The Mini Cooper blues

The Mini Cooper blues

Last week I bought a 2011 Mini Cooper with a turbo
charged engine and I was buzzing around town in my
cool new car. Well guess what happened?

A few days ago when I started the car, it putt, putt and
then it died. I was shocked! I only had it for a
few days and it was broken already. I called the
dealer and they said to bring it in. So I took off
all morning and drove to the Mini cooper dealer. The
service manager took the car within 5 minutes,
checked it out with a computer and told me it was
just a mis-fire. He suggested put an additive in
the gas and it would be fine. I followed his
suggestion and all was good again. Well this
morning I jumped into the car to head to the
office and guess what? It did it again. I was
pissed!

I canceled all my morning patients and drove back
to the dealer. I spoke to the manager of the pre
owned cars and told him I wanted my money back or
a different car. He looked at me like I was some
kind of a nut job and said, that’s now your car
and we will do all we can to fix it , but it’s not
our responsibility.

I just about hit the roof when
he said that, but I held it together and let him
take the car into service. While I was waiting I
stopped to see the credit manager and asked him
how all the paper work was going and he said it
was still on his desk. Interesting, as long as I
was stuck at the dealer I was looking at the new
cars and I happened to find a 2013 brand spanking
new Mini Cooper for just about the same price. I
couldn’t believe it. So I marched into the owner’s
office and told him how disappointed I was in the
manager’s lack of customer care. I also pointed
out that 2 of the bolts that hold on the back tire
were missing and the pre owned people assured me
the certified pre owned Mini was gone through with
a find toothcomb. Well they lied. I really don’t
know much about cars or engines, but I do know
when a car is missing a screw in the wheel. I got
my point across and they told me to go make a deal
with the new car guy and bring it over to him for
approval. I did and he gave me the same price that
I paid for the 2011. Some times it pays off to
complain when things are not done right. We should
be complaining about the GMO products to our
government.

1. GMO’s are not labeled. Why? Because we wouldn’t buy it!

2. Monsanto Company is not being straight with
people. They are lying and thinking of profit not
health, at least not yours or mine.

The reason I always remind people to practice all
the time is Qi Gong keeps the movement of Qi
flowing and blood flow of Qi. If we have a good
blood flow we will have more oxygen cells, little
chance of blocked arties and you will cut your
chance of heart disease down by 75%. This is why
they refer to Qi Gong as a longevity practice.

If you aren’t practicing longevity, what the heck
are you doing?

Don’t be one of those people in years to come, who
is in pain with poor eye site, shortness of breath
and digestive problems saying that, “If I knew I
was going to live this long I would have taken
better care of myself.”

Start taking care of yourself today! The Federal
government, our state government and our city is
not looking out for you. The lobbyists for sure
are not taking care of you. You must be the one
who takes responsibility for yourself and that is
especially your health.

If you are ready to make a total transformation in
how you operate, contact me and let’s dance the
dance of health, longevity and anti aging
together. I practice what I preach.

What choices will you make this year?

What choices will you make this year?

Just last night, I received a call from Bryan
who lives in Northern California.
He has been wrestling with a multitude of problems
such as health, self-confidence, sexuality, money
and lack of knowledge on how to get out of the deep
hole he’s dug for himself.

Every time I suggested something he answered
with a phrase that blocked any positive input he said,
“Yes But” as if it were the cream in his coffee.
This went on until I had to stop the conversation
and point out that his “Yes BUT” answer was in the way
of making any movement and keeping him in the rut.

“Yes But” is a Killer Phrases that destroys ones
creative potential. I asked him if he was ready
to transform “Yes, But…” into “Yes, and…” and
ideas into reality!
Bryan’s self talk was blocking him on every level.
He was stuck knee deep in his own muck.
What ever you think about the most
is what you’ll bring into your life.

It makes no difference if it’s good or bad.
What ever you think about, say and talk about the
most often is what you will get… If you say,
“it’s going to be a bad day.” Guess what? It is!
On the other hand if you declare,
“it’s going to be a great day,
” it’ll be Great!

