The Flu Shot is just a Scam!

I never thought it would work for one second and
sure enough it didn’t.

The flu vaccine this year is nearly useless so
they are going to add another strain for next year
but they already admit that it will not fix the
growing problem. I have personally never taken a
flu shot and encourage my patients, student’s
family and friends to avoid them like the plague.

FDA Panel Expands Flu Vaccine

A federal advisory panel on Wednesday signed off
on adding an additional strain of influenza
protection to some of next year’s vaccines.

The change, which has been in the works for years,
could better prepare the health system after this
year’s nasty flu season. For decades, influenza
vaccines have been comprised of three different
strains to protect people against the flu. Those
vaccines won’t immediately go away, but over time
will be replaced by new four-strain, or
quadrivalent, vaccines.

At least two companies, GlaxoSmithKline PLC and
MedImmune, a unit of AstraZeneca PLC, plan to
offer quadrivalent vaccines for the 2013-14 flu
season.

“While the four-strain vaccines should offer
better protection against the flu, they won’t be a
complete fix for the larger problem seen this year
of limited vaccine effectiveness in older people.

A CDC report released last week showed the
influenza vaccine offered seniors little
protection against the dominant H3N2, “A” virus
causing the most illnesses in that age group.
Health officials aren’t yet sure why the vaccine
was less effective this year than prior years.

“The numbers we’ve seen are disappointing,” said
Robert Daum, chairman of FDA’s vaccine panel. “But
[vaccines] remains the best tool we have in terms
of controlling influenza.””

You would think that’s just a bad joke. Maybe you
thought the government was going to keep you
healthy and protect you. If you noticed, you could
get a flu shot at every drug store, Wal-Mart, and
grocery store.

It keeps all the meridians in the body flowing.
If there is no stagnation of Qi or blood, your
chances of getting sick are highly reduced, but
that’s not the only thing I do. Diet is important.
Stay away from processed foods, high fructose
sugars and fried foods. It’s just a good rule to
keep your system flowing. Drink 4 to 6 glasses of
clean water daily.

I give all my patients homeopathic immune builders
all fall and winter to avoid the flu and cold
season. If you want to stay healthy you have to
work at it. Health takes work and pays for itself
over and over. Sickness costs you time, money and
pain.

Who is Watching your Back?

Friday, February 10th, 2012

I was at a party the other
night and struck up a conversation
with a group of people about health
and who is watching your back.

We were discussing the article written
in the Health & Wellness section of the
Wall Street Journal:

“What if the doctor is wrong?”

Basically, it was about how many times
patients are misdiagnosed and treated
for the wrong disease.
The article went on to say that as many as
25% of patients who arrive at the major
medical centers with diagnoses for
certain cancers such as lymphoma
may receive a different diagnosis.

Primary-care doctors can misdiagnose common symptoms.
In a study, 202 patients most commonly complained
about abdominal pain, fever, fatigue, shortness of
breath and rash. Incorrect diagnoses included:

•Benign viral infection 17%
•Musculoskeletal pain 10%
•Asthma/Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 6%
•Benign skin lesion 4%
•Pneumonia 4%

Final correct diagnoses for patients
misdiagnosed initially included:
•Cancer 16%
•Pulmonary embolism 6%
•Coronary artery disease 5%
•Aneurysm 8%
•Appendicitis 6%

The National Jewish Health, a
Denver Medical Center, found in a
study that more than half of patients
who were diagnosed with chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease had
previously been misdiagnosed with asthma,
leading to inappropriate treatments.
Misdiagnoses can come about for various
reasons. Pathologists and radiologists may
misread slides and scans or fail to use the
latest tests or technology.

What to Ask When Seeking
a Second Opinion:

1.Have you reviewed all the materials related to my case?

2.Was the lab test/image/biopsy specimen
adequate to make a firm diagnosis?
Would a repeat test give me more information?

3.Are you certain that this is the disease that I have?
Could there be another explanation for these
symptoms or results?

4.If you agree with the initial diagnosis, can
you confirm or suggest modifications to the first
doctor’s proposed treatment plan?

5.Can you reassure me that we have
explored all the options?

The truth about health is; the more responsibility
you take for your own health the better your chances
are of you living to be 100 in
PERFECT HEALTH!

Every day I see people with a host of
dis-eases, some of it is from mental
imbalances, others suffer from toxic
overload and a bunch of them come into
the office for physical injuries.

There is always more to dis-ease than it
first appears. All Dis-ease has mutable
components to it and most doctors are only
addressing the physical.

