The Super Hero formula

Sunday, April 28th, 2013
Share

Back in the days growing up in Detroit, my Superhero was
‘The Man of Steel’- Superman. I can still remember
the superman saying word for word.

“Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a
locomotive able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Who disguised as Clark Kent, mild mannered reporter
for a major metropolitan newspaper fights the
unending battle for truth, justice, and the
American way.”
It stills brings a tingle to my
entire body when I hear that.

April 18th was the 75th
anniversary of
Superman’s first appearance in Action Comics #1.
Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Schuster in 1932
in Cleveland,
the co-creators developed the
first and what many say is the greatest superhero.

People love Superman so much they couldn’t wait to
get the next comic book about his feats.
In fact, this love for Superman is so enduring
that he has appeared
in nearly 1,000 Action
Comics and has evolved with the times, appearing
in a 1940s radio serial, TV series beginning as
early as the 1950’s and frequent appearances in
Hollywood movies including the newest movie “Man
of Steel” due to be released
in June.

Why Hero’s are important?
Every culture has them no matter if it’s an American
hero like Superman,Batman, Wonder Woman or Crocodile Dundee
in the land down under. My grand kids love the modern
day heros like Harry Potter and Dragon Ball`s from Japan.

I remember going to the movies with my brother to
see Raiders of the lost ark years ago and we were
both totally glued to the big screen watching
Indiana Jones with his bullwhip and gun in hand.

Those who do not have a taste for fiction or
fantasy may have a hero in their own father,
mother, grandfather or even a brother or a sister.
Whatever the case, it has to be admitted:

Everyone needs a hero.
Now, have you ever wondered why that
is? Surprisingly enough, people need heroes
because a hero equals HOPE, a ROLE model to
follow, and a certainty that things will fall into
their rightful place.

To our subconscious mind, a hero represents what
you feel is right, what is good. People
unconsciously, are always trying to find that role
model, that great example to follow: A pattern, a
blueprint of goodness.

When we practice internal exercises they change us
from the inside out. We feel younger, stronger and
they give us a feeling of power, youth and
invincibility.
They change you from the inside out.

I can tell you this for a fact, I know I have
been practicing for over 30 years and I still feel
young, flexible and strong. It’s not too late for
you to start, but you must start and the sooner
the better.
Old age will not wait for you. He’s a
coming for you right now.

Stuck in your own comfort zone?

There is a wonderful little story about two monks
who lived together in a monastery for many years
and they were great friends. Then they died within
a few months of one another. One of them got
reborn in the heaven realms, the other monk got
reborn as a worm in a dung pile. The one up in the
heaven realms was having a wonderful time,
enjoying all the heavenly pleasures. But he
started thinking about his friend, “I wonder where
my old mate has gone?” So he scanned all of the
heaven realms, but could not find a trace of his
friend. Then he scanned the realm of human beings,
but he could not see any trace of his friend
there, so he looked in the realm of animals and
then of insects. Finally he found him, reborn as a
worm in a dung pile… Wow! He thought: “I am
going to help my friend. I am going to go down
there to that dung pile and take him up to the
heavenly realm so he too can enjoy the heavenly
pleasures and bliss of living in these wonderful
realms.” So he went down to the dung pile
and called his mate. And the little worm wriggled
out and said:
“Who are you?” “I am your friend.
We used to be monks together in a past life,
and I have come up to take you to the heaven realms
where life is wonderful and blissful.” But the
worm said: “Go away, get lost!” “But I am your
friend, and I live in the heaven realms,” and he
described the heaven realms to him. But the worm
said: “No thank you, I am quite happy here in my
dung pile. Please go away.” Then the heavenly
being thought: “Well if I could only just grab
hold of him and take him up to the heaven realms,
he could see for himself.” So he grabbed hold of
the worm and started tugging at him; and the
harder he tugged, the harder that worm clung to
his pile of dung. Do you get the moral of
the story? How many of us are attached to our pile
of dung?

We all have a comfortable zone that we live in and
no matter what happens come hell or high water we
don’t want to change it. We get stuck in our own
snug dung pile. It could be an abusive
relationship or it might be a bad job that you’re
caught in.
Being addicted to lust, money, drugs or power is
just the human way. We get into a robotic pattern
and hate to leave it, no matter if it’s good or
bad. Whatever it is we get comfortable where we
are and we are either afraid or just too lazy to
move out of our comfort zone.

