Living Near the Ocean Keeps you Healthy

Living near the Ocean Keeps you Healthy

I have been lucky enough to live just a short
distance from the ocean for years. When you are
living near any large body of water, you see the
world through a different lens. The ocean has
always been really special to me, although I
didn't see it until I was sixteen when a group of
five friends took a Greyhound bus down to Florida
to have some summer fun. I have always been around
big bodies of water, living in Michigan not too
far from the Great Lakes, but the saltwater of the
ocean has some really special healing qualities.

According to a study conducted by the Peninsula
College of Medicine and Dentistry at the
University of Exeterin England, those who live
close to the ocean are healthier than those who
live inland. The report analyzed data from
England's 2001 census consisting of forty-eight
million people, taking into account age, gender,
and socio-economic status. The results indicated
that those who lived in the shore were in finer
fettle than their non-coastal counterparts. The
study concluded that there was an association
between visiting the shore and overall wellness,
but the lead researchers stated that this type of
study could not prove a direct cause and effect.
However, previous scientific studies have focused
on what exactly it is about the coast that
stimulates well-being. Every time a wave crashes
on the shore, you get a waif of salty air that
helps to mineralize the entire body.Living near
the sea increases human health, both mentally and
physically. Ocean air has negatively charged ions
that make you sleep more soundly and become less
stressed. Sunshine gives you endorphins, and
research proves that ocean sounds alter brain wave
patterns to make you calmer.

There aren't many experiences that expose all of
your senses as much as sitting on the beach and
looking out over the sea. My morning trainings on
the beach quiets the mind. Based on studies, when
the brain enters a restful state while looking
at the water, you're able to make new or
unfamiliar connections. You'll get a
one-with-the-universe feeling, allowing you to see
the colors of the sunset or the diamond-like
sparkle of the water more vibrantly than
ever. Swimming in the ocean enhances the immune
system, hydrates the skin, and boosts circulation.
Seawater that is rich in magnesium also has been
shown to relax muscles and helps induce sleep. The
minerals in the sea rejuvenate the entire body and
mind as salt has special properties.

Today, I didn't go near my office. Instead, I
started my day with a walk and training on the
beach, and then went to visit a new halotherapy
spa a.k.a. salt therapy (Halo is Greek for salt.)
Salt therapy is similar to spending time in the
salty sea air which offers many more benefits than
just relaxation on the beach. Ancient healers and
philosophers recommended salt inhalation for the
respiratory system and health problems. Dry salt
therapy originates from speleotherapy (cave
therapy) and the Wieliczka salt cave in Poland,
where workers exhibited fewer respiratory
illnesses. The benefits of salt therapy are
wide-ranging. Salt levels affect our cell
activity, energy, and blood sugar levels. A
natural disinfectant, salt has antimicrobial
properties. Himalayan and Dead Sea salt contain
eighty-four elements found in the human body. Dry
salt air is more powerful than moist air. The
negative-charged ions in salt improve our health
and mood. Inhaling particles may reduce
inflammation and mucus in the lungs, improving
respiratory conditions such as asthma, allergies,
bronchitis, sinus congestion, and Chronic
Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Scientific
studies show that people with asthma and other
ailments breathe easier after halotherapy. The
calming and detoxifying effects of halotherapy can
support the immune, nervous, and lymphatic
systems. The other benefits are reduced stress and
headaches, increased energy, and better sleep
patterns. Salt ions purify the air and may
increase lung capacity and reduce physical
ailments in adults and children. Skin conditions
can also be improved with halotherapy including
psoriasis, rashes, eczema, and acne. Table salt or
sodium chloride is dehydrating, but pure mineral
salts have natural moisturizing properties that
support the skins water balance and barrier
function by attracting moisture to the skin.
Minerals are necessary for cell function and
detoxification, and mineral salts have strong
rejuvenating properties.

