Important Longevity Program

Now that it’s autumn, you’ll start to feel new
things in the air and in your body. It’s time to
start changing a few things in your longevity program. As
the season changes, it is important to adjust and
fine-tune your exercise, your diet, sleep and your
meditations. I’ll explain more as we go on…

longevity

Longevity and ancient Qigong practice for good health and a long life

I walked to my new training spot on the beach in
Hollywood early this morning.
You can feel fall wherever you live. When I lived
in Michigan and walked in the woods, I would know
there was a shift. I remember feeling the chill of
autumn at this time of the year. Golden leaves lay
scattered on the ground. The smell of dry, burning
leaves filled my nostrils. It’s amazing how
quickly we descend from the warmth of summer to
the chill of fall. The nights are longer than the
days, there is more energy leaving the earth’s
atmosphere than entering it. If you are quiet
enough inside, you will feel the shift, the smells
are different and, if you watch the animals in
your surroundings, you’ll see their behavior has
changed.

We have moved into the season of the Metal energy
where Autumn cleans out old negativity. Fall is
the season when we learn more about ourselves than
in any other season. Now that the harvest of late
summer is over, nature now makes everything bare.
The growing season is over, and it is time to turn
inward and let go of things that hinder your
growth. The energy of fall dropping the old, just
like the trees drop their leaves at this time of
the year.

In Chinese medicine, Autumn is the season of the
Metal element. Sadness and grief are the emotions
of the Metal element. We all experience loss,
separation, and the need to let go, and it’s
natural to feel the grief at these times. Grief
cleanses us of what is no longer needed in our
lives. The large intestines is the organ of the
Metal element. It has the function of eliminating
what is unnecessary or toxic from our system, both
physically and mentally. On the other hand, valor
and courage are the positive themes of the season.
Start moving forward with your projects and be
inspired to get things going. The lungs and large
intestines work together as a team, one taking in
the pure Qi, the other eliminating toxic wastes.
If there is a blockage in your system, you may
experience symptoms of bronchitis, shortness of
breath, cough, allergies, nasal congestion, colds,
sore throat, constipation or diarrhea, and
abdominal pain.

The Metal element is at its peak now, and we are
particularly open to treatment. Using the wisdom
of Chinese medicine, we can rebuild the Metal
within us physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Now is the time to contain yourself, speak only
when necessary, true and kind, behaving with
economy, and exerting your will quietly and
calmly. To get in harmony with the autumn season,
go through your closet, desk, garage, medicine
cabinet, or any cluttered storage area, and
discard what you no longer need. Diet should
include more squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and
root veggies. Go to sleep earlier and wake up a
little later. As for your internal exercises and
meditations, it is now time to join the Qi Gong
Inner Circle http://goo.gl/BhkK3x and learn the
Fall longevity secrets.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and
Happiness!

Health Care that Will Keep you Healthy

Health Care that Will Keep you Healthy

In Chinese medicine, acupuncture and meridians are
used to diagnose and treat patients. For instance,
we use the pulses on both hands to determine what
is going on with the Chi of the organs, and look
at the tongue to determine what is out of balance.
These techniques are still used and taught to
students all over the world. Whether you believe
in Chinese medicine or not, it is worth taking a
look into on a deeper level. You may be asking
yourself, “Why would I do that when modern
medicine has far surpassed a system that is
thousands of years old?”

Here’s why…

Our modern system of medicine is driven by the
drug companies, and most drug companies have
stocks driven by money…BIG money. The stockholders
are in the market for one reason – to make MONEY!
Big Pharma gives millions to schools, clinics, and
lobbyists to keep them in control. There is more
sickness in the USA at this time, and we are using
more drugs than any other nation in the world.
This should immediately pop up a red flag in your
mind. What’s wrong with this picture?

On the other hand, Chinese medicine isn’t driven
by money at all. Its main purpose is about
people’s health and well-being. It is not
advertised on TV and, yet, it is the most used
treatment in the world. Is Chinese medicine the
cat’s pajama? NO! Western medicine has a lot to
offer and so do many other systems. When I studied
with Dr. Thomas Rau at the Paracelsus Clinic in
Switzerland, they used many different modalities –
alchemy, Western, homeopathic, naturopathic,
anthroposophical, and Ayurveda medicine.
Treatments, such as infusions of vitamin C, ozone
colonics, massage, nutrition, low-dose medicine,
neural and segment therapy, acupuncture, and
dentistry, are all used over a 3-week stay at the
clinic. When I was there, I received 6 treatments
from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM, stopped for lunch, and
started again until 7:00 at night. It was like
putting my body under a microscope. I was
impressed! Unfortunately, these types of treatment
don’t exist in the USA as bureaucracy and big
Pharma control us. But if you look hard enough,
you may be able to find a few clinics in the
States that can steer you in the right direction.

