How much would you pay to stay Healthy?

Share

Have you ever asked yourself how much you would pay
to stay healthy?
On average, people pay between $1,200 a year and
$12,000 for insurance and that doesn’t include any
alternative care, like massages, vitamins or nutritional
counseling. That doesn’t include your membership
to the gym, health club or one glass of juice at the
juice bar, or that shopping trip to the health food store.

The price that you could be paying to keep yourself
healthy is easily in the thousands and most likely in the
tens of thousands,
it could go even higher if you are sick.

When you’re sick you’ll pay anything just to regain
your health.
I have patients that pay me a good penny to stay healthy
and they have paid medical doctors hundreds of
thousands hoping to regain their health.

“If you don’t have your health you don’t have anything,”-

 My Dad always said that.

I know that I spend a lot of time and money keeping
myself healthy.
Just last summer I was at a health clinic in Switzerland
and dropped a bundle to keep myself in the pink.

Lets say your doctor has you on ½ dozen different meds
for your high blood pressure, cholesterol, sugar, glaucoma,
acid indigestion and all of that is just to keep all those
symptoms abbey, you need to make serious changes in your
life style.
Now by no means am I telling you to through away your
medicine or even stop it.

What I am suggesting is you pay close attention to your
body is telling you.

Make a chart that shows the time and day that you take
your meds and how you feel when you take it.
Also, look at all the possible side effects, your pharmacist will
give you the list, formulate a plan to slowly
(with your doctor’s help)
reduce it and if possible get ride of it completely.

If you are anything like me and want to stay young and
healthy there are certain health keys to follow

1.Make sure you are well hydrated –Drink pure clean water.
Soda is a no no, coffee doesn’t work and sugar drinks don’t
either.

2.Your mind set. If you think your young and act young-
you are young!

“Life becomes exciting with the passing days.
you have a head start,
If you are amongst the ones who are young at heart.”

That’s from an old song that I remember hearing when
I was a kid by Jimmy Durante.

There are scientific studies that show if you think
you’re young you are young- I have people coming into
my office daily
who are half my age dragging their bodies around and
telling me that they are old, feel old and they act old.
So guess what? – They are old.

3. Diet- Eat organic whenever possible, the organic food
has more vitamins, minerals and it isn’t poisoned by
bug sprays.

Remember when you go to the super market or health
food store and the signs says conventional-
that means its poisoned, grown in heavily chemical
fertilizers and the soil is most likely void
of nutrients.
Eat local as much as possible and if you have even a
small piece of land grow your own organic garden.
My mother lives in an apartment and on her balcony
she grows delicious organic tomatoes all summer.

If you find it to be out of your price range to buy
organic, make sure your washing your food
properly- read the article from my July 2010 blog
“What is Conventional Food doing to your Health?”

4. Your Sexual appetites, is what keeps you young.
If you are experiencing a Low sexual function or
desire, the diagnosed in Chinese medicine is Kidney
Yin or Yang deficiency.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman,
if there is sexual problems it’s most likely coming
from the Kidneys, they are at the root of sexual
energy.
You can look at your kidneys as a storehouse of Qi;
your acupuncture doctor may use terms like kidney
yin or yang deficiency.

That doesn’t mean kidney disease in the Western sense.
Overworking, over indulging, physical trauma, excessive
sexual activity, and emotional problems, causes kidney
deficiencies or having too many babies, even insufficient
sleep can affect the kidneys.
Basically you’re burning the candle at both ends
and the body

“taps-out and depletes the reserves”,

over time, you will have symptoms like low back pain,
knee pain, hair loss, and your sexual desire and
function is out the window.
This can result in low sex drive, impotence, erectile
dysfunction, low sperm count, poor sperm motility,
or premature ejaculation and no desire for sex.

That’s why I practice the “Yin Set” every morning
and do the Taoist exercised regionally,

if you know em do em, if you don’t order the
Recharging Qi Gong course today.
http://rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html
and learn them and practice.
The root cause of old age is a deficient kidney.