I’ve been stuck several times in my life, but
lucky for me I found a class, a workshop, or a
teaching to pull me out of the pattern and wake me
up. Maybe it’s just karma or my self-discipline
but I believe it’s more than that. You need to
want to wake up and I am sure you want to, that’s
one of the reasons you read my blog.

The best is getting a coach or a teacher who can
guide you on the path.

What are those Big Red Spots all over his back?

The rage in Hollywood is Cupping.
….And the movie stars are looking like an octopus
kissed them.
Cupping is one of the oldest methods of healing
used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

The earliest recorded use of cupping dates to the
early fourth century; one textbook included an
entire chapter on “Fire Jar Qi,” a type of cupping
that could alleviate headaches, dizziness and
abdominal pain.

Originally, practitioners would use hollowed-out
animal horns for cups, and place them over
particular points or meridians. When I lived in
Maui I went to see a healer who only used the
horn, a single edge razor blade and a candle to
create the suction needed for the treatment.

I have been using a hand pump to pull out all the air
inside the cup to create the vacuum instead of fire.

Some years ago my mother had a bad backache and
although she wasn’t really sure about all this new
Chinese work that I learned but she let me try cupping
on her. Any way I was a little nervous myself as
at that time I learned the technique but didn’t
have much practice.
I got everything ready, the cups, a candle, some
alcohol and a lighter. I did everything that I
learned, but I didn’t realize that the cups got
hot, so when I placed them on my mom’s back she
yelled, “You burnt me, you burnt your own mother”.

The next day I bought the cups with the suction
bump and eliminated fire once and for all.
The vacuum created by the lack of oxygen anchors
the cup to the skin and pulls it upward on the
inside of the glass, as the air inside the jar is
gone. Drawing up the skin is believed to open up
the skin’s pores, which helps to stimulate the
flow of blood, balances and realigns the flow of
Qi, breaks up obstructions, and creates an avenue
for toxins to be drawn out of the body.
The cups are usually left on the skin for about 5
to 10 minutes. Several cups may be placed on a
patient’s body at the same time. Sometimes I will
put some oil or medicine on the skin so I can move
the cups around to loosen up things and bring more
energy to the body.

Cupping is used to treat respiratory conditions
such as bronchitis, asthma, and congestion;
arthritis; gastrointestinal disorders; and certain
types of pain. I have also use cupping
to treat depression and reduce swelling.

Cupping is safe, if you don’t burn your
mother by mistake, it can cause some swelling and
bruising on the skin but thats normal. The spots are gone in a few days.
The skin under a cup is drawn up, the blood vessels at the surface of the
skin expand. thats why why we get circular
bruises on the areas where the cups were applied.
These bruises are painless and are a good topic of conversation

Cupping is becoming very popular these days. Stars
like Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Paris
Hilton, David Arquette, Lady Gaga and Andy Murray
they all have one thing in common – circular marks
on their back that looks an octopus was sucking on
them. Even Jennifer Aniston was seen with some
circular marks on the red carpet.

I use cupping in my office just about every day to
treat colds, coughs, asthma, back pain and pain
with great success. If you come into my office be
sure to ask for a cupping treatment along with
your acupuncture treatment.

Are your loved ones Sucking your Energy

Monday, April 22nd, 2013
Share

An Energy Vampire will spread fear around like
it’s going out of style, just to suck you in.
Their conversations are about fear that really
doesn’t exist and they set traps for others to
fall into so they can suck the Energy from you.
For the most part they lack close friends and any
kind of long lasting relationships. An Energy Vampire
will set up situations to suck others into their
negative energy to drain them of life, love and
happiness.

Do you know anyone who carries fear around with
them like a bag of treats, ready to share it with
anyone who will to listen to your sad pathetic
story?
Beware of those people who are always saying
things like- “I don’t know about you but if this or that
happens I’m really screwed.” “I don’t know what I
would do.” “I’m totally freaking out about it,
aren’t you?” They tell their Sad Sack story over
and over to whoever will listen and that’s one of
the ways they hook their teeth in to suck you dry.