When I got there, I was asked to take my shoes off
and remove everything from my pockets and relax in
a large lounge chair. The floor was covered with
five inches of pure white salt, and all the walls
were caked with salt.A fine salt mist was blowing
in the room as the lights were lowered and soft
music was playing. I began my Qi Gong meditation
by tracing the meridians in my mind and then
creating a protective energetic force field around
myself. I then went into the Wu Zang meditation
for energetic protection.

All these are part of the Qi Gong Inner Circle
that is taking on a new face. The DVD format is
changing to a download version. This will save
time in shipping, and I can get you teachings that
are less expensive. We have four people working on
the new Qi Gong Inner Circle

My first meeting with the meditation group was
awesome. Although I was a bit nervous as I only
spoke a few words in Spanish, the translator that
I worked with had a great command of both Spanish
and English and put me at ease.

I came to Venezuela to bring the South American
group up to speed with the North American
meditation group. This was my first residential
assignment where I actually lived in the city
center and taught meditation for five mornings and
two nights a week. Every month, I also taught a
workshop on health, internal exercises, and
advanced Qi gong practices, and much more. The
teachings were based on Tibetan Buddhism, the
Taoist systems and the teachings of Swami
Rudrananda (Rudy). Rudy taught an eclectic blend
of techniques he called "kundalini yoga" (no
formal relation to the Indian tradition by that
name). If you aren't familiar with Rudy's
teachings, pick up a copy of his book, Spiritual
Cannibalism. The other meditation techniques and
teachings were based on His Holiness
Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. He was
a Vajrayan master, scholar, poet, teacher, and
head of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. I
was fortunate enough to get his personal blessing
on two different occasions. The Dalai
Lama regarded him as his principal teacher in the
Nyingma tradition and of Dzogchen. The teachings
included the six perfections:
 1.Generosity
 2.Ethics
3.Forbearance/ Patience
4.joyfulendeavour diligence
5.Meditation
6. Discriminating wisdom
There is a saying in the Orient that a person
needs all six before he goes from this shore
Meditation of Samsara, the endless cycle of suffering
caused by birth, death, and re-birth,
to the further shore or Nirvana.
If you haven't heard of Nirvana,
it is the place free from suffering and
a place of individual incredible existence.

The ritual includes repentance of past karma
and prayers for enlightenment in the next life.

Change Stress and Trauma into Personal Power

Change Stress and Trauma into Personal Power

When you are confronted with a big trauma in your life, you may feel a host of emotions all at once. The fight-or-flight response kicks in. This was first described by Walter Cannon in the 1920’s as a theory that animals react to threats with a general discharge of the sympathetic nervous system. The response was later recognized as the first stage of a general adaptation syndrome that regulates responses among vertebrates and other organisms. The onset of a stress response is associated with specific physiological actions in the sympathetic nervous system from the medulla of the adrenal glands. These hormones facilitate immediate physical reactions by triggering increases in heart rate and breathing, constricting blood vessels, and tightening muscles. One behavior often related to this is going into battle mode or hightailing out of the situation as quickly as possible. When this stress response is triggered, you become highly aware and attentive to the environment around you. This is a normal response if you are in danger but, in today’s world, there are many situations that just stress you out. Our brain sends signals to get you out of the place you are in or to get ready for a fight. The tendency is to engage or run, and that may not work for you at your job or with your husband or wife. Your adrenals are then overtaxed and, the next thing you know is your life is upside down and you are stressed out. All the emotions can be affected: anger, worry, depression, sadness, grief, anxiety, and fear. They seem to be activated all at once, leaving you a total wreck. This is the time you are really, really vulnerable to injuring  yourself or someone close to you. STRESS KILLS! Want a way out? Of course you do! Get the “Turn Stress Into Power” Book and DVD http://rechargingqigong.com/turn-stress-into-power.html and sharpen your tools to turn your stress into personal power.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and Happiness.

Getting Tough with Qigong

Getting Tough with Qigong

Today, a student asked me if I knew how to control

pain using Qi Gong. I referred him to a blog that

I sent out a few years ago…

As a kid growing up in Detroit, you learned how to

be tough at an early age. Even if I got in a fight

or got hurt, I learned how to control pain. That

was something I learned early.