5. Doing the Right Exercise- Many of us exercise daily,
we’re at the gym as if it were the newest church
on the block and we were going to get absolved of all
past sins, with out a dough or the best club and your
guaranteed that you’ll score every time you show up.

Many of us are in to sports and are on the field or court
at least a few days a week and if that’s not your boogie
you’re on the golf course or on the mat doing your
martial arts practice.
Yes you exercise, but you could be burning your kidneys
out, loosing sexual energy and unknowingly be speed up
your ageing process.

The reason I took over 2 decades to perfect the
Recharging Qi Gong Program is I wanted to make
sure that I was on the right track for my own longevity
and anti-aging program.
I can tell you with out a dough that if you practice these
carefully planed, tried, practiced and tested exercises
you will slow down the ageing of
your body and mind, increase your flexibility, power
and strength.

There are many other exercises, herbs and vitamins that
can help keep you healthy read all you can, study and
practice daily and stay young at heart.

What Kind of Fuel are You Using?

Thursday, August 26th, 2010
Share

I just returning from Mo-Town, if I didn’t know better I
would have thought I was back in the Sixties, or the
Seventies.

I couldn’t have been in Detroit at a better time; the city
was filled with energy more than I’ve seen in years.
People were everywhere! The restaurants were full and
getting parking was nearly impossible.

The annual “Dream Cruise” was going on, there were
millions of people on the streets. You are probably
wondering what kind of cruise could possibly be
happening in Detroit?
A boat ride up and down the Detroit River, or maybe
something to do with the Great Lakes?

No, none of those.

It was the 15th annual Woodward Dream Cruise.
The “Dream Cruise” is an annual event where 40,000 classic
cars from around the globe converge on the “Motor City”
and cruise up and down the main thoroughfare
“Woodward Avenue, America’s first highway.

Although the event is officially only one day, the entire
weekend was filled with cool muscle cars and hotrods
on all the main streets.

It was really the “Motor City.”

I got right into it the festivities; the slick super cars
were really spectacular.
Hot rods with flames shooting out of the rear ends,
muscle cars, custom Corvettes,Lamborghinis,
old motel-Ts,over sized trucks that you needed a
ladder to get into the cab, and even the Bat Mobile was
cursing the streets.
This was the crème de la crème of cool cars.

You could imagine the amount of work that people
put into their rides. Thousands of dollars, maybe
hundreds of thousands are pored into thosecars, and
hundreds of hours of work.

Do you think that if you owned a car worth a few
hundred grand that you would put the cheapest gas
and oil in it?

I don’t think you would, I wouldn’t.

I’d look for the best fuel I could get my hands on and
the best motor oil I could find.
I want my ride to last
as long as it could and run smooooth.

When I lived in Detroit, I would hear expressions like

“That’s a clear ride.”

Meaning your car is in the best shape, it looks really
good and it’s top of the line. It didn’t make a difference
if it was a 59 Chevy, a Porch or a custom hot rod.
As long as it was taken care to the optimum it was
considered

“A Clean Ride.”

People put more time, energy and money into their cars
and trucks than they do to their own bodies.

While I was cruising around in my automobile, I couldn’t
help but notice how much extra weight people were
carrying around on their front and back ends.

The junk food stand had long lines that didn’t seem to end.
People were chowing down on the worst fuel they could
possibly run their systems on.
 Sugar and Grease.

I am a physician who spends a great deal of time studying
holistic healing as well as western medicine and let me tell
you, if you are eating a bad diet you will have health
problems sooner or later.

I was wondering what people were thinking.
I asked my friend who is also a holistic doctor and
healer and he said,

“The’re not.”

Most people don’t have a clue that food can be their
medicine or their poison.
They don’t exercise and if they do, they are doing the
wrong kind of exercise and are suffering with health
problems.

If you’re sick of being normal, and want to be out of
the norm, avoid what normal people get.

Older, Weaker and Sick

You can take control and change that, step out of
the norm and start making the changes now.

No matter what your age

No matter what your lifestyle

No matter what kind of shape you are currently in

No matter how you’ve been injured or what ailments
you have

And no matter what you’ve been told in the past

You can always increase the flow of Qi and become healthy,
stronger and younger.