I believe that all dis-ease stems from an
imbalance in one of the three bodies.
The ancient Taoist masters recognized
the importance of working on all three
levels of our being, the physical body,
the energy body, and the spiritual body.

The three bodies correspond with the three forces:

1. The Physical body with the Earth
2. The Energy body with the force of Man and Nature.
3. The Spiritual body with the Heaven
(primordial) Yang force

In the human body, we call these
forces the “Three Treasures”

A. Life -Essence/Sexual energy
B. Qi- Life-force
C. Shen -Spirit or consciousness.

All three are important in forming a
vehicle with which we may climb
consciously into the spiritual worlds and,
back into the physical world to be
creatively active here. This vehicle
enables us to learn about the inner worlds
and to return with knowledge and
increased energy. An Immortal Body,
which is developed in the practice of
Internal Alchemy, enables you to establish
a constant link between life and the
after-death state.

To truly heal from any dis-ease all three
bodies must be addressed.
I know patients who have been in
remission from cancer and other diseases
for a few years and then it comes back
like a monster in the night to haunt them.
Why? I believe that the healing of the
dis-ease was only addressed in the physical
body and the other two bodies were never
attended to so the blue print of the disease
was still in tact and sooner or later the
disease showed its ugly head again.

In the Qi Gong Inner Circle I teach
“The Members” the healing techniques
and longevity practices drawn from Taoism,
Tibetan Buddhism, and Alchemy to
transform their lives, how to heal your body,
mind and spirit, the keys to anti aging
medicine and meditations to open up your
third eye, heart and base chakras.

Do you really want to be like so many
elderly men and women who are getting
their hips and knees replaced? Do you
really want to follow the pill-popping trend
that goes along with high-blood pressure,
diabetes, high-cholesterol and the glut of
other problems currently plaguing those
men and women who’ve passed away at
the age of 40?

I definitely hope not.

I think it’s a damn good idea to live 100
years or more in excellent health.

Going the Extra Mile

I came across this story that Petey Parker wrote.
I don’t know who Petey is, he could secretly be
“Spider Man” as far as I know or just a dam good writer.
Petey, thanks for sharing this.

“A cab driver taught me a million
dollar lesson in customer satisfaction and
expectation. Motivational speakers charge
thousands of dollars to instruct his kind of
training to corporate executives and staff.

It cost me a $12 taxi ride.

I had flown into Dallas for the sole purpose of calling
a client. Time was the essence and my plan included a
quick turnaround trip from and back to the airport.
A spotless cab pulled up.
The driver rushed to open the passenger door for
me and made sure I was comfortably seated
before he closed the door.
As he got in the driver’s seat, he mentioned that
there was a folded Wall Street Journal
next to me for my use.

He then showed me several tapes and
asked me what type of music I would enjoy.
Well! I looked around for a “Candid Camera!”
Wouldn’t you? I could not believe the service
I was receiving!

I took the opportunity to say,
“Obviously you take great pride in your work.
You must have a story to tell.”

“You bet,” he replied,
“I used to be in Corporate America.
But I got tired of thinking my best would
never be good enough. I decided to find my
niche in life where I could feel proud of being
the best I could be.
I knew I would never be a rocket scientist,
but I love driving cars, being of service and
feeling like I have done a full day’s work and
done it well. I evaluated my personal assets
and… Wham! I became a cab driver.
One thing I know for sure, to be good in my
business I could simply just meet the expectations
of my passengers. But, to be GREAT in my
business, I have to EXCEED the customer’s
expectations! I like both the sound and the return
of being ‘great’ better than just getting by on ‘average’

Did I tip him big time?
You bet! Corporate America’s loss is
the traveling folk’s friend!”

Lessons to be learned here:
-Go an Extra Mile when providing any Service to others.
-There is no good or bad job –You can make any job good.
-Good service always brings good return.

“Imagine what a harmonious world it could be
if every single person, both young and old,
shared a little of what he is good at doing.”
~ Quincy Jones

We all strive to achieve personal success in our lives.
At times we forget how important service is to others —
Things like unselfishness, kindness and generosity;
deeds that give meaning to your lives and above all,
that sustain and honor the lives of others.
I have been teaching and working for my entire life to
help others achieve their goals no matter if it’s health,
or being all they can be.

I have worked with Master’s, Guru’s, Lamas,
Doctors and Coaches that have
devoted their lives to the service of others.
They all helped others to move beyond their own
self-imposed limitations to success.

The members of the Qi gong Inner Circle receive teachings every