Brian wanted to tell me how his situation
blocked everything in his life. He went on
to tell me again, and again, and again that he had a
dysfunctional family. He doesn’t have any money or a job,
and he made sure that I knew that as he repeated it to me
3 or 4 times in the conversation.

“Many people are in a rut and a rut is nothing but a grave –
with both ends kicked out.”
Vance Havner quotes

I am 99 and 44/100% sure that the universe was listening
to his every word and following his instructions to the Tee.
He said, “I’ve been with depression and anxiety for as long
as I can remember. I’d say since about the age of 11 or 12,
and it’s only getting worse.” What he is really doing is
reinforcing his stuck situation and allowing the same dark
cloud to stay right over his head.

Self-talk can be the # 1 jamming process you do to yourself
or the it can be the key to having everything you want.
Over the past 25 years I have been teaching, coaching and
mentoring both individuals and groups on how to make
positive changes. It’s more than possible to
re-program oneself, and when you work with a coach
you can eliminate falling back into old patterns. You
make advancements quicker and have an objective
person moving you into what you want to be.

A coach can help pull you out of that rut.
No matter if it’s your health issues mentally,
physically, spiritually, or getting back on
purpose of reaching your true wants, needs
and desires. When we work one- on- one
there are major shifts that can happen
in ones life. A stronger bond is created
and a personal connection is established,
even if you are on the other side of the world.

Every month we have a personal Skype call, and go over
practices together. The goals to be accomplished and we
adjust them for maximum success; we look at where we are now,
where we want to go and how to do it… I have been working with
people outside of the box using meditation practices
and internal exercises like Qi Gong, Nei Gong and Shen Gong to
customize personal growth and health.

Your life can be easer and more powerful when you
can work at strategies with a teacher who comes
from a totally different tradition than most coaches.
Your choices may range from profound to trivial,
and each one has an effect that makes your life more fulfilling
or less fulfilling, more balanced or less balanced, that makes your
process of living more effective or less effective.
Coaching helps you learn how to make choices that
create an effective, balanced and fulfilling life.

As we work together we will connect your body,
head and your heart to help transform your hunger
for your dreams into action for your life. Take this
test and get a snap shot and see if the coaching
program is for you!

When Life throws you a Curve Ball

Everything was going just find today, I walked down to the beach before
daybreak to start my meditation and trained. It was around 6: O’clock and
everything was beautiful quite and still.

I practiced for a little over an hour and then headed to breakfast.
Now that’s a great way to start your day. By 8:00 am
I was home showered, dressed, relaxed and ready to start my day.

I got to the office and that’s when the she -it hit the fan.
Anastasia is in her last days of school.
In fact this Saturday she graduates from Miami-Dade Honor collage
and Top of Her Class.

Congratulations!

Little did I know that I was totally booked with patient,
appointments and everyone had an emergency of some sort
or another.

I even had a few new people walk in at the end of the day in major
neck pain going on, I guess when your busy you just get busier.

Around the busiest time of the day Anastasia received a call
from her classmate and much to her surprise and mind she was
told that they had switched her meeting from Saturday to today
and she had to go to school to finish her last project.
I was really not too happy that she was leaving last minute in the middle
of the workday.

But sometimes in life these unexpected things happen and
you just have to handle them like it or not.

Now if I didn’t start my day with the calm relaxing meditation
and training. I could have really stressed myself out and been
the one with the sore neck.

The morning training and meditation are one of the best ways to
protect you from STRESS.

and change your stress into power. www.Turnstressintopower.com

If You Really want it You can Get It.

When I was just 17 years old
I met a girl and I fell head-over-
heals for her. At that time she was
just 15 and I couldn’t wait to take
her out on a date. So I borrowed my
Dads car and headed over to see
her and meet the parents. I guess
it was no surprise when her mother
said she wasn’t going anywhere with a
teenager with a car and raging hormones.
I was disappointed but there was no way
I was giving up.