How to GET TOUGH!

You may remember those old dentist offices where

they had those old cable drills. Well, that’s what

my dentist had in his old, creepy office, those

old-time cable drills that move really slowly with

a loud, buzzing noise. Dr. Feldman told my mother,

who seemed to believe everything that he said,

that kids didn’t need Novocain or anything else

for pain. He told her, Kids don’t really feel any

pain from the drilling.” So, we never got the

numbing stuff. I learned how to move my internal

energy in my body to avoid pain at an early age

just to survive those early days of torture at the

Dentist. It wasn’t exactly the water board

technique, but with my eyes closed I could imagine it was close.

I still use the technique to avoid pain.

To the amazement of my current dentist, I never take Novocain.

I was working out with a group of students about a

month ago showing some of the advanced techniques

of internal Qi Gong and how to strike not at

things but through things. I got distracted by a

question from a senior student when a newbie

cold cocked me on the right on my jaw. Ouch!

I didn’t give it much attention and re-channeled the

pain and went on with the instructions. A few days

went by and I was feeling some discomfort in my mouth and I went to the dentist to have it checked. It turned

out that I had a broken a tooth and it needed to be

pulled. When I said, “No Novocain” the

Dentist and the assistant turned white. After some

discussion and seeing that it wasn’t going to

happen without me agreeing to let them give me at

least a quarter of a dose, I agreed for there

sake. I then went into a deep meditation and

before I knew it the tooth was out. I did much

better than the doctor and her assistant. In fact,

I gave her a call the next day to check on her anxiety

Level. She was fine but still didn’t

believe that the process didn’t bother me.

Over the last six decades, I have studied and

learned many techniques from the ancient cultures

on how to move, remove, divert, and avoid pain in

many different levels — mentally, physically,

emotionally and locked in spiritual pain. Some of

these systems I have discovered out of necessity;

others are drawn from the Taoist and Tibetan

systems as well as alchemy,Chinese medicine and

the secret teachings of Ayurveda medicine.

These and other internal Qi Gong exercises are

what I teach to the Qi Gong Inner Circle members.

totally thrilled with the teachings, you can

The Art of Living mA Life Filled with Spirit

I was at Art Wynnewood this past weekend over
President’s Day. Miami always offers a lot to see
in the way of art. There was an array of works
from street artists and muralists, emerging young
talents, and a few renowned contemporary and
modern artists. This is the first year I visited
this show. They have a unique approach
characterized by an exhibition on the sixties
focusing on Miami’s institutions. I noticed there
was a lot of Chinese art which focused on the
three stages of life: Birth, Middle Age, and
Death.

Most of us have no idea how rare it is to take
birth in human form and waste this precious and
extremely rare opportunity for self-realization.
There is a story entitled “A Blind Turtle in
Search of a Floating Wood.” In the Mahaparinirvana
Sutra, the Buddha used the metaphor of a blind
turtle in a vast ocean to explain how difficult it
is to be reborn as a human. Suppose there is a
small piece of wood floating on a vast ocean. The
wood has a small hole the size of which is just
enough for the head of a turtle to pop into. There
is a long-lived sea turtle in the ocean. Once
every one hundred years, this turtle comes out
from the bottom of the ocean and pops his head
into the hole of the wood. It is just as hard as
for the blind turtle to encounter the small piece
of wood on a vast ocean and let its head go
through the hole in the wood piece as it is to be
born as a human.

We don’t realize what an opportunity we have been
gifted and, unfortunately, most people send the
gift back unopened. Yet, despite this fact, most
waste this extremely rare and precious
opportunity. A human life that is spent merely
sleeping, eating, and procreating is no better
than the life of an animal. To really use the gift
of life, one must be open and be able to free
oneself from the three poisons of Worry, Struggle,
and Blame. There is a famous teaching and mantra
that does just that – frees one of the entrapments
of life and our ego fixations. This teaching is a
must to have a spiritual life.

