure you need to complete
the task. The more tasks you complete the more
energy you will get. But on the other hand if
you have unfinished projects, they drain your
energy until they are finished. So make a list
of all your current projects, what needs to be
done and get going.
As you complete them you see your energy levels
go higher and higher.

Having more energy will change
many aspects of your life and
your thinking. All it takes is the
strong decision to make a change.
You’ll be glad you made these simple changes;
they will improve the quality of your life
and increase your energy.

In The Turn stress into Power program
www.Turnstressintopower.com, you will find
a series of exercises and meditations to
calm your mind and allow you to unwind before bed.
“The Tension Release Exercise” featured in the
program will give you a step by step process to
clear your mind of useless physic tension and clear
your energy pathways.
This will give you a sounder sleep
and you will wake refreshed and full of energy.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness.