I have seen them suck the joy out of their own
family, their mates and even their children. They
force friends and family to try and calm them
down, as they suck the life and energy out of the
situation.

Beware, if you have a clinging person around you
that needs to be constantly held or indulged like
a little baby, chances are they are sucking you
dry. They are drawing upon your strength to feed
and when you try to pull away they squeal and cry
like they are two years old even if they are
adults.

Well, it’s high time to take
responsibility for your own pile of dung and do
something about it before friends, family ditch
you totally. Your mother, father, sister, brother,
husband, wife and even your children may still be
with you physically but they will resent you for
stealing their life force.

We all get stubborn now and then but if you are
stubborn to the point of ridiculousness, it’s time
to wake up. The Tibetans say that all of this
comes from the “Three poisons” Worry, Struggle and
Blame. If you find yourself or friends who are
living in a place of doubt, not believing anyone
and always blame others for misfortune, chances
are they are caught in the endless circle of
Worry, Struggle and Blame others for their own
problems.

But you can change this pattern. images-1 That’s all one needs to
do, but you have to be the one who does it. No one
else can even help you. I know patients who see
physiologists, doctors and even healers but until
they take responsibility for their own health,
they will be stuck and be sucking on others
energy. I taught a class to a group of doctors,
healers and physiologists to give them tools to
keep themselves free of energy. Three Poisons
Sounds the program included the formulas on how to
recognize the patterns and how to pull yourself
and your clients, friends and family out of this
mess.

The entire program was recorded and put on DVD’s
to learn and grow out of old patterns. You can

Get ready for some Big changes on our Planet

imagesIt seems like the world is getting stranger and
stranger; the Boston bombing, the explosion in
Texas and the 7.8 earthquakes in Iran all in a
week.

I hate being the messenger of doom and gloom,
that’s not what I am about because I know that in
reality we are very fortunate to be born at this
time and grow from all these lessons.

We are constantly being bombarded with calamity
and disaster and it seems like it will continue
until we make a shift in the global consciousness.

Doesn’t it seem like everyone is just going
bonkers or could it just be a shift to planet
Earth as a whole? Appropriately enough in the year
of the snake we are molting our old skin of the
past and feeling growing pains into our new
planetary conscious, (Grow pains). The lesson at
hand is to nurturer each other and ourselves.

Stay on the path, practice daily, eat clean
healthy food, drink clean water , take vitamins,
exercise and meditate. These are no longer an
option, they are mandatory to stay healthy in
body, mind and spirit. One thing that I am certain
of is if you and I don’t start connecting to
others and yourself on a conscious level, you are
going to feel the intense insanity and pressures.

There is good news, if you have been on a path of
goodness; it is going to become easier as we are
propelled into the new age. All the work you have
been doing will pay off. You will be Healthier,
Happier and Wealthier.

I met with Carola last week and I couldn’t help
noticing how she looked really good and really
optimistic about life.

She told me she was keeping up with everything:
diet, supplements, exercise, and meditation. She
said, ” I am doing everything I can do to make my
life better daily. Even though there are some
obstacles in the way, now and then. I keep a
positive and enthusiastic attitude. I am changing
my Stops into Steps.

She continued, “I’m definitely at the healthiest
I’ve ever been physically, mentally, emotionally
and spiritually and I feel better than ever.”

Our conversation was elevating and inspiring for
both of us to keep on keeping on, we inspired each
other to keep getting better and better.

Every day I meet with people from all over the
world at my office on the phone, Skype and Email
to support them in their practice, their health
and their meditations.

The True Power of Healing

Thursday, April 18th, 2013

I received a call from Barbara 2 weeks ago. She
was having severe hip pain and although she saw
her doctor his only solution was surgery and she
really didn’t want to go that route.

I worked with her when I was in California and in
Wyoming years ago and was surprised to get the
call after so many years. She told me she was in a
pickle and spelled out all the details and asked
if I could do anything for her. I suggested she
come to Florida to see me but she said it was
impossible at this time and asked what other
options I could give her. At first I thought my
hands were tied, but I told her that I would think
about it and call her the next day. The next
morning I called and told her I would do a long
distance healing for her and we will see if it
will help. So we picked a time and I asked her to
find a comfortable space that’s quiet and I will
work on her from here.