How Olives Can Bring You Back To Your Roots

How Olives Can Bring You Back To Your Roots

I was at dinner tonight with some friends from

Venezuela. Rosa was telling us about her trip to

Croatia. I had to ask her where Croatia is, as I

am a little rusty on my geography. She said,

“That’s where my family is from. It’s a country

with a population of around four million people at

the crossroads of Central Europe, Southeast Europe

and the Mediterranean. My family lives on a little

island in the Adriatic Sea. When I was very young,

my father moved us to Venezuela. He lived there

with my mother and sister until Venezuela became

too radical and dangerous. That’s when they

returned to their homeland.” Rosa was telling me

that her niece now lives on the island with her

young family and has decided to tend the olive

trees that her great, great grandfather had

planted. “My niece has always been an adventurer,

living outside of the box, and she loves to

commune with nature and the nature spirits.”

I imagine picking olives is a task in itself. It

takes around an hour to pick a bucket of olives.

They say that a skilled olive picker can do way

more than that. I guess she will have to pick up

the pace. With over a hundred olive trees, picking

will be your activity for a good bit of the day.

To make olive oil, there are many steps, and you

have to know when to pick the olives to get the

best tasting oil. They let the olives fall on a

large cloth, and then they take them down to the

sea to wash them, just like they have been doing

for hundreds of years. When they are dry, they are

juiced and pressed into oil. I bet it’s just

delicious.

That kind of lifestyle is uncomplicated but

labor-intensive. My friends asked me what I

thought about that kind of life. I told her that

when I was in my twenties, I moved my family to a

little town in Colorado called Telluride, with a

population of only four hundred. We had no phone

in our home, only three TV stations that we hardly

ever watched, and we were a two-hour drive to the

nearest grocery store. Life was great. I spent

many hours in nature every day.  If you

are open to it, you can change patterns that keep

you younger and stronger than people living in big

cities. But what if you are living in a big city

and have to deal with all the noise pollution,

traffic, cell phone chatter, and a very poor air

quality? What can you do to achieve a healthy

mental, physical and spiritual life and be in

alignment with nature and the universe?

You can learn something from a turtle. This is a

good way to quiet your mind and slow things down.

Imagine you can retract your head, arms, and legs

into your core like the turtle does when they go

into their shell. This visualization can instantly

bring you into a meditative state. Next, start

following your breath as it comes in. Imagine a

cooling, white light, calming and relaxing all the

muscles in your body. As you exhale, go into a

deeper place of relaxation, imagining a blue light

coming out of every pore of your body,

Olives can be a key to getting you back to nature

Olives can be a key to getting you back to nature

You don’t have to do this for a

long time; just five minutes daily is enough to

start a process of clearing out the gunk and

energizing the Qi. You will find that after

practicing for a few weeks, you will want more and

more of this deep cleaning and relaxing work. The

internal exercises of Qi gong will change you from

the inside out.

I have put together three different programs into

one package that will open up new pathways for

you. Download them right now and begin to feel the

difference.

Balance of Body, Mind, Spirit, and the Universe

Balance of Body, Mind, Spirit, and the Universe

If you want to stay healthy and avoid illness, you
have to have a good relationship with your body
and mind. The key is being in balance with the
universe. That is how we define health. We have to
take into account other influences like diet,
seasonal changes, our activities, psychological
conditions, our personal relationships as well as
our relationship with cosmic influences and even
unseen forces and spiritual conditions that
influence us. Our present and past karma also
influence our health – mentally, physically, and
spiritually. Every activity of the body, speech
and mind, both conscious and unconscious, is
believed to create its inevitable results in this
life or in our future lives. You could come into
this life with an illness that was not resolved in
one of your past lives.

