Can too much JOY in Your Life make You Sick?

Monday, February 22nd, 2016

Living in the Western world, we all believe that

the emotion of joy is a good thing. Even our songs

exonerate joy, “Joy To The World, “You Are My

Joy”, “Joy! Joy! Joy!”, “Your Joy Is My Love”,

“Let’s Dance To Joy Division”, just to name a few.

According to Webster’s, joy is “a feeling of great

pleasure and happiness, and delight”.

Too much Joy can injure the Heart

Too much Joy can injure the Heart

When one is excessively joyful, the spirit

scatters and can no longer be stored. Joy refers

to a state of agitation or over-excitement and

over-stimulation. This can lead to problems of the

heart and disturb the fire (yang), water (yin),

and balance of the entire body, causing symptoms

of insomnia, mania, palpitations, worry, tension

and excessive consumption. Moderation is the key

word here – not too hot, not too cold, not too

dry, not too wet, not too fast, not too slow. If

you think of someone who is manic, they have

trouble sleeping, they may talk excessively and

very fast, they may have trouble connecting with

other people and it leads to depression, and they

go up and down like a yoyo. On the other hand, too

little joy can injure the heart as well. Cold-hearted people

will have an excessive craving and can’t stop buying,

eating or whatever they are obsessing on at the moment.

I know a fellow who can’t stop his mind. He is

brilliant and quite successful in material things.

He can’t sleep, can’t stop buying things, and is

obsessive-compulsive. And now, the heart fire is

causing problems with his earth element, the

stomach and the spleen. This has put the poor guy

on antidiabetic medicine for the rest of his life.

From the outside, you would imagine that he has a

great life, but the obsessive behavior is causing

more health problems than you could shake a stick

at. Overthinking is causing the sleeping problems

and the tendency to over-consume. This is a form

of mania and can go into depression, headaches,

and dizziness.

The heart is fire and the kidneys are water. If

the heart is excessive, the water of the kidney is

depleted, bringing up the emotion of fear and

worry. This situation can be a time bomb if not

corrected. But it’s not hopeless. There are

meditations, exercises and foods that will help

bring the body and mind back into balance. I would

start out by getting a copy of a few of my

best-selling and most effective programs, “The

Internal Mantra Program”

Happiness.

Is your Cholesterol too high?

Monday, September 16th, 2013

The more you read and study what’s going on in the
American medical system and who they are in bed
with, (the drug companies) you begin to wonder…
“What happens if I get sick? Who can I trust?”
I was speaking to Linda last week and she told me
a story that I could hardly believe. She went to
see her doctor for her annual check up. A few days
later her doctor’s office called and wanted her to
make another appointment to go over her blood
work. When she got to the office she was told that
her LDL cholesterol was over 200 and she had to go
on drugs immediately.

Linda has been healthy most of her life; she eats
a good diet and exercises every day and really
didn’t want to go on medicine that has been proven
to cause liver damage and many other side effects.
She told her doctor thank you but I am not going
to take the medicine.

A few months later she got a cancellation notice
from her health insurance company claiming that
she was at high risk and they could no longer
cover her.

Linda said, I have been with this company since I
was living with my parents and that’s been years
and years ago. So she called to find out what
happened, it seemed that the insurance company got
a notice that she refused to take the drugs
prescribed by her medical doctor and stated she
was at risk for heart disease.

They strongly suggested to her that if she
refused to follow her doctor’s advice and take her
medicine they would be forced to drop her.
For decades, there has been a concern about the
relationship between LDL cholesterol and heart
disease and how it has affected everything from
the food we eat to the drugs we take to the test
results we get back and the worries we have about
our health.

IMG_2133
1. Cholesterol forms part of cellular membranes
and is involved in allowing or preventing critical
nutrients from entering the cell and this in turn
affects cellular function.
2. The brain and central nervous system are mostly
made of cholesterol.
3. The sex hormones: progesterone, estrogen and
testosterone are all derived from and structurally
related to cholesterol.
4. The sex hormones and the adrenal glands are
derived from cholesterol.
5. Cholesterol is also a p recursor for Vitamin D

The LDL (bad cholesterol) preachers have many of
us swallowing the most-prescribed class of drugs
in recent history.

Americans spend more than $14 billion on
cholesterol-lowering medications a year and it’s
growing each year. In fact Cholesterol control has
become the main focus of health care in the United
States. No mater if it’s necessary or not, if your
blood work is out of range you are going to be
prescribed a cholesterol-lowering drug… Bottom
line it’s making a lot of money for the drug
companies.

Of course some cholesterol are relatively safe and
some are dangerous. If you treat them all the
same, you aren’t going to get the true story but
many people are going to get medicated need it or
not.

There are many natural ways you can try to handle
your cholesterol without taking drugs:

1.Drink a cup or two of green tea daily
2.Use a dry brush on your body daily
3.Jump on a small trampoline for 5 minutes a
day
4.Try Red Rice yeast and niacin
5.Quit smoking
6.Take Herbs
7.Lower your intake of meat, butter, cream milk
and cheese to lower saturated fats in your diet.
8.Take Omega 3 fatty acids
9.Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables to add
more soluble fiber to your diet.
10.Reduce Sugar
11.Lose Weight
12.Drink vegetable juices

Take responsibility for your own health and
without a doubt you will get healthier. But you
must work at it! Exercise daily, eat more
vegetables, and drink clean water.

