Avoid the three poisons of worry, struggle and blame

You’ve come up with a great idea, you took months,
even years to put it together, you did your
research, made the right contacts and everything
is set to go. There has been a tremendous amount
of planning and preparation done in order to get
your project ready for the big launch. You are
about to take the final leap of faith into the
abyss praying that everything will go as you
expected. That’s when it happened the
hole-freaking thing seemed to crumble right before
your eyes.

“NOW WHAT?”
We may not be able to control a lot of things in
our lives, but one thing you can always control is
how you respond to a situation.

1. Take responsibility for the situation and avoid
the three poisons of worry, struggle and blame.
a. Worry -is just negative visualization and
whatever we visualize is what we bring into our
life. The key is to focus on what you want, not
what you don’t want.
b. Struggle- When you feel that you will be
left out of something or not have enough, one
becomes greedy, jealous and life seems like a
struggle.
c. Blame- When you accuse others for your
problems and anything that doesn’t go your way.
Take ownership of your circumstance as a stance
and posture towards your situation.
2. Analyze where the breakdowns happened.
Acknowledge where you are now and decide where you
want to go from here. Ask yourself this, how can I
do it better? What have I learned? What’s the next
step?
“Turn your Stops into Steps.”
3. Take Action! –After you have taken
images of your circumstances and evaluated
your mistakes, it’s time for action. Get up and
keep moving forward. What are the most important
things you should be doing- Keep life as simple as
you can and keeping the focus where it needs to
be. Keep up with your practices
4. Be grateful for what you have, for the
opportunity to learn and grow and get going again
ASAP.
The one who wins the fight is the one who is still
standing at the end.

I have had projects that I thought couldn’t fail,
they did.
I had projects that I thought would never work,
they worked.
The only projects that never work are the ones
that you don’t work.

I always take time out for a few essentials-SLEEP,
TRAINING, and TO PUT THE BEST FUEL IN MY BODY I
CAN FIND. (Diet)
The training that works the quickest and will give
you the most power are Internal exercises, the
Recharging Qi Gong and the Flying Crane Style Qi
Gong programs.

How to change your Stinkin’ Thinkin’

What you do in the first few minutes of your day
sets the tone for the rest of it. This is why it
is important to begin your day with thoughts of
happiness, success, great health and prosperity.

As soon as your feet hit the ground, you want to
be hurled into the realm of success in all aspects
of your life – Mentally, physically and
spiritually. Accomplish something great today.

Don’t procrastinate for one second more.
Do it now. No more dawdling.

Set a daily goal especially a daily fitness goal.
And if you achieve that goal first thing in the
morning,
the rest of the day is going to be awesome.

Yesterday my friend Andy was in a slump.
He told me that he was going to hit the Gym the
first thing in the morning and he did!
He chose to make things work for him 100% and the
workout changed him.

I have a patient who is complaining about her
situation, her health and her husband. She said
her brain is not good. I told her it’s not your
brain that’s no good it’s the programming of your
brain.

Stinking Thinking, that’s what Zig zigler called
it.

The type of thinking that causes problems:

1. All-or-nothing thinking
2. Over generalization
3. Pick out a single negative detail and dwell on it
4. Discounting the positive
5. Being negative when there are no facts to
support your conclusion
6. Magnification is the importance of your
problems
7. Assuming that your negative emotions
necessarily reflect the way things really are
8. Blaming others and not taking responsibility
for an event, they blame other people or their
circumstances for their problems

Want to make changes in your Brain?
Become more flexible in body and mind.

I have two outside cats that I feed every morning.
They stretch hundreds of times per day and they do
it as soon as they wake up.

You, my friend, would be well advised to do
likewise.

Doing so will not only increase you strength and
flexibility – but it will
ENERGIZE you for hours and will open some more
flexibility in your brain as well.

I’m betting you’d like some of that good ENERGY.
Well,
Move your body the way it wants to be moved.
Stretch like a cat and you’ll know why cats
stretch the way they do.

By the way, you can learn all about this form of
exercise in my Recharging Qi Gong Program book,
CD’s and DVDs.

The Sky is Falling

It’s been raining in Miami for almost two weeks.
One day they said that we got as much as 10 inches of rain.
This is the end of the rainy season and we still got the
hurricane threats for the next three weeks. I live on one
of the barrier islands and if we get a storm, I have to evacuate.
Anyway, last week I was sleeping and I heard a strange
sound in my house. I couldn’t imagine what it was!
At first I thought that it was one of the stray cats that
got in or possibly a burglar.

I jumped out of bed, grabbed
my Samurai sword and went into the living room, and
much to my surprise, the roof was leaking! It was making
a clatter as well as a mess. I immediately put pots and pans
and anything that I had under all of the drips
and called the roofer.
He came out the next day and patched the roof. Then it took another

3 weeks before the dry wall guy came and the painter guy to fix the inside.

I spent all of last weekend finally cleaning the entire house.
Sunday I finally hung my artwork back on the walls and with a
feeling of completion I went to sleep.

Early Monday morning around 5 am I heard a giant crash,
I jumped out of my bed, ran into the living room and noticed
that 20% of the ceiling had fallen down and the house was
leaking again. I was not a happy camper.
In fact, I was beside myself!
I couldn’t wait until 8 o’clock to call the roofer and
report my findings. He told me that he couldn’t come
out for two weeks as he was on a job and there was
nothing you could do. That morning I went to the beach
and trained for 2 ½ hours to rebalance my energy. Once I
realized that the circumstances were out of my control, I
moved everything out of the living room, again. I covered the
floor with plastic, bought a de-humidifier, put buckets down
and moved to a nice hotel on the beach. It’s beautiful here, I’m
less than 100 feet from the ocean and I train in the morning.

“And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.
Without the rain, there would be no rainbow.”
Author Unknown

In fact, I’m training more than usual, taking my vitamins, and
doing my meditations. This doesn’t change the situation with my
roof or my house, but I’m calm, relaxed and the situation that was
out of control is now being handeld by the roofer and the insurance company.
So I’ve taken a very stressful situation and turned it around to make
my health and well-being much more powerful.
I’ve turned my STRESS into POWER. Life is
always changing and we always have things that are out of control.
Nature causes floods, fires cause destruction and natural disasters
happen to all of us at one point or another in our life.

Students and patients often ask me, “How can I control my life, so
situations like this don’t cause me excess stress and ill health?”
I’ve been teaching these precious exercises to thousands of students
and patients throughout the years to teach them how to turn their
STRESS into POWER and now I have put together a program called
Turn Stress into Power!

It includes a book with all of these exercises, meditations and
ways to distress your body, mind and spirit and made a DVD to
show you exactly how to do the program. Grab your copy today at
