Creating Your Own Power Animals

The Chinese Taoist’s have
formulas for just about everything,
diet, exercise, meditations, and how
to live your life better.
One of the very special formulas
that are taught uses the power of
visualization and involves 4 animals used as protectors.

1. The dragon
2. The Phoenix sometimes called a Firebird
3. A white Tiger
4. Turtle

Each animal represents
a direction, a color, and the human
organ and does a special job that
carries out a special protective quality.

Although this may sound like a child’s
play, to the westerner these teachings go
back thousand of years and have significant value.
Mythology and creative visualization is
now being used in modern medicine and
psychiatric care. One of my friends is a psychiatrist
in Kentucky and is in his private life is a Mayan Shaman.
One may think that is unusual but another Medical
doctor that I know right here in Florida is a practicing
Shaman from another tradition.

When they aren’t practicing medicine they are
involved in high leave shaman practices and rituals.
A doctor is a teacher — or should be one, in order to
teach his patients ways to heal themselves on a physical,
mental and spiritual leave. We are all three bodies
operating as one and in order to be healthy all three
bodies must function in harmony.

This morning I was training with one of
my students and we saw someone walking their dog.
The dog was a bulldog and I pointed out that one
of my protectors was a bulldog.
The student said how could that be?
“I thought you said that there where only
four protectors and there wasn’t any mention of a dog.”

Our protectors can change and morph
into other beings and creatures.
My dragon protector who lives on my left
side represents a few things.
My liver for one, the emotions of anger
and kindness, the color green, getting things
started and completed quickly.

Over the years my dragon has changed shapes,
has a name and the relationship is stronger.
Why? Because I have placed more attention into
the visualization and have worked with the
protector in my meditations.
Remember, the more you work with
something the stronger it becomes.

Here’s how the morphing happened to my dragon.
One of my friends had a 150-pound dog that
was a great protector. But he was overprotective
and would go crazy if anyone came into the house
that he didn’t know and if you took him for a walk
and he saw another dog he would try to rip him apart.
His master had no idea how to train a dog or anything
else for that matter. His form of training was only to
control and try to dominate. Dogs are intuitive in nature
and they pick up on vibrations and intensions of other
animals and people as well. So the dog became just like
his master, overly aggressive and tried to control
everything and everyone.
Not a good way to live ones life,
if you want to stay around for a while.

I had a great relationship with the dog since it was a pup.
I played with it and the dog picked up on my vibes.
One day the master and the dog had it out — the
dog bit him and the dog was scheduled to be put down
the next day. When they told me what was going to happen,
I asked if I could take him for a walk.
The family agreed and I told the pooch that
he would always be with me as one of my
protectors and not to worry.

To this day the dog has been with me.
He morphed into a dragon dog.
This may sound a little strange to you but if you
have a favorite pet, or a creature that you have
infinity with, you can incorporate it into your
personal mythology as I did.

You may want to learn more about your
own mythology, how to use visualization and
learn to work with the protectors.

Setting A Positive tone for your life will make you Healthy

What you do the first thing
in the morning will set the
tone for the rest of the day.

This is why it’s important to begin
your day with thoughts
of perfect Health, Wealth and Happiness.
Even before your feet hit the floor, you want to start
programming yourself into the realm of success.

No more procrastinating- get things done now!

The key to putting you on success course is
your daily goal – and that goes for
your fitness, health and diet.
The best way to achieve your target is to hit it first
thing in the morning, the earlier the better, and
then the rest of the day will be tremendous.

Before I go to bed I decide
what I want to accomplish the
next day and when I wake up I
know what I am going to do and hop right on it.

I not only stretch my body –
but my mind and spirit as well.

It’s the same with your food, the first thing you
put in your mouth will set your mood for the day
as far as your nutrition goes.

Here is what I do:
I start by drinking a few glasses of pure room
temperature water.
Then I begin my workout before any solids and
as soon as I am done, guess what?
More water!
This way I re-hydrate my body and flush my system
before I start eating anything.
Breakfast is a really important meal so don’t mess
it up with sugar and coffee.
Start out with a protein power drink with some
greens in it or maybe a few eggs, meat, or vegetable juice.
When I was in China we would start out the day with a
bowl of soup, although it’s not the typical Westerner’s
diet- it’s a good one especially as the days get colder,
try it once in awhile and see how you feel.

I bet you’d like some of that good old fashioned ENERGY.
Well, get it the old fashioned way!
Move, hydrate and nourish your body first
thing in the morning.

I recommend the
Recharging Qigong program
http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html
to all my patients and students to get a full workout
every day physically, mentally and spiritually.

Get this program and you will also receive a hoist of
free gifts that comes with the book and DVD’s.

I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness
