The story of the two monks

Monday, July 16th, 2012
Share

A long time ago, two devoted monks found themselves bound
together, travelling by foot across a vast land.

After travelling for many days without a break for many
miles, they came across a barely clothed woman sitting by the
side of the river, crying.

The woman turned to them and explained how she must get
back across the river to her children, but because she is too
weak and poor, with barely any clothes… she doesn’t think
she can safely overcome the river with it’s strong currents.

She asks if the monks can please help her across, letting them
know how grateful she would be.

The two monks pause and look at one another, and immediately,
the older monk picks up the woman and safely carries her across
the river.

When the older monk returns to his partner, some time later… the
younger monk is staring at him, horrified.

One of the many oaths these monks had taken, was to never
EVER touch a woman.

And the younger monk simply doesn’t understand how the older
monk could, in good conscience, violate this really important
oath.

Being too intimated to ask the older monk, the younger monk
says nothing, and the two of them continue on for the remainder of
their journey.

An hour passes… then a second… and then another.

And all during this time, there is tension building inside the
younger monk. He simply can NOT understand how the older monk
had the audacity to pick up that almost naked woman and carry her
across the river.

Finally, after hours and hours, the young monk can no longer
contain himself and he cries out, “How could you have picked
up that woman back there on the side of the river?”

The old monk smiles and replies, “Oh, are you still carrying her
around? I put her down four hours ago.”

We all carry around far too much stuff from our past,
for longer than we deserve to. Our backs are weighted down
with a sack FILLED with mistakes, guilty feelings, hurts,
failures, regrets over things you didn’t do or paths you didn’t
walk down, and fears about the future. And the sad thing is,
we carry these things around voluntarily.

My friend Wally told me the story that you just read, and he
asked me to share it with you, because in life it’s easy to get
caught up in the past…when you really should be moving
onto the future. When you’re focused on today your
energy is free to create your next move.

Wally used to be in a job that he hated, full of tension and
was just generally stressed out. He found a way to free his
energy and get beyond all the tension and has created a
really powerful video for you to see here:

regrets and start a new life, starting now:

Secret WORK school

Many years ago, I was
working with a group of
chiropractors in Durango, Colorado.
Durango is an old Western town in
the Soutwest part of Colorado.

It was an exciting place to live.
Cowboy bars, narrow gauge
railway train, hiking, camping,
horseback riding, and river rafting.

I worked at the Durango Chiropractic
healing center with two other doctors.
One day, my friend Steven told me
about a teacher who was called a
structural magician who was coming
to town to teach a seminar.
At that time, I was doing healing
work for quite a few years and
when I heard about the structural
magician, I signed up for the program.
To my amazement this guy came from
the same city that I was brought up in,
studied with the same teachers that I
knew and even told the same stories
that I heard years before.

Suprisingly enough,
his workshop and teachings were right on!
He covered things like communication skills, meditation,
applied kinesiology, deep tissue work and internal exercises
like Qi Gong, Shen Gong and Nei Gong. I was turned on and within
the next six months I moved to California to study.

What an incredible it was for me!
I totally changed my life around 180 degrees and this is what
I now teach to the members of the Qi Gong Inner Circle.

Every month, I produce a DVD with teachings, exercises,
mediations and ant aging techniques
to improve your health and well-being.
These teachings are only available in secret WORK schools.

They are not advertised, they are not announced and they are
only shared to chosen students and family.

I spent 35 years of my life studying these secret esoteric teachings.
For many years, I did these practices and kept them
to myself for the most part.

After years of contemplation, I have finally decided to share these
teachings with a select few in the Qi Gong Inner circle.

They say, when you are ready, the teacher will appear.
Are YOU ready?

You can join today!

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness

Why I Yelled at My Patient

Sunday, August 24th, 2008
Share

This morning I made a call to one of my patients in Tampa

Florida from my hotel room. My patient and Qi Gong student in

this case, got the shock of his life when I yelled at him.

Now if you know me or have had any treatments or classes with

me you may have a very difficult time imagining me even raising

my voice but in this case it had to be done.

Sometimes being a Qi Gong Master means being a Zen Master too.

Qi Gong in it’s essence is MOVING, BREATHING, and FOCUS.

Qi Gong in our daily lives is about bringing things into

alignment with our focus. This can effect us on the physical,

emotional, and energetic level.

Qi Gong at street level is just a practical way of bringing us

back to a state of inner and outer harmony in every aspect of

our lives.

That’s what it takes to really Master Qi Gong and live a long

healthy life.

It’s all Qi Gong from the top looking down.

Sometimes it takes a shot of bitter medicine to get the system

back on track.

This particular patient is a brilliant computer guy and a year

and a half ago he was on a roll. He had bought a new home and

was making more money than he ever had. With several new

ventures in his back pocket the future was brighter than it had

ever been and he was on his way to becoming a new millionaire.