The next day she reported that she had a
remarkable experience. She felt that she was
covered with light and then became very hot as the
treatment was going on, it went on for about ½
hour and then she said she fell asleep for 2 or 3
hours and when she woke the hip pain was gone. She
sent me this letter that I will share with you.
“I met Dr.Sherwood Swartz AKA (Dr Wu Dhi) several
years ago at a Peace Conference in Jackson Hole,
WY.
He was leading a Qi Gong class, the idea being
that learning to be peaceful within would lead to
a more peaceful world. The class was wonderful!
As time went by I had an acupuncture treatment for
a bladder infection on a stopover in Florida on my
way to Brazil. Who wants a bladder infection on a
long plane flight? Again I was cured.
Then years later I had a painful hip event (bone
rubbing on bone). The doctor wanted me to wait
for surgery until I was older, so the joint would
not wear out and have to be replaced a second
time. So I called Dr. Wu Dhi to help me with the
ongoing pain.

Since he was out of town he did a distance healing
on my hip which I was not sure would actually
work. To my amazement, the pain subsided! It was
incredibly helpful and powerful!!

Long distance healing is a powerful way to heal
many different conditions; it is recognized in
many different healing systems around the world
using prayer, energy healing such as Qi Gong and
Reiki healing.

The Power of Meditation on your Weight

Focusing on the present rather than letting the
mind drift may help to lower levels of the stress
hormone cortisol, according to new research from
the Shamatha Project at the University of
California, Davis.

The ability to focus mental resources on immediate
experience is an aspect of mindfulness, which can
be improved by meditation training.
“This is the first study to show a direct relation
between resting cortisol and scores on any type of
mindfulness scale,” said Tonya Jacobs, a
postdoctoral researcher at the UC Davis Center for
Mind and Brain and first author of a paper
describing the work, published this week in the
journal Health Psychology.

High levels of cortisol, a hormone produced by the
adrenal gland, are associated with physical or
emotional stress. Prolonged release of the hormone
contributes to wide-ranging, adverse effects on a
number of physiological systems.
The new findings are the latest to come from the
Shamatha Project, a comprehensive long-term,
control-group study of the effects of meditation
training on mind and body.
Led by Clifford Saron, associate research
scientist at the UC Davis Center for Mind and
Brain, the Shamatha Project has drawn the
attention of both scientists and Buddhist scholars
including the Dalai Lama, who has endorsed the
project.
In the new study, Jacobs, Saron and their
colleagues used a questionnaire to measure aspects
of mindfulness among a group of volunteers before
and after an intensive, three-month meditation
retreat. They also measured cortisol levels in the
volunteers’ saliva.

During the retreat, Buddhist scholar and teacher
B. Alan Wallace of the Santa Barbara Institute for
Consciousness Studies trained participants in such
skills as mindfulness of breathing, observing
mental events, and observing the nature of
consciousness. Participants also practiced
cultivating benevolent mental states, including
loving kindness, compassion, empathic joy and
equanimity.

At an individual level, there was a correlation
between a high score for mindfulness and a low
score in cortisol both before and after the
retreat. Individuals whose mindfulness score
increased after the retreat showed a decrease in
cortisol.
“The more a person reported directing their
cognitive resources to immediate sensory
experience and the task at hand, the lower their
resting cortisol.

If you didn’t know it cortisol is a steroid
hormone, produced by the zona fasciculata of the
adrenal cortex. It is released in response to
stress and a low level of blood glucocorticoids.
Its primary functions are to increase blood sugar
through gluconeogenesis; suppress the immune
system; and aid in fat, protein and carbohydrate
metabolism. It also decreases bone formation.
If there is too much cortisol in the body you will
never lose weight– the kind that shows up as
belly fat and when you are stressed you produce
even more of it. That’s why meditation is so good
for you. It calms things down and helps reduce
your stress levels.