It turned out that her mother was a Yoga
instructor and taught classes every week.
Although I didn’t have a clue what yoga
was at that time, I went to her classes and
said I loved it and wanted to come to more
classes. It was great! I sat as close to my
sweetie as I could possibility get and rolled,
stretched, bent over and laid with my eyes
closed and my heart beating for the entire class.
After I became a regular Yogie fan her
mother trusted us to go out and pick up
some dessert and bring it back to the family.
At last we had an hour alone.
I drove to the
restaurant as fast as I could go, pick up
the order, park in a dark street and make
out for ½ hour and drive back to her
parents’ house as quick as possible.
That was it! I was hooked on Yoga and
never missed a class. In fact I often
stopped over to ask her mother questions
about the practices and got to spend some
more time with my sweetie.

My entire body mind and spirit was focused
on being at their house and the yoga was
the key to unlocking what I wanted.
Doing a practice has rewards way beyond
our imagination. When I was a youngen it
didn’t matter what the motivation was.
I had a goal and nothing was going to
stand in my way.

That was a long time ago but the lesson
learned still applies today. If you want
something no matter how impossible it
may seem, if you are motivated in body,
mind and spirit- YOU WILL GET IT!
Over the last 40 or 50 years I have studied
many aspects of health, both Eastern and Western.
They include internal and external exercises,
many systems of yoga, meditation, Qi Gong,
Shen Gong and Nei Gong and many longevity
practices you may not be aware of that are
still practiced in Europe today.
These practices involve living life in a
responsible way and living life to its fullest
but integrating the reality of the world you
live in by taking a mindful look around you.
In Buddhism they have a formula to live life
to it’s fullest, it’s called:

The Noble Eightfold Path
1. Right View
2. Right Intention
3. Right Speech
4. Right Action
5. Right Livelihood
6. Right Effort
7. Right Mindfulness
8. Right Concentration

It is a practical guideline to ethical and
mental development with the goal of freeing
the individual from attachments and
delusions; and it finally leads to
understanding the truth about all things.
Great emphasis is put on the practical aspect,
because it is only through practice that one
can attain a higher level of being and
reach Enlightenment.

1. Right View
To see and to understand things as they
really are. Right view is the intellectual aspect
of wisdom. It means to see things through,
to grasp the impermanent and imperfect
nature of worldly objects and ideas, and to
understand the law of karma.

2. Right Intention
The mental energy that controls our actions,
it can be described best as commitment to
ethical and mental self-improvement.

3. Right Speech
Proper conduct is viewed as a guideline to
proper control of your life. The importance
of speech is obvious: words can break or
save lives, make enemies or friends,
start war or create peace.

4. Right Action
Healthy actions lead to sound states of mind.
Again, the principle is explained in terms of
abstinence: right action means

A. To abstain from harming any living being,
especially to abstain from taking life
(including suicide) and doing harm
intentionally or delinquently.

B. To abstain from taking what is not given,
which includes stealing, robbery, fraud,
deceitfulness, and dishonesty.

C. To abstain from sexual misconduct.
Positively formulated, right action means
to act kindly and compassionately, to be
honest, to respect the belongings of others,
and to keep sexual relationships harmless to others.

5. Right Livelihood
Right livelihood means that one should
earn one’s living in a righteous way and
that wealth should be gained legally and peacefully.

6. Right Effort
Without effort, which is in itself an act of
will, nothing can be achieved. Mental
energy is the force behind right effort.
The same type of energy that fuels desire,
envy, aggression, and violence can on the
other side fuel self-discipline, honesty,
benevolence, and kindness.

7. Right Mindfulness
It is the mental ability to see things as
they are, with clear consciousness.
Right mindfulness is anchored in clear
perception and it penetrates impressions
without getting carried away.

8. Right Concentration
Right Concentration on wholesome
thoughts and actions to develop the
right concentration is through the
practice of meditation. The meditating
mind focuses on a selected object, then
sustains concentration, and finally intensifies
concentration step by step.
Through this practice it becomes natural
to apply raised levels of concentration in
everyday situations.