Every four and a half minutes, a baby is born with
a birth defect in the United States. Birth defects
are structural changes present at birth that can
affect almost any part or parts of the body (e.g.,
heart, brain, foot). They may affect how the body
looks, works, or both. Birth defects can vary from
mild to severe. The well-being of each child
affected with a birth defect depends mostly on
which organ or body part is involved and how much
it is affected. Depending on the severity of the
defect and what body part is affected, the
expected lifespan of a person with a birth defect
may vary. The organs all have a mental and
emotional component to them. A child born with
lung problems may have had extreme sadness and
grief that were not resolved in a past life and
has taken birth again to cure or resolve the
problem. If the disease is in the kidneys, the
emotion affected would be fear. If the problem
involves the liver, it would be associated with
unresolved anger. The heart is connected with
anxiety while the spleen with worry.

Some diseases are said to have purely spiritual or
karmic causes. These diseases very seldom respond
to traditional medicine and need to be addressed
with medical Qi gong or a more spiritual
treatment. It includes meditation, yoga, Qi Gong,
or seeing a lama, priest, or guru who is trained
in resolving this type of karmic disorder. The
Medical Qi gong practices that I have been trained
address such problems and help to resolve them. If
you need more information, call my office at
305-407-0120 and we will set up an appointment to
clear blockage and resolve the karma the best way
we can.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and
Happiness.

Stone Magic

In ancient China, understanding the mineral world was considered to be one of the most powerful levels of magic. Our planet Earth’s vibration is derived from the thousands of minerals deposited within its crust. Each rock and most minerals have structure that will store, collect, and realize energy.

Minerals have three componStone Magicents, just like our body, mind, and spirit: spiritual, energetic, and physical. They have an influence on our mental, emotional, and physical energies as well as how we vibrate. The vibration of the mineral will vary according to its color, size, shape, weight, and structure, and is also affected by our vibration.

My adventure this week at the Tucson Rock and Mineral show has enhanced my knowledge of the mineral world which I will be sharing more with you in the coming weeks. There are minerals and crystals that will assist in building up your immune system, stones to get rid of nightmares, and rocks to protect you from negative energies. I know that, for a fact, many of the minerals are used for medicine, and to ground a restless spirit, if needed.

Well, let me get back to finding out more information that I will be sharing with you soon.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and Happiness.

Dr. Wu Dhi

P.S. If you or one of your children have been plagued with nightmares, no need to worry anymore. Write me and let me know what’s going on so we can solve the problem and even do a remote healing, and get you the right mineral to end them once and for all.

Protecting Your Living Space

Is your living space protected?

Is your living space protected?

Protection in  Your Living Space

When you move into a new home, you need

protection. It doesn’t matter if it’s an

apartment, a townhouse, or single dwelling. The

first thing you want to do is clear the space and

the property. Old, stale energy can linger for

decades and cause problems to your health and

well-being.

A few years ago, I heard a story of a Chinese

family that moved into a new home in Brooklyn.

Everything was going well, and mother, father, and

son were quite happy. When their son turned

sixteen, they remodeled the apartment that was

above their garage, and the teenage boy moved in.

That’s when strange things began to happen. The

boy’s personality changed radically. He became

very insecure, depressed, and cried all the time.

His parents took him to the doctor, and they put

him on anti-depressant which did no good. The boy

fell into an even deeper depression and cried for

days with no apparent reason if he had to leave

his room. His schoolwork was neglected, and he

refused to eat or leave his apartment. All he

wanted to do is stay in his new, little apartment,

and he began to wither away. Finally, his parents

took him back to China to see their family

doctor.

The doctor’s clinic was in the country, around

fifty miles from the airport. After a long, bumpy

ride, they checked in to their hotel and went to

sleep. But when they got up the next morning, the

boy was gone. The police were notified, and the

search began. The authority had no luck finding

him until two days later, he was found wondering

around at the airport, walking all the way back by

himself at night and was trying to get back home.

