Don’t be Tricked into getting Old!

I can’t help but think about the plotting
little kids who come up with all those creative
ways for getting the most candy.
Deciding what route to take– sure you hit the
houses that give out the best and most
candy or going to a neighborhood with smaller
yards so you can “hit” more houses.
I’ve even heard of people changing into a second
costume so they can go to the same houses a
second time on their way back home.
If you check the internet you can find articles on
getting the most candy, advice on creating a
clever costume, why you shouldn’t linger at
house, if you get stuck with your younger
siblings go out early and then ditch them so you
can get back to the candy lust. The stuff you can
find online is amazing.

Funny how so much thought can go into getting as
much candy as possible. Yet, how many put
the same level of thought into keeping
yourself young and healthy?
Based on a fundamental understanding of what
motivates people to be healthy, and take good care
of body and mind or even eat the right things most
don’t care. When we are young we think we are
invincible.

I hear older people saying, “If I knew I was going
to live so long I would have taken better care of
myself.”
The first 50 years are the most important if you
want to avoid sickness, disease, pain and
suffering.

When you are young that’s the time to establish
your dietary habits, your habits for exercise and
the way you see and act. When you take care of
yourself it will pay off big time in your later
years.

Make yourself a “Health checklist” to
maximize your physical, mental and spiritual
health.

Read all you can, study and most of all practice:
What the people who are a hundred years do
What Information can you read, learn and study.
What foods to avoid and what to put into your
diet

I have found that the internal exercises are one
of the keys from the Chinese longevity practices.
I have devoted years to learn study and practice
daily to slow down the aging process and avoid the
suffering of old age.

If you have been still living like you are
invincible it’s time to make sure that your
superman costume doesn’t get tarnished!

How to start a Good Ass Day (GAD)

Friday, September 7th, 2012
Share

It’s Doctor Wu Dhi and today is going to be an
excellent day, a
day for you to take all of your internal energy
and focus on it like a laser.

Start your day by popping out of bed and get out
the door within ½ hour of the time your feet hit
the floor to exercise – walk, run, yoga, swim or
Qi Gong, some thing to get your blood moving. A
real warrior comes from the inside and proclaims
BAM!

-Know what you want

-Turn and face it

-Then move without hesitation

You will get it!

When you are on fire nothing can stick to you or
slow you down.
This is the fire of enthusiasm. As soon as you get
back home take a refreshing shower and then
breakfast. Look at your goals for the day and get
a move-on

That’s the way to start a GAD!

It’s the same as the internal Energy (Qi).

This is the day you move closer to what you want.

By moving closer to what inspires you, the
cultivation of even more Qi is easy.

Qi Cultivation is more than work.

When you are really being moved by Qi you are
being worked!

This is Dr. Wu Dhi wishing you an excellent day.
Get out there and move your body and breath.

Are You Too Overwhelmed To Looking Younger?

Friday, March 2nd, 2012
Share

In my office, I get questions every day
from patients with all kinds of health problems:
Low energy, feeling bad, joints hurting, skin
looking older, it goes on and on.

I always give the best advice I can, but most of
all set a good example by practicing what I preach
and teach. Every day I work on myself, meditate,
and do exercises to keep my Qi flowing strong.
The downside is that it works so well, some of my
patients look at me and feel like there’s no hope for
them and that I’m too advanced or dedicated and
they can’t relate.

In fact, when you read my newsletter, you might feel
the same – like there’s no way you can practice
everything I do, and that I’m somehow special and different.

Believe me, that is not true.
Wait, actually I AM special and YOU are too!
What I mean is, the dedication I have is something
anyone can achieve as well if they want it enough.)

The truth is, I learned all of these techniques and
secrets over the years. I may look and feel young,
but I am a baby boomer so I’ve had plenty of time for studying.

When I first started, I focused on the few things which
would make the most difference. Only later on, when I
wanted to, did I add in more exercise, meditations,
and positive habits.

What I’m trying to say is: You can build a younger,
more energized, healthier body by starting with just one thing.

Just like one snowflake can start an avalanche, you can
cascade into the body you want.

So I understand you might feel overwhelmed, yet still
ready to take charge of your health, as long as you
know exactly what the first step to take is. Well, a man
I know was in the same position as you. In fact, he
used to be a total skeptic, and had tried all kinds of
methods to improve his health but didn’t stick with any
of them. Then he turned his health around with
just one exercise.
He made a video about it you can watch here:

If you get started with the one secret my friend discovered,
you’ll be so far ahead of the game, just weeks from now
you’ll be getting comments on how much younger and
healthier you look.

I wish you the Best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness

keep Your Eyes Open and Your Big Mouth Shut.

Wednesday, June 1st, 2011

Many years ago my master
warned me to keep my eyes
open and my mouth shut.