I can show you how to increase the flow of Qi until it courses
through you like a mighty river.

The best treatment of all is the Prescriptive Qi Gong Exercises
I teach called,
“The Recharging Qi Gong”.

These exercises literally heal and strengthen you from the
inside out.

Check it out to day. You will be glad you did.

As a student of various traditions he as received various names and titles over the years as is appropriate in those schools. Among these names was Wu Di, very similar to the pronunciation of Woody, in China the name means ‘has no enemies’. Wu Di was later renamed by a Tibetan Lama to Wu Dhi with an ‘h’. Although this may not seem like that much of a change from Wu Di or even Woody for that matter, it is in fact a high honor to receive such a name directly from a Lama. Dhi in this case is the Sanskrit seed syllable ‘Dhi’ and associated with the great wisdom holder Manjurshri.

Dr. Wu Dhi has been a pioneer in alternative health care for over 30 years and a master of Medical Qi Gong. Dr. Wu Dhi completed his advance studies in neurology under the direction of Professor Sun at the prestigious Heilongjiang, University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin P.R.China.

Will Brain Qi gong training increase your longevity

Monday, August 16th, 2010
Share

All day Friday, Saturday and Sunday I threw myself into a Brain Qi Gong training. I stretched, pushed, pulled, squeezed and twisted every part of my brain. It wasn’t comfortable and it wasn’t that easy, but it was necessary to my training. I have been serious about anti-aging practices for more than ½ of my life. Anti-aging Brain Qi Gong is a BIG part of longevity.

When you truly practice longevity exercises, it takes more than working your body. Both diet and nutrition are important, you have to work all the systems all the time, if you want the results of a long healthy life, and the Brain is the master of them all.

The knowledge I acquired in the three day seminar will surely help my patients and although the subject matter was challenging, that’s exactly what I was looking for, a brain challenge.

“Mastering the Thyroid” a subject that I knew very little about, but I know the importance of the thyroid. In Chinese medicine we think of it as being associated with the triple heater meridian, I’ll go into that at another time.

We have an epidemic of thyroid disease and it’s hardly understood by traditional doctors or the alternative ones, thyroid disease can have an autoimmune component to it and that’s barely addressed in thyroid disorders- usually you’re just put on meds for the rest of your life. But wait! There is still hope. There were over a hundred doctors in the workshop learning these advanced methods of diagnostic and treatment, but there were very few that took the workshop for the reasons I did.

If you want to stay young, there are multi tasks that one has to do. Yes, physical exercise both external and internal is a big part of anti-aging, so is diet and our social activities are all part of it. To stay young you have to work all systems- “Use it or Lose it.” The brain has to be stretched, feed and worked to keep it functioning at peak performance. That’s the big reason why I take seminars and workshops on un-familiar subject, to give myself a brain workout.

The doctor who taught us is a master in Endocrinology, Blood Chemistry, Immunology and Neurology. We studied Hashimotos disease, Graves disease, thyroid replacement, hormones, hypothyroidism and hyperactive, the cells and all the chemistry. Hour after hour with no breaks, no stories and no jokes it was all science and chemistry.

If you could have been watched me in the workshop you would have said that I was sitting and taking notes. That was true from the outside. My internal practice was quite different. I was observing both the teacher and myself keeping a second attention, that’s part of the Tibetan Buddhist meditation practices that allows your entire being to gather information and make it part of you in the least amount of time. You actually embody the information. Being able to hold a second attention allows you to be the observer of the class, the teacher, and the teachings and to monitor yourself all at the same time. That is a special teaching that is only taught one-on-one in the coaching program http://energymedicineflorida.com/private-coaching.html
and by DVD to the Qi Gong Inner Circle members. www.Qigonginnercircle.com

Steven Stater’s Energy Transformation?

Saturday, August 14th, 2010
Share

This week it was all over the news when Steven Slater
told Jet Blue to “Take their job and shove it”.
That’s a country song from back in eighties
by Johnny Paycheck

“Take this job and shove it
I ain’t workin’ here no more?
My woman done left?
And took all the reason?I was working for
Y’ better not try to stand in my way?
Cause I’m a walkin’ out the door” ?