If you are going through a life-threatening
disorder, contact me at 305-407-0120. I may be
able to direct you to the right place.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and
Happiness!

The 2013 Anti-Aging Conference

Friday, December 20th, 2013
Share

I just loved the entire concept of being at the
21st World Congress for Anti-Aging for my
birthday. This was a great way to start a new year
and a good affirmation to staying young. The
astrologers that I know say that every 2 hours on
the day of your birthday will be an indicator of
what your coming year will be like.

Here is an example:

I got up at 6 in the morning and did my meditation
and internal practices, so theoretically the month
of December should involve a lot more meditation
and internal practices. I am at the longevity
congress so the theme that I set for this year
will all be an indication of every month of the
coming year and I plan to do everything I can to
stay young and healthy and without a doubt I will
be sharing all these discoveries with you.

The conference had some of the top researchers in
world on anti-aging plus some famous people that
we all know; Susan Summers, Governor IMG_5545and a large group of martial arts
movie stars.

I had a chance to personally speak to Don (the
Dragon) Wilson. He is Don “The Dragon” Wilson-
considered the greatest kickboxing champion in the
sport’s history. Don is a native of South Florida,
he won 11 world kickboxing championships, and you
may remember him from the Batman forever movie or
if you are a martial arts fan he has been in a
host of movies. He doesn’t fight anymore but is
still in the movies and he said that his main
focus these days is “HEALTH and LONGEVITY”

Yes we are all interested in health and anti-aging
and the older we get the more interesting it gets.
This is nothing new to me. I have been interested
in Longevity since I was in my twenties. That may
sound strange to you or maybe you thought I was
trying to overcome some disease, but that wasn’t
the case. I got interested in the idea from my
martial arts practices and the teachers I had.

My goals were to be healthy in body, healthy in
mind and to be stronger physically, sexually and
aware spiritually. You will be hearing a lot more
from me this year and the years to come about
anti-aging and longevity. Ways to keep you disease
free, meditations, techniques and ways to keep
yourself stress free, as well as what vitamins to
take, what foods to eat and what to avoid.

And let’s not forget about the internal exercises
that will keep you balanced and disease free. I
personally wake up early every morning long before
the sun comes up and start my practices. I highly
suggest you do the same. Set your goals and put
together a program that will give you the maximum
amount of energy for your efforts. I tell all my
students to pick up a copy of the of the Magic

Using Signs and Events to See Your Future

phsyic If your toilet backs up and your
house or office stinks, there is a good chance
that something or someone is really off base and
should be removed as soon as possible. I’ve heard
that if a bird poops on your head it’s good luck,
however, I don’t believe that for one second, it
stinks.

Just the other day, I was home writing and editing
a DVD that I was producing on the Shen set to open
up the spiritual centers. The exercises involve a
lot of leg strength as well as the working of the
three inner locks. The sex lock, the diaphragm
lock and the neck lock. These secret yoga
exercises are part of the longevity practices that
only a few students ever see and fe w get to learn
or practice, ones my guru past them down to me
years ago.

I stayed home that day and wrote and practiced for
hours, it was a good day. I had a patient to see
at my office around 5:30 in the afternoon, and
when I left my house it was a few minutes after 5
O’clock and I arrived at my office right on time.
I took the elevator to the second floor and my
assistant ran up to see me before I came inside
and explained that there was a flood in the
bathroom and the office. She said, “It was a
mess, the plumber was here and just finished at
4:30. It was a stinking mess for a few hours and I
should be thankful that I missed the disaster and
the smell. We got it all cleaned up before you
came.” I was happy to hear I missed the entire
stinking event.

Now that the mess was cleaned up, we have to look
into what the internal problems are in the office.
Is it the new people who draw blood and take
fingerprints? Are we attracting the wrong kind of
patients? Is there something that needs to be
cleaned up? Are all the files in order?

What ever it is, I’ll start looking more closely
and paying more attention to what I need to order,
what laws and rules I need to follow, who I bring
into the office and what I share with them.
Although I personally missed the disaster, I’ll
use it as a warning sign to clean up my own mess
both at home and the office.

I was lucky I wasn’t there to deal with the she-it
part, but it is a wake up call to put everything
in order before the she-it hits the fan.