Today… not so good, he seems to struggle at everything.

His marriage fell apart, his kids are in and out of the

hospital, and he can’t seem to stay up on paying his bills.

What changed?

He changed and if he is going to recover he needs to keep

changing.

Sometimes when we set out to become something more than we

currently are we have to go more changes than we originally

anticipated.

When we are at the top of a mountain we can see the tops of

other mountains clearly, what we don’t often see is that to get

from one mountain top to the other their might be huge valleys,

rivers, and swamps between here and there.

My patient in this case was stuck in just such a swamp.

By asking several questions I was able to discover what he was

doing wrong. Holding on to his own resentment about his

setbacks he was stopping himself from moving forward.

Just like a little kid learning a new sport, he started to make

all sorts of judgments about himself, worse yet he was starting

to believe it.

I confronted him sternly.

Sometimes when we want to step up to the next level we can’t

bring all are baggage from the past with us.

This is true on all sorts of levels.

In the end he thanked me for being straight with him. To keep

him going I prescribed 3 simple Qi Gong exercises form him to

do 3 times a day.

When you find yourself in life’s swamps the most important

thing is to keep moving. The way to keep moving is to create

the right sorts of habits.

In China and India there is a concept of “Sadhana”. Sadhana is

usually thought of as a daily practice or ritual but the

word “Sadhana” in Sanskrit actually means the path to

accomplishment.

Lasting Health and Longevity is a journey you take one step at

a time. It’s an Accomplishment not a Fix. That’s both the good

news and the bad news.

Those that do have any sort of Accomplishment whether

financial, physical, or other, did it with a Proven Method and

Daily Practice.

I CAN and DO provide the Proven Method but it takes two wings

to fly, you’ve got to show up too.

So far I’ve given everybody two easy ways to Show Up and take

these treasures from me.

1. The Recharging Qi Gong is still the greatest

collection of Qi Gong exercises I have seen compiled into a

single, easy to use program with DVDs, CDs, and Illustrated

Manuals and it’s only available

here -> http://rechargingqigong.com

If you don’t have this valuable resource yet now’s the time to

get it.

2. The Qi Gong Inner Circle http://qigonginnercircle.com I

started this group so that I could give even more material on a

monthly and weekly basis. In addition to the monthly DVDs I

hold a weekly meditation and Qi Gong class here in Miami. If

you want to take your Qi Gong to the next level and have access

to me you need to sign up today.

With two easy ways to get started there’s really no excuse to

stay in the swamps of life. Join me and a select group of

individuals that are on the path of accomplishment.

Start “Sadhana” today and go to http://Qigonginnercircle.com

and sign up.

Wishing you the best in Health, Wealth and Happiness,

Dr. Wu Dhi

PS: The secret to the Qi Gong Inner circle is that you can

still get in, you might not be able to get all the back issues

of the Qi Gong Inner Circle but I have been working personally

with new members to get them all the basic materials they need

to experience a rapid increase in the Qi flow. That’s all

available at http://Qigonginnercircle.com once you sign up.

Are you Breathe or Are you Breathed?

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Many years ago I was studying with a teacher of Zen meditation
and breathing in Marin County California and he told me this
great story one morning in the meditation hall.

My teacher started his Zen training as a teenager and as most
teenagers do, he acted as if he was both all knowing and
immortal.

Youthful arrogance and Zen are not the best combination
especially when the teacher carries a stick.

Regular beatings were required to speed up the process of
enlightenment but to his credit he stuck with it.

He was also fortunate enough to have a teacher that was trained
in several different schools of Zen and was well versed with
many different breathing techniques.

Zen is not commonly known to have a multitude of “yogic”
breathing exercises as do the Indian or Tibetan schools. In Zen
the philosophy is generally to simplify the method and focus on
the breathing itself.

Now imagine a hormonally hyperactive 16 year old boy fidgeting
on his meditation cushion, trying to focus on HIS breathing. To
make matters worse this same boy was plagued with sinus trouble
and rarely had more than one nostril that was clear.

The boy was not the only one focusing on HIS breathing. The
sounds of mucus and snot bubbles coming out of his nose were
often the loudest things during meditation practice.

The mere presence of the boy in the meditation hall was a
psychic disturbance that could not be ignored no matter what
your level of training.

So what to do?

The Zen Master called the boy aside.

“Do you Breathe or are you Breathed?” the Zen Master asked.

Naturally the arrogant youth replied “I Breathe.”

“If you Breathe then show me Breathing.” The Zen Master
instructed.

The boy sat down diligently and began to sniff and snort with
purpose and measure through his stuffy nose.

The Zen Master rolled his eyes and held up his hand “STOP! If
you Breath now show me not Breathing.”

The boy held his breath and the Zen Master watched diligently.

Several moments passed while the boy gradually started to turn
blue. Suddenly he exploded and gasped for air.

“What’sa matta?” the Zen Master asked.

“Even if you manage to pass out by holding your breath you will
start breathing again on your own. I think that you should
investigate this further.” With that the Zen Master sent the
boy away to meditate on whether or not he breathed or was
breathed.

The next day the Zen Master stepped into view in front of the
boy while he was in meditation. In his hand he held a rumpled
up paper lunch bag that he was breathing into. The bag expanded
and collapsed with every breath the Zen Master took. He looked
quizzically over the bag at the boy.

As many Zen Masters do, this particular teacher had a special
look that he would give a student that meant they should ask
what he was doing.

“What are you doing…” the boy reluctantly moaned, knowing full
well there was a potential stick whacking in it.

The Zen Master lowered the bag with a great big smile and
said “Me? Nothing. But this bag… this bag is Breathing!”

Not all whacks are delivered with a stick. The shock of
realization can be delivered even as a joke.

The boy did change his breathing and his focus. He was no
longer the distraction in the meditation hall. His breathing
became effortless and natural. He healed his sinus problems and
eventually he himself became the Master.

Changing the focus from breathing to Being Breathed is a big
step but one in the right direction if you want to really open
the flow of Qi in your body.

I rarely use a stick but I’m a big fan of the jokes as many of
you have seen in the Recharging Qi Gong.

It’s ok to laugh, it opens the lungs.

If you don’t have the Recharging Qi Gong there’s no excuse not
to get it today at http://rechargingqigong.com  and clear the
internal clutter and superficial tensions from your body.

You might even have a laugh or two.

Wishing you Health, Wealth and Happiness,

Dr. Wu Dhi

PS: I’m planning the first Recharging Qi Gong seminar to happen

Why the most important thing is the same thing

Why the most important thing is the same thing

%$firstname$%,

I got up this morning before the sun had come up. The birds
were signing outside like they always do and I was doing what I
always do.

Every morning when I awake I say the same thing.

And every morning when I awake I do the same thing.

The keeping of this secret builds the power of these words and
movements every day that they are done.

As a Master of Medical Qi Gong and a practitioner of the
healing arts for well over 30 years you may want to know the
secret practices that I do but I would tell you this…

What I do is not so much as important as the doing.

If you want to go even further beyond that it’s not even the
doing it’s the showing up as doing.

Or if you want to be Zen about it, Who’s showing up doing is
what is of paramount importance.

Building a daily ritual is the most powerful way to make the
ordinary extraordinary.

By taking something you know works and practicing it every day
you are immediately on the path to mastery.

Qi Gong is just such a thing.

It works because it can’t not work, the body, breath, and
attention are all brought together. This has a profound effect
on our entire being.

When you practice Qi Gong with any depth every cell in your
body and brain should light up and say “What’s he doing?”

It is as if you become truly present in your body.

And when you are present everything begins to come into
alignment.

The energy begins to flow, blockages and pain leave the body,
and you begin to radiate health and vitality. This is Qi Gong!

I want you to discover the Qi Gong that I know and put it to
use every day.

Every day is a day to build on the previous. The things you do
every day will be the ones that shape your life.

I say keep it simple and powerful, use something that works and
work it every day.
For me it’s the Recharging Qi Gong http://rechargingqigong.com
because when I do this 26 minute routine I open my lungs, warm
up the body, energize my organs, increase my blood flow, move
every joint in the body, build strength, and stretch the
tension loose. And best of all it doesn’t feel like I’m working
out hard and it doesn’t leave me tired, sore, or depleted.

The Recharging Qi Gong always leaves me more energized that
when I started and it’s easy to do every day.

I created my program the way I wish other programs were. You
throw in the practice DVD and we’re doing it, no waiting and no
intro just a “let’s go!”

You follow along with me and when you’re done, it’s done and
put away for tomorrow.

No fuss, no muss, no preparation, no workout equipment or
workout clothes needed.

It’s super simple, effective, and you can do it everyday with
little or no real effort.

Then when you want to get more details you refer back to the
Manual or the Instructional DVD.

Eventually you’ll have it down then you can practice anytime
anyplace. That’s how we started the Qi Gong on the Beach Club,
if you can do Qi Gong anywhere lets do it someplace fun and
beautiful.

Those of you who already have The Recharging Qi Gong and love
it will want to take the next step and join the Qi Gong Inner
Circle http://qigonginnercircle.com . This is the group that I
work with live and on the phone.

The first QGIC group call was such a hit I’m going to do it
again in February and you won’t want to miss this one even if
you join just for that month alone you’ll be walking away with
some killer secrets this month. So sign up now at
http://qigonginnercircle.com if you haven’t already.

Wishing you the best

Dr. Wu Dhi

PS: the link to the download of the January QGIC call will be
sent out individually to all members so don’t worry if you
haven’t received it yet.