Need More Energy?

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011

We all want to increase our energy levels.
Here is my formula that works like a charm.

First let’s look at what is the biggest
energy sucker.
The thief that steals your energy the most
and leaves you exhausted.

STRESS!

Stress can cause a multitude of problems like:
Pain of any kind
Heart disease
Digestive problems
Sleep problems
Depression
Obesity
Auto immune diseases
Skin conditions, such as eczema

Stress has dramatic effects on energy
and can turn your world upside down.
The medical treatment people always suggest
is that you reduce your stress as much as possible,
an easy statement to make but harder to deliver
unless you have the proper education and training.

Here are 6 formulas to transform
stress into personal
power,regain and rebuild your Energy.

1.Start by identifying the things that stress you
out; this is the first step towards eliminating
them.

Make a list to start changing and eliminating
these energy suckers.

*What re-occurring things stress you out?
*Which people and what activities
cause stress in your life?
*What foods seem to give you more stress?

See which of them can be eliminated,
changed or do less of them.
Make a plan on what you will do daily in order
to keep yourself fit, mentally, physically,
and spiritually and follow it.
Discipline your monkey mind to follow your
chosen de-stressor health program.
This will start to release blocked energy
and increase your energy.

Follow the exercises and meditations in the
www.TurnStressintopower.com program.
It can be your guide.

2.Choose Energy Producing Foods
If you just got a new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster,
you would not put the cheapest gas in it,
would you? You’d put in the best you could find.

Your body is the same so don’t fill it up on
cheap food.
I haven’t been into a fast food restaurant
in 25 years and all my parts still run like
a fine tuned machine.
If you treat your body as a temple
by keeping it clean and offer it only the best
foods,it will work years with no break downs
and will have incredible power.

But as the saying goes, “if you put Junk
in you will only get Junk out!”
It’s important to pay attention
to the timing of when you eat, and what you eat.
This is a major factor in your energy levels.

Never skip breakfast! Your body needs good
clean fuel to run properly.

I eat as soon as I finish my morning workout.
I usually drink a protein drink in the morning
to get going if I don’t have time to sit down
and have a meal.
It has 18 grams of protein in it and
all the amino acids. I’ll just add 1 scoop of
“Greens First” to the mix to get all my
fruits and veggies.
Sugar filled cereals are not fuel;
they burn too quickly and leave you flat in
no time. Poached eggs are a good choice because
they are low in fat, high in protein and
will keep your energy up.
Our bodies thrive on variety, so mix it up
fruit one day, eggs the next and power protein
drink a few days a week.
Skip the high fat desserts after dinner–
this will drain your energy and make you fat.

3. Exercise regularly,
but make sure you are doing the right exercises.
I find that a Qi Gong workout will
give you much more energy in the
long run than running or heavy
weight lifting. Those exercises can
cause injury too often. If I lift I
do light weights and instead of running,
I’ll do walking and short fast sprints.
Qi Gong will increase your internal power
and charge up your batteries.

That’s why I put together the
Recharging Qi Gong program www.rechargingqigong.com.
It will increase your energy and Qi flow.

You will see that within one month you will
boost your energy ten fold and keep yourself
healthy on every level.

I usually do my practice of the
Flying Crane Qi Gong at sunset www.Flyingcraneqigong.com.
This will chill you out with real mellow energy.
I have found that it gives one much better sleep,
better dreams and puts you in a meditative state
very easily. The more consistent you become,
the more energy you will have.

4. Shut the Boob tube off!
It’s a giant energy sucker.
If you’re a TV junkie, wake up
because it’s addicting just like hard drugs.
Switch it off by 9 O’ clock because it
will steal your energy for sure!
Also, watch out for your computer as well,
it has energy sucking qualities that can
sneak up on you and drain your juice as well.

These brain drains keep your brain stimulated
late into the evening and will rob you of a restful
sleep and important dream time.
A far more beneficial way to unwind is to read,
listen to classical music and meditate and your
brain will thank you!

If my mind is racing at night, I’ll take
a walk before bed. This will relax you and
increase your energy.

5. Make your bedroom as dark as possible.
The darker your bedroom is the better you will sleep.
Use your bed for sleep and sex that’s it.
If you have other activities you need to do,
do it somewhere else except your sleeping quarters.
These changes will ensure you a
restful sleep and much more productive days.

6. Complete your projects
Every project you have is filled with energy.
The quicker you complete them the more energy
you will get.
They are like little treasure chests but
in order to get the treasure you need to complete
the task. The more tasks you complete the more
energy you will get. But on the other hand if
you have unfinished projects, they drain your
energy until they are finished. So make a list
of all your current projects, what needs to be
done and get going.
As you complete them you see your energy levels
go higher and higher.

Having more energy will change
many aspects of your life and
your thinking. All it takes is the
strong decision to make a change.
You’ll be glad you made these simple changes;
they will improve the quality of your life
and increase your energy.

In The Turn stress into Power program
www.Turnstressintopower.com, you will find
a series of exercises and meditations to
calm your mind and allow you to unwind before bed.
“The Tension Release Exercise” featured in the
program will give you a step by step process to
clear your mind of useless physic tension and clear
your energy pathways.
This will give you a sounder sleep
and you will wake refreshed and full of energy.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness.