He would say, “Guarding your
speech is as important as guarding your life.
What ever you say, when you say it and who
you say it to can get you killed, or save your life.”

I remember I was a blabbermouth
and my teacher gave me an assignment to
control my speech and break me out of
a habit for over talking.

At first it seemed like an easy exercise to me.
I thought I could do it for the assigned time of
12 hours without any problem, but it was
more difficult than I imagined.
Before I really made a commitment
to train myself, my mind was jumping
from one thought to the next, like a monkey
jumping from branch to branch chattering as
I went from one subject to the next.

Here is the exercise the master had me do:
He told me to take a penny, wash it and
put it on my tongue and hold that penny on
the roof of my mouth.

I was told to be sure to take it out of
my mouth to eat and drink.
It’s a way to train the mind,
to stop the mind from chattering and a
way to guard your speech.

When we talk and talk and talk and talk
we lose a tremendous amount of energy.

The 3 ways we lose the most of our energy is:

1. Through our digestion
– over eating is an energy sucker.

2. Sexual activity
– too much too often can zap you and age you prematurely.

3. Over talking, your speech, and what you say
– Guarding your speech is most important of the three.

When we are trying to make changes in our lives,
no matter if it’s mentally, physically, emotionally
or spiritually, we will run into some resistance.
Our bodies are like robots and we like doing the
same things over and over. It makes no difference
if those habits are good or not, the body / mind likes
doing what it does.

Now, how can we make those positive changes
that we all want in our Health, Wealth and Happiness?
There is a way and it really works.

1st is Education and 2nd is Training.

With the right instructions and the correct
Practice, you can change just about anything
and be in control of most situations in your life.
The easiest way to get permanent change
is to change the body first.
That’s where the commitment comes in.
If you want to change, you need to do something
to make those changes.

Body first, then mind and spirit.

The combination of the three will
make and hold the permanent changes in your life.

I have found that Qi Gong Practices include all three.
It trains the physical to be more flexible and supple,
it opens up the flow of energy in the meridians and
quiets the mind.

When I was first introduced to Qi Gong, it blew my socks off.
My hand chakras opened, my meditations improved and I
became much more flexible in both body and mind.
I started my Qi Gong training in
Flying Crane Qi Gong and
I still do it to this day.

This is different

This morning I was working out in the garden and I asked
myself “What’s the strongest medicine I can give to you in an
email.”
I haven’t figured that out yet but here’s the start of it.

I want to start by giving you a few extra Qi Gong pointers by
email.

This will also be of assistance to all of you who practice Qi
Gong but have never worked out with the Miami group.

First let’s consider why Qi Gong is so important and remind
ourselves why Qi Gong is different than any other form of
exercise.

Qi Gong and the Recharging Qi Gong in particular is designed to
activate the flow of Qi in your body.

Just like in acupuncture, when the flow of Qi is returned toyour body

the flow of blood and oxygen is restored. The Recharging Qi Gong is a very active form of Qi Gong that
activates every part of your body.

When the flow of blood and Oxygen is restored all of the fluids
and tissues are restored faster and the ability for your body
to repair itself is optimized.

The better your body can repair itself the better your body can
heal and respond to stress.

The positive response to stress is greater Strength and Energy.

This is what it’s all about.

It’s a workout and a rewiring of the Qi at the same time.

These nonlinear movements never cut the force of Qi or fold the
Qi back on itself like many exercises do.

Yes, some forms of movement and exercise can block the flow of
Qi and injure the body.
A great number of my patients are very active people that
injure or cramp the energy flow in the body and eventually
produce some aliment or inexplicable pain in the body that
nobody else can resolve.

Many patients think I’m a miracle working after I plunk a few
acupuncture needles in them and the mystery pain vanishes but
the reality is very simple.

The Qi flow was blocked. Many times these very same patients will come back again and
again to take the kinks out of their Qi.

I don’t even have to ask, I know they haven’t been practicing
the prescriptive exercises I have given them.

The opposite is also true.

There are many people that I have never seen in my office that
have gotten the Recharging Qi Gong, looked at the table of
prescriptive exercises in the back of the book, looked up their
ailment, started practicing the exercise, and all miracles of
miracles the pain is gone.
The proposition here is very simple.

Learn to open the flow of Qi in the body with movement and
meditation and the possibilities are limitless.

The exercises I have put in the Recharging Qi Gong are the
strongest medicine I can deliver and there’s only one place to
get it, here -> http://rechargingqigong.com .

Tomorrow I’m going to tell you about the importance of the
exercise “Warming the Channels” and why this exercise should
never be skipped.

Wishing you Health, Wealth and Happiness,

Dr. Wu Dhi

PS: Here in Miami it’s already getting dark by six and I’ve
had to put our weekly Qi Gong on the Beach class on hold until
I can find an indoor location or a weekend timeslot. Stay tuned.