When this kind of stuff happens in your life don’t
ignore it. Look around and see what needs to be
put back in order, what possible blockages you may
have and get them fixed ASAP.

If you want a really good way to put your life in
proper order pick up a copy of the Magic Square
workshop

http://rechargingqigong.com/magic-square-workshop.html

This will give you the secrets to the Chinese
system of life, goal setting and a formula to
bring good luck and fortune into your life.

Happiness

Longevity Walking Add Years to Your Life

My early morning training involves walking; in
fact I walk every day for at least 30 minutes.
Sometimes it’s fast other times it’s a slow
meditation walk and I always include at least 250
steps backwards. You may be asking yourself, why
backwards?

When you walk backwards it brakes up different
patterns in your body and mind. The more different
possibilities you add to your body and or mind
makes you more flexible, improves your balance and
gives you a new way of looking at the world.

When I was in China I would see people walking
every morning in the parks and many of them were
walking backwards. I asked my Master, “Why are
they walking backwards? Was it a meditation, some
kind of Chinese exercise or what?” He laughed and
explained in his best English, “It’s for many
things, walking backwards not only improves your
balance, but it opens up your vision and
strengthens the kidneys and relieves back and knee
pain.” I tried it and was amazed at how well it
worked.

Try it !

You will be surprised how fast your body will heal
and how much sharper your mind will become.
Walking no matter how you do it can make a big
difference in your health picture. Even just
taking a short walk for 30 minutes a day cuts the
chances of becoming diabetic by more than half.

The Benefits of Walking:
• Cuts the risk of stroke by more than 25 %
• Reduces hypertension
• Walk ing cuts the risk of cancer
• Women who walk have a 20 % lower possibility of
getting breast cancer
•Improves the immune system
• Men who walk 30 minutes a day have a
significantly lower level of prostate cancer
• Strengthens the heart
• Strengthens bones
• Improves the circulatory system
• Generates positive neuro chemicals
• When you walk every day, your body is healthier
and stronger. A single 30-minute walk can reduce
your blood pressure by five points for over 20
hours
• Reduces the risk of blood clots in your legs
• Walking helps the body heal quicker. It keeps
the body healthy. It improves our biological
health, our physical health, our psychosocial
health, and helps with our emotional health.
Walking will add year’s to your life and a smile
to your entire being.

Walking is just one of the ways I stay young and
healthy, add the Qi Gong, meditation and proper
diet and your chances of a long healthy life will
increase by 50% or more.
I’ll teach my students how to do, what to do, and
why we do it in the Qi Gong Inner Circle
membership.

Who is in charge of your Future?

Monday, August 5th, 2013

A few weeks ago I was walking in the park and a
woman who was raggedy dressed and looked like she
was down on her luck came up to me and said hello
to me. I thought maybe she was hitting me up for
some spare change. I said hi and thought nothing
of it. She then called me by name and told me who
she was, I looked into her eyes and apologized to
her and I said, I can’t remember how I know you.
She said, “It’s me Gloria you know me from high
school.” I still didn’t recognize her. I thought
to myself I don’t know this woman at all. She told
me her full name and I was stunned.
I would have never recognized her in a thousand
years. She looked very old, with bags under her
eyes, she had straggly yellowish gray hair, a pale
complexion, and she was over weight and had a very
low vibration. I told her it was nice to see her.

Although I was shocked, I tried not to show it on
my face. She was a knockout in high school. Gloria
was tall, blond and beautiful and all the guys
were crazy about her.
She told me that she made some bad decisions in
her life and now is paying for them. She was now
divorced from a bad marriage, her family stopped
talking to her, she lost her job and went through
all her money, all bad news.
Although our encounter was brief it had a big
impact on me. I thought about her for a few days.
How such a beautiful girl could end up as a bag
lady.
It all comes down to what decisions we make and
how you orchestrate your life. The decisions you
make daily, weekly and through the years will
bring your future to you. Yes, we are in charge of
our own future.
Every decision you make affects your life for the
better or worse.

The Key to longevity, update on Dr. Cuenca

Wednesday, July 17th, 2013
Share

Dimages will be at my office later this
month July 25th for a week to run some interesting
testing on patients, she is a naturopathic doctor
from Santa Cruz, California and specializes in
Computer regulation thermography (CRT) and
advanced homeopathic medicine. The Thermography is
a wonderful tool used to get a functional picture
of all the organ systems in the body.

The Test is performed by measuring different
points on the skin, which correspond to specific
internal organs and tissues through
viscerocutaneous reflexes. Thermography has been
used in Europe for more that 20 years, and has
recently been computerized to make interpretation
easier and more accurate.
How the CRT works?