Steve Slater who was a flight attendant walks
out the door.
actually he slid out the door.

He lost his cool but before he left he told off a
passenger, grabbed a few beers,
then cussed out the other passengers
over the loud speaker, and dramatically escapes
down a emergency slide from the plane.

Unfortunately for him in the “Good Ol’ USA” the
authorities send out theTroops, Helicopters and
Police and picked up his rebellious butt and he
landed in the slammer.

When we get so stressed out and so fed up with
what’s going on in our lives, we sometimes explode
and lose our energy.
I guess you would call it somewhat of a premature
ejaculation of energy.

We work and work to gather energy, build Qi, train,
practice and then without warning something or someone
comes along and you lose it Big time and all your training,
Qi cultivation, and energy building is gone in a second.

When Steve lost it he blows his cool and was haled
off to jail, he lost his job and for what a few moments
of glory.

Some see him as a psychopath, who lost control in
a job where losing control can be Hazardous to others.
People depend on flight attendants for their lives in an
emergency situation.

Maybe he’s just being a funny, crazy guy on the
ground but at 35,000 feet things are much
different.
You want some one who doesn’t lose it in any
situation.

In todays world, people are hanging on to their
jobs for dear life
They have to put up with situations that are less
than pleasant. Some of us would like to do what
Steve did, but we don’t.
We’ve all had jobs that have pushed us to the
brink, or beyond it. I am speaking to you from
first hand experience, but I learned
How to Turn my Stress
Into Power.

It was many years ago I was teaching a class on
Personal Power and we were exploring ways to cultivate
and store energy.
I was with a group of 50 people in Caracas, Venezuela.
The morning session was going great and the students
were really getting it. The room was alive with energy
you could see a special glow in the room.
Around One O’clock and we took a lunch break.
I suggested that people stay put and have lunch
together.
I said.” Don’t leave this protect space”. Most took my
advice and stayed, but one of the students said she had
to go.
She got in her car backed out of the drive way and then
it happened.Someone was speeding down the street
and
just missed her.
The student lost it- she screamed, got out of her car and
had a hissy fit right in front of all of us.

She blow all the Qi, energy and what ever else there
was. A total blowout for her. She lost everything
she built.
We had spending the entire morning in meditation
building up energy and it was all gone.

Don’t let this happen to you.

There are energy vampires just waiting for you to lose it.
It’s important to build energy and store it for your internal
growth.

Over the last 35 years I have worked, studied and practiced
methods of exercise, meditations and internal work to cultivate,
build energy/Qi and internal power.

My master said that at the time of our death we only
have two things.
The amount of love we have given,
and the amount of energy we have store.

Most of us know how to give love , but do you know
how to store energy?

In a two part book and DVD “Turn Stress into Power”
I show you how to turn stress into power
and teach you how to store energy. Order a copy today

It’s amazing how much strength one can muster –up

I pulled up to the office Saturday morning to pick up
some acupuncture needles and the parking lot was
roped-off.
They were painting the building, trucks and workers
were everywhere. I had to park in the lot on the other
sideof the bushes and the last time I parked there I had
the car towed away.
I took the chance- pulled into the lot and sprinted up to
my office; got the acupuncture supplies and when I got
back to my car,
I saw one of the worker pulling a large metal box out of
the bushes.
He tried to move it, but it wasn’t moving easy. I bet that
thing weighed a few hundred pounds.
I didn’t say anything, I just watched and he was so busy
he never noticed me. It looked like he found some kind
of great Treasure.

It was “A SAFE”

He picked that baby up and put it in his truck and off
he went.
It’s amazing how much strength one can muster –
up when they want too.

I drove away and I started to wonder what was in that safe.
I was sure it was some kind of treasure. Maybe it’s filled
with gold or silver it looked really heavy.
He could be rich; my mind was going wild wondering what
could be in the safe.
What does one keep in a safe anyway? Treasures like: money,
jewelry, stock bonds, maybe there is a priceless antique or a
treasure map in this box.
Just then my son called and I told him the story. He said,
“Dad, you should have reported him to the police.
It could be from a bank robbery that they ditched in
the bushes.”
I called my other son and he said,” Why didn’t you see
if you could have helped!- it could be filled with diamonds,
cash or gold.”Maybe he would have shared it with you.

