Learn the trick to handling Holiday Stress

20131214_121047My brother was into boxing and although not a pro
he trained and loved to spar. He thought Mike
Tyson was great when he fought Evander Holyfield
for the World Boxing Association heavyweight
championship and knocking Holyfiend out with an
uppercut. I am not a boxer and to tell you the
truth I never liked it. My passion has been more
into the martial arts like Judo, aikido and wing
chun and when Tyson bit that guy’s ear in a
professional fight he lost face with me and
thousands around the world. I was in China at that
time and at least 20 people came up to me and
apologized to me for Tysons behavior.

As you know
by now I am into anti-aging and have been
practicing longevity formulas for decades. I met
an actor and a martial artist at the longevity
seminar last week. Michael Jai White who played
Tyson in the 1995 HBO movie does. Michael White is
a martial artist who has been in more than 50
movies best known for his role in the Batman film
The Dark Knight. Whit’s triple kick is infamous —
he’s the real deal! Michael Jai White is a
legitimate holder of eight black belts of varying
degrees in eight different Martial Arts forms.

I had the opportunity to talk to him at the
Anti-Aging conference and He told me that he is
first a marital artist and a fighter and then an
actor. He puts a lot of his attention on health
and said, “If you don’t have your health you don’t
have anything.” He is 100% correct! If you’re
sick, tired, you can’t remember what you’re doing
or what’s next on your program most likely you are
stressed and not handling it. This happens more
and more around the holidays when there is a lot
more to do than usual and you’re over stretched.
This is the time of the year to get a hold on
things and turn your stress into power. Let’s

‘Oh there’s no place like home for the holidays,
‘Cause no matter how far away you roam –
If you want to be happy in a million ways,
For the holidays – you can’t beat home, sweet
home.’

This is an old song that they play around this
time of the year that I have heard as long as I
can remember.
The holidays are about friends and family and my
trip to Michigan was all about that. I spent time
with my mother, my oldest son my grand children,
my aunt and a few cousins and even saw a few
friends. In 4 short days I drove more than 600
miles and that was after I flew home. That’s the
nature of the holidays.

. You want to get more
sleep even if it’s just a few catnaps here and
there. Stay hydrated. Those holiday sprits could
dry you up if you aren’t drinking a lot of water
and sugar can tip your balance.

Although we all love to kick back and party for a
few days, the holiday season will go on for around
40 days. Yea you can do it! But you want to do it
and stay balanced and centered with a day here and
there for some full out party time.

Before you get caught up in the festivities order
the Turn Stress into Power program and party on
with your own secret formula to stay healthy
through the entire season.

It’s the day after Christmas, the entire house is a mess rapping
paper balled up, presents still in boxes, your
in- laws are still in your spare bedroom
and the kids are out of school for more days then wish to count.

STRESS seems to be around every intersection you turn.

Everything may seem to be a little overwhelming and you are
stressed to the max.

I bet you didn’t know that December 26 is historically one of
the most dangerous days of the year.

This time of year is infamous for heart attacks, heart failures,
and strokes.
Don’t let holiday stress kick your butt.
We all want to keep our ticker ticking as long as possible
without any glitches and although the holidays are a time to
kick back, over eat and knock back several glasses of holiday cheer
that excessive drinking can cause irregular heartbeat
and it can up your odds for a stroke.

On Christmas Day, many people confuse shortness of breath or
chest pains with indigestion from drinking and overeating.
On most days you would play it safe and go to the hospital.
But it’s just a annoyance around the holidays so we wait
and that can be a your last mistake.

In Chinese Medicine there are some Symptoms of Heart Disease
to give you a heads up before anything ever happens-
things like vertical or tangential crease on earlobes,
Horizontal crease across the bridge of the nose,

and strong for years and years.