Are you aging too fast?

images-1Every Wednesday night for the last 5 years I have
been teaching a meditation class and sharing the
teachings of Internal Qi Gong work as well as
incorporating mythology like the use of imagery,
ritual, and metaphor. When we exercise our will in
such a manner as to bring about changes in one’s
state of mind and body, we Subtle the Body through
the practices involving the use of imagination and
perception to open chakras, meridian channels, and
energy flows.

This rare work impacts our life in such a way that
we grow beyond our old patterns. We move outside
the norm and begin to experience life differently.
We gain purpose, mission and self-worth outside
our own limitations and the limitations of
society. We reach a form of so called insanity.
We actually become in-sane rather than out–of-
sane, our view of the world changes and so do we.

In today’s world the pace has quickened, the old
patterns of life no longer work. We are forced to
become a-new or struggle with habits and patterns
that no longer work.

Just yesterday I had a lady referred to my office
with a common cold. She was brought up in a system
that her belief structure (BS) led her to believe
she needed only two things, Pain pills and
antibodies.

She had a fever and wanted it gone and didn’t want
to deal with any of the discomforts. As we went
over her medical history she shared that she was a
smoker and has been smoking for 40 years and
wasn’t about to quit. She also complained of a bad
cough and a chronic sinus condition. But her (BS)
wouldn’t let her change.
Fortunately, her sister insisted that she open up
and try something new.

That’s how I came into the picture. I explained
that although the antibiotics may eliminate the
symptoms temporally, they were not a cure and she
was going to wipe out her digestive system. We
needed to build up her immune system and change
her biological terrain. I explained that if we
look at the body as a garden and the soil is not
balanced in our garden, we will only grow inferior
plants. To grow health plants we need to balance
the PH of the garden, feed the soil proper
nutrients, which give it water and stay away from
poisons. Our body is the same. We need the right
stuff to stay healthy, exercise, drink water, good
food and right thinking, and to be able to handle
our stresses.
This made sense to her and we treated her with all
natural medicine, teas, herbs, homeopathic
medicine, heat acupuncture and massage.
I called her this morning and guess what? To her
amazement she got better!
The smoking will be the next challenge. She has
been using cigarettes for years to ovoid
confronting her emotions. I’ll let you know how it
goes.

If you are going through some health challenges
yourself, let me know about them. There may be
ways to let go of your own Belief Structure (BS)
and renew yourself.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness

What’s your child’s health worth?

Wednesday, April 10th, 2013

What’s your child’s health worth?

I treat a lot of little ones, kids from 6 months
old to teenagers. Their parents don’t want them to
get sick but they also don’t want their children
taking antibiotics, steroids or any other drug
that has side effects. I don’t blame them. I never
gave my kids drugs and to this day they are
healthy and drug free.
Last week a mother brought her 2 year old to see
me and within a ½ hour the little girl was feeling
fine. Here is the letter she sent me a few days
later.
So I hear about antibiotic secondary effects and
how bad this treatment is for your body and yet
when there’s an infection, that’s how we treat it
and we just focus on the healing effects it has on
the infection, right?
Well…
“Last week my 2-year-old daughter had an ear and
throat infection and of course her pediatrician
prescribed her with antibiotics. This time I had a
gut feeling about treating her with alternative
medicine but with Dr. Wu Dhi instead. Once I left
the pediatrician I took my daughter to see Dr. Wu
Dhi. He treated her with many different things and
gave her homeopathic medication. The experience
was amazing and very different from how it is like
when I take her to her pediatrician. There was no
struggle or crying because he managed to make it
easy on her. I must say, Dr. Wu Dhi has a great
understanding of how these “big” minds in little
bodies work.
You know, my parents were always big believers in
alternative medicine. As a child, in Venezuela,
where I’m from, I was always treated with
homeopathic medicine unless I had an infection
resulting into taking antibiotic for that matter.

Going back to my daughter… when I told my
parents and ex-husband I wasn’t going to treat my
daughter with antibiotics but only with what Dr.
Wu Dhi had given her, everybody freaked out. So as
a single mother, having my parents in Venezuela
and a very difficult ex-husband, I must say there
was a lot of pressure on me. Always asking myself,
my God am I doing the right thing? What if she
gets worse? My poor baby, plus my whole family and
ex are going to jump at me, and so on. But I could
not shut that little voice in the back of my head
telling me I was doing the right thing. That voice
that would keep telling me Dr. Wu Dhi is going to
get her well without using antibiotics. I was
still nervous so I decided to make an appointment
with my daughter’s pediatrician 3 days later to
follow up even though she seemed fine.

The fever had stopped and she was acting fine. But
kids sometimes can fool you with all that energy
they have and still might be sick. To my surprise,
there was one big problem. This was Friday and her
doctor wasn’t going to be back to her office until
Monday. That meant I had to wait 3 more days to
know how her infection was doing. Every time I
would open the refrigerator, I would see the
antibiotic almost saying “hello?” but I stayed
firm and did NOT give it to her. Monday finally
arrived and I found out that after almost a whole
week whether she was ok or not. Well not difficult
to guess… my daughter has no infection
whatsoever!! I saved her from 20 dosages of
antibiotics!!!

Thank you Dr. Wu Dhi! I am very grateful! This is
priceless!

I’m taking the time to write my story for all of
you, especially the parents, hoping to encourage
you to use think outside the box and trust Dr. Wu
Dhi!

It’s totally worth it!”

Kids are more sensitive to the environment and the
vibes they pick up that’s why alternative medicine
works so well for them.

No one wants to take a chance that his or her
child will get sick and suffer. At my clinic
children get well without scary treatments and
drugs that can cause a problem in the future.
The treatments are about their wellness not their
sickness.

How do you train without a trainer?

The weather in South Florida is great. At this
time of the year it’s usually hot and humid but so
far it is in the 50’s and 60’s and the perfect
weather to train. I have been getting up earlier
and spending a few hours practicing Qi Gong every
morning and I can feel the difference! The key is
consistency; you want to train every day to build
in a “BODY MEMORY”

Our body’s nervous system sends a message to the
muscles to take action; the results can be
positive or negative. When it is impossible to act
on the message for whatever reason, the body’s
next reaction is to freeze.
Tension in the body creates areas of hardness,
pain, constriction and decreases the range of
motion. Over a long period of time, the body
adjusts to this tension, and symptoms of disease,
disorder and illness begin. Many times, symptoms
begin after an emotionally traumatic event. Anger,
sorrow, grief, joy and fear, which are stored
because of the freeze response, begin to manifest
as symptoms of imbalance in the body we actually
have a “BODY MEMORY” that holds all of this in
place.

In his book, Waking the Tiger, Psychologist Dr.
Peter Levine, describes how humans can remain in
the freeze response long after the threatening or
overwhelming experience has passed, which is why
many people remain ill, despite medical or
pharmaceutical intervention, professional therapy,
exercise and smart lifestyle choices. Most modern
medical techniques are incapable of releasing the
freeze response because it maintains muscle
guarding, even during sleep. We are constantly
over stimulated by both internal and external
forces, and difficult cases may not respond to
therapy, due to tension in the body’s tissue
systems as well as energetically and spiritually.
Such cases may have a history of sexual abuse,
violence, post-traumatic stress disorder, past
traumatic events, depression, anxiety, digestive
problems, headaches, migratory bodily pain,
accidents and surgical trauma. These symptoms can
all be effectively treated and eliminated.

Back in the late 70’s I worked with a group of
Doctors/Healers/Shamans and Individuals dedicated
to longevity, of course we were in California.
A brilliant teacher “Larry Short”, who was light
years a head of his time created a system called
“Total Person images” where we combined a
unique recipe of performance consisting of NLP,
applied kinesiology, deep tissue work, to free the
body of these traumas as well as guided fantasy,
body reading, bone and joint mobilization,
corrective exercises, homeopathic medicine,
meditations and much, much more. Even today the
system would blow you away. In these techniques,
we learned not only how to clear the body of past
traumas; we learned how to build in the muscle
memory to give you optimal performance of
body/mind and spirit.

Our goal was and is Longevity and Awareness. Over
the past 40 years I have worked with this system
adding my own personal touch, as well as another
25 years of experience of Chinese Medicine and
Medical Qi Gong to create a system of Anti Aging.
Dr. Wu Dhi’s private coaching program is a one on