As I crossed over to the west side of Florida on
“Alligator Ally,” my mind was running wild just thinking
about it.
I called my friend Jerry, told him the story and he named
off all the things he thought there could be in this wonderful
magical box.

Whenever one finds a treasure, buy a lotto ticket, or go to
a casino, one’s mind can run wild on what we will do with
all the riches we may get.
When you buy a lottery ticket, for a few hours or days you
fanaticize on all the things you’ll do with the money, who
you’ll share it with, what you’ll buy, who would you help out,
where you’ll travel to and how you will spend the rest
of your life.

Well what are you waiting for you can do everything now i
if you put your mind to it.
Everything starts in our imagination anyway.
The best way to get started is put what you want in writing
and look at it every day.
Keep a copy in your pocket and every time
you have a few moments look at your list. I find that if I
look at my list before I workout, that’s what is on my mind as
I train and when I am finished I look at the list again.
By doing this you put what you want into your body and mind.
You “Embody” what you want to have in your life.
I going to explain the entire process and take you through
a workout in the up coming Qi Gong Inner Circle DVD’s.

If you aren’t a member yet I’ll tell you how to get on board,

Aging.

Blocked Energy =Disease

A blockage is a blockage no matter if it’s mental,
physical, emotional or spiritual.
If you see a traditional western doctor he may
suggest an operation or medicine to open it up,
that could be good in some cases- it depends
how far the disease or blockage has progressed.

I prefer the natural route.
“It’s always better to prevent a problem than it
is to fix one.” There are many alternative ways
to open up the blocked energy, naturally.
I have spent a life time studying natural healing,
acupuncture, holistic healing and Qi gong healing;
it all comes under the umbrella of holistic healing.
Nine out of ten times I’ll teach a patient a Qi gong
exercise routine so they can speed up their healing
process. You will not get that from your regular
doctor. Most don’t have a clue about how important
exercise is in the healing process.
They’ll pawn you off to a physical therapist in a
New-York second, just to get you out of their office.

I have patients and students who contact me and say
that they feel Blocked- and it’s usually steaming
from their gut. They have stomach cramps, period cramps
and some report bloating after every meal.
You know that’s not natural and if the problem goes on
for more than a few months, they will end up with some
dis-ease.
It’s not all about pain relief, it’s about getting rid
of the blocked energy, so their system runs smooth and
naturally.

(The Stomach and Spleen are usually at the center of
our Health problems, believe it or not.)

In acupuncture as well as medical Qi gong, once you
get The Channels open the energy will flow as smooth
as silk,

“That’s real pain relief.”

The channels or meridians are like rivers of energy
traveling all over the body.
If you have a trauma, physical or mental it will
impede the flow of energy / Qi and the next thing you
know you have some kind of blockage.
A holistic healing approach will give you an
understanding of what you can do to open blocked
energy..

When I see a new patient, a complete medical history
is taken. I always ask about the patient’s digestion
first.

* Are things moving regularly?

* Do you have any digestive problems?

* What’s a typical day of eating for you?

More than 50 % report some form of constipation,
gasses, and a bloated feeling. It’s amazing to me
that some people only have a BM three or four
times a week and that’s with laxatives and they think
that’s normal.
I’m not a big fan of laxatives just to take a poop;
they are usually just mild poisons anyway.

I prefer getting more oxygen, minerals
and moisture into the intestines.
That works for my patients 80% of the time.
I prescribe a natural healing formula,
” Oxy- Hydrate” to get more oxygen and blood
flow into the gut.
I’ll use acupuncture if it’s more physical and
medical Qi gong if the problem is more mental
or emotional.
Patients are given a prescriptive Qi Gong exercise
and most likely a detox program to bring them
back to perfect health ASAP.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness

emotionally or Spiritually write to me