The autonomic nervous system, which controls
automatic body functions, determines circulation
to internal organs as well as the skin. It does
this by altering the amount of dilation and
constriction in blood vessels. Environmental
temperature impacts the autonomic nervous system
and, therefore, affects blood flow. By measuring
the temperature of many different points on the
skin before and after a cold stimulus, we can
monitor changes in circulation. The actual
temperature, as well as how it changes in response
to the cold stimulus, provides information about
the function of organs and tissues that correspond
to the points being measured.

After adapting to room temperature, the first set
of measurements is taken. A 15 minute cooling phase
follows before measuring the
points a second time. After the results are
interpreted, they will be explained during a
follow-up appointment. Treatment will be based on
the test’s results, the patient’s specific
situation, and the doctor’s assessment.

Why is this test so important ?
Regulation thermography is effective in the early
detection of many physical imbalances and
diseases. Often times symptoms are affected by
areas of the body that may not at first seem
directly related. Thermography can help determine
what additional lab work; if any; may be needed to
determine the source of ill health; and can help
avoid many unnecessary, expensive lab tests.

CRT can discover possible sources of chronic
disease and infections. Breast, ovarian, and
prostate health can also be assessed. Possible
cardiovascular, stomach, liver, pancreas, and
gallbladder problems can be detected using the
CRT. Unknown causes of infection and inflammation,
allergic or toxic reactions to food, the presence
of intestinal mycosis or dysbiosis, and possible
correlations between dental health and disease can
all be determined using CRT. Your overall vitality
can be estimated by CRT.

To schedule an appointment call my office at
305-407-0120

This is what you will need to do before the
testing
1. Do not shower, exercise, or engage in any
activities that will increase your blood pressure.

2. Eat a light breakfast. Do not drink coffee,
including decaf, or any caffeinated beverages,
like Coke or Pepsi.

3. Do not smoke or drink alcohol for a
minimum of 24 hours before your appointment.

4. Take only medications that you take regularly.

5. Wear comfortable clothing that covers your
arms and legs and make sure to wear socks.
A lose button-down shirt is good.

6. No tight clothing, including
belts. Anything that leaves a red mark when you
remove it is too tight.

7. Do not use any creams, lotions, or make-up on
your skin. *Men avoid shaving on the morning of
their appointment.

8. Avoid confrontation or emotional stress on the
day of your appointment

If you have any questions contact the office and I
will answer them the best I can or refer you to
Dr. Cuenca

I highly suggest this test for better health and
as a guide for longevity practices.

How to Cultivate Qi

Monday, June 24th, 2013
Share

Cultivating Qi is the way to store and use the
energy of Qi. There are many names for Qi and
several types of Qi that do a multitude of things.
Qi can never be fully understood simply by
thinking about it, Qi only becomes a tangible
force when you can cultivate it and that’s where
practice comes in.

QUnknown
Over thousands of years masters have studied,
taught and practiced techniques to cultivate Qi
through exercises, breathing and meditations to
nurture Qi. Techniques like yoga, Qi Gong and Tai
Qi are all-famous for the cultivation of Qi and in
today’s world they have become more main stream.
As you learn to cultivate Qi, you can prevent
disease and prolong your life.
It is said that Qi Gong practitioners, who
specialize in the art of cultivating personal Qi,
have lived to the exceedingly old age of one
hundred, one hundred-fifty, and even two hundred
years or more.

Traditional Chinese theory states that aging is a
process that consumes ever more of the diminishing
resources of our bodies, particularly Qi. Once the
supply is depleted, weakness, illness, and death
are sure to follow. Practice is the key to
longevity.

Chinese mystics, philosophers, herbalists, and
medical practitioners have discovered a number of
ways to supplement our Qi and you can learn them
and improve your health and wellbeing.

The famous Chinese herbalist Li Ching-Yuen
practiced Qi Gong for his entire life. They say he
lived most of his life as a recluse in the
mountains; he was married 27 times, outliving each
of his wives.

He began gathering herbs in the mountain ranges at
the age of ten, and also began learning of
longevity methods, surviving on a diet of herbs
and rice wine. According to history he lived for
two and a half centuries.

In our modern world you don’t have to move to the
mountains, become an herbalist to live a long
healthy life, but you need to practice longevity
exercises.