The parents were beside themselves and didn’t know

what to do. They returned home, and a friend

suggested contacting the old owners of the house

to see if there was anything they could tell them

about the house. They told the Chinese couple that

their grandfather lived with them until he got too

much for them to handle. He lived in that

apartment until they moved him into an old folks’

home. He didn’t want to go and begged them not to

send him away. They had to force him to leave. He

refused to eat and cried and cried. Two days after

they moved him into the old folks’ home, he died

and cursed his grandchildren for making him leave

his apartment and swore he’d be back. This new

information freaked out the Chinese family, so

they contacted a Qi Gong doctor. Sure enough, the

old man has possessed the boy and was sucking out

his life force. The Qi Gong doctor was able to

release the spirit and harmonized all the energies

that have been there for millenniums. That’s what

I call a Feng Shui house clearing.

http://www.on2url.com/lnk?MTgxNjUxNHwxMzAzNDU3OTN8cz0x

I cleared my home before I moved in. Now that I

have been living in my new house for ninety days,

it’s time to build an energetic pyramid over and

under the house. It’s called an octahedron,

a three-dimensional shape having eight planes,

especially a regular, solid figure with eight

equal, triangular faces, and shaped like a

diamond. Now I have to collect some very special

crystals, so I am headed out West this week. I

am going to the world’s biggest treasure hunt, The

Tucson Gem and Mineral Show in Arizona. Tucson is

the place of international gem and mineral

trading, buying, and bargains. I heard there are

more than forty sites, from giant halls to hotels

and sprawling camps of roadside exhibit tents

filled with crystals and gems. Two weeks of

mineral madness, pulling in thousands of treasure

hunters from every corner of the globe. I plan to

pick up just the right crystals to energetically

harmonize my home and property. What I will do is

get the right gems. When I return, I’ll perform the ritual

ceremonies necessary to improve the energy flow in

my home, harmonize the environment for my optimum

living, and raise the vibration of my home to increase

my personal luck and to avoid any negative influences,

such as geopathic stress and EMF pollution. The

energetic octahedron is similar to Israeli Iron Dome

and acts as a protector above and below.

If you want your home, office, and family

protected in every way, don’t forget about the

energy that you are being bombarded with

daily. http://www.on2url.com/lnk?MTgxNjUxNXwxMzAzNDU3OTN8cz0x

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and

The Movies can Change Your Life

UnknownThe Movies can Change Your Life

If I walk west from my house, in around 10
minutes, I am in the center of the town of
Hollywood, Florida. On the main street, there is
an old movie theater. Maybe they have 50 seats
maximum and there is only one room to show the
movie. That’s how movie theaters were when I was a
kid. It’s a pleasure not having to go to the mall,
find a place to park, deal with pushy people
fighting for a place to park, and wait in long
lines to get into one of the 10 or 15 movies
offered.

I saw Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel in a
delightful movie called “Youth” www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mO512ruvqs.

I highly
recommend seeing it. The story tells about a
retired orchestra conductor who is on holiday with
his daughter and his film director best friend in
the Alps when he receives an invitation from Queen
Elizabeth II to perform for Prince Philip’s
birthday. The two friends reflect on their lives
while vacationing in the Swiss Alps. It is a story
of the eternal struggle between age and youth, the
past and the future, life and death.

The aging process is normal and the only thing
that stops it is early death. That sucks. But if
you follow the right program, there is no reason
you can’t slow down aging and improve the quality
of your life. You can keep your brain sharp, your
memory intact, and your body pain-free into your
sixties, seventies, and eighties, and even when
you are into your nineties.

Here are a few things you should start doing now:
1. Increase your intake of water.
2. Eliminate all processed foods.
3. Read more.
4. Smile more.
5. Play games like chess, cards, Go, and do crossword
puzzles.
6. Do what you enjoy as often as you can.
7. Learn and practice the internal exercises.

I have been practicing Qi Gong for the last 35
years, long before it became a buzzword in the
Americas. I have managed to keep my brain in
tiptop shape and my body pain-free. If you are not
practicing or don’t know about Qi Gong, I suggest
starting out with this great program that I put
together called the Flying Crane Qi Gong. It
includes 2 DVDs about the practice and detailed
instructions, and a CD on Qi Gong meditation.