Opening up to Spirit

Friday, June 14th, 2013

Opening up to Spirit

This week the meditation class was filled. We
couldn’t get one more person in the room. It seems
like there was a shift and now more and more
spiritual beings are showing up.

images-2I met an artist at the organic market over the
weekend. I was just strolling around looking at
the different venders, the lady who makes fruit
jelly, the tattooed guy who sells gems and the
Rasta man who has some hot Jamaican music and then
it happened.

I was magnetically pulled to a woman who was
sitting on the ground painting. She had a special
glow and before I knew it I was totally mesmerized
by her energy. I had no intension of buying a
painting as my walls are filled. My purpose of
going to the market was to stock up on food for
the week and nothing more and the next thing I
knew, I bought a new painting. It’s 3 ft. x 3 of a
series of Sanskrit symbols “Om Shanti” in
different colors. Om is believed to be a sound of
the whole cosmic manifestation. Shanti is “Peace”
‘Om Shanti’ means peace for the all human kind,
peace for all living and non living beings, peace
for the universe, and peace for each and every
thing in the cosmic manifestation. I had to have
it. When you come into my office it’s now on the
wall and the vibration has lighted up the room.

I have been investing in art and sculptures for
years for a few good reasons. One, it brings me
happiness, joy and tranquility in my home and
office. The vibrations you have in your living
space is the key to longevity. If it’s stressful,
unwelcoming or depressing, guess what? Your life
will be in danger of physic attack. Some years ago
an old friend sent me a picture that was dark. It
had a creepy vibration and although it was well
executed with skill and creativity I never even
put it in a frame. It just has a bad vibe when I
look at it. Who knows where the artists headspace
was when she drew it, I don’t think she was in a
good one. It’s important to bring objects into
your surroundings that will not only enhance the
ambiances but also keep the vibrations high. If
the space where you live or work is cluttered,
unorganized or of a low vibration, change it or
move and you will see your external and internal
life change for the better.

It’s the same with practice. Find a quite,
peaceful place and go there often and you will
build an energetic force there that will change
your internal and external life. I practice the
Recharging Qi Gong exercises on a regular basic
and over the years I managed to stay more
flexible, younger, happier and pain free. The
program consists of 36 powerful exercises that
work on all three bodies at the same time.

Get on the program today.

I really appreciate all of your great suggestions
on which car I should buy. You may know that I was
brought up in Detroit, “The Motor City”. Back in
the days when I was growing up, it was the car
capital of the world, the Headquarters of the Big
3- GM, Ford and Chrysler.

Living in Detroit mostly everybody was into cars
but I was an unusual kid more into the martial
arts, working out, meditation and longevity
practices. Cars never really interested me.

Maybe that sounds strange to you but I was really
hyperactive all the time with lots and lots of
undirected energy. Today they would have drugged me
with a number of ADHD medications like Wellbutrin,
Adderall and maybe some Ritalin to calm me down.
The list of drugs that they give kids today goes
on and on and it’s not especially healthy for them
in the long run.

Lucky for me, my Dad put me in martial classes and
when I got home from a 2 hour workout, I was ready
for a good nights sleep.

Mini-Cooper-Countryman-S-Images (3)
This was my start on the path to staying grounded in longevity
practices and meditations as well as becoming a teacher and a doctor

Anyway, let’s get back to the new car. I looked at
Hondas, Toyotas, Lexus’, Audi’s, Chevy’s,
Volkswagen and the new Cadillac’s. I finally
found the one I wanted.
It’s safe, strong sporty
fast and guess what?
The one I wanted drank gas like it
was still $1.00 a gallon and it just didn’t feel
right to be talking and teaching people to be
greener and not getting on the program myself.

I was beside myself as what to get and I was
starting to stress out about it to the point that
my focus and concentration was being disturbed.

I decided to drive to a dealership around 10 miles
from my office and just get a car and be done with
it.

I was driving for over an hour, I thought I knew
where it was but I must have made a wrong turn
somewhere and when I called the dealer he said I
was still 20 minutes away. I pushed on and when I
got there I was at the wrong dealership but they
had a great selection of cars.

I walked around the showroom and the lot and then
I saw a cool looking car; a Mini Cooper
Countryman. It looked like a Mini on steroids, it
is much higher, longer and wider and this one had
a fuel-injected system. Really fast and handled
like a sports car, 27 miles to the gallon in the
city and over 35 on the highway. I ended up
getting the Mini and it’s fun to drive.

A Mini wasn’t what I was looking for and the
dealership wasn’t the one I thought I was going to
but it turned out this was the best car at the
best price and the best one I drove.

It’s the same with our health. We think we know
what we want and believe it will be the best for
us but, it takes a lot of searching and looking
