Opening up to Spirit

This week the meditation class was filled. We
couldn’t get one more person in the room. It seems
like there was a shift and now more and more
spiritual beings are showing up.

images-2I met an artist at the organic market over the
weekend. I was just strolling around looking at
the different venders, the lady who makes fruit
jelly, the tattooed guy who sells gems and the
Rasta man who has some hot Jamaican music and then
it happened.

I was magnetically pulled to a woman who was
sitting on the ground painting. She had a special
glow and before I knew it I was totally mesmerized
by her energy. I had no intension of buying a
painting as my walls are filled. My purpose of
going to the market was to stock up on food for
the week and nothing more and the next thing I
knew, I bought a new painting. It’s 3 ft. x 3 of a
series of Sanskrit symbols “Om Shanti” in
different colors. Om is believed to be a sound of
the whole cosmic manifestation. Shanti is “Peace”
‘Om Shanti’ means peace for the all human kind,
peace for all living and non living beings, peace
for the universe, and peace for each and every
thing in the cosmic manifestation. I had to have
it. When you come into my office it’s now on the
wall and the vibration has lighted up the room.

I have been investing in art and sculptures for
years for a few good reasons. One, it brings me
happiness, joy and tranquility in my home and
office. The vibrations you have in your living
space is the key to longevity. If it’s stressful,
unwelcoming or depressing, guess what? Your life
will be in danger of physic attack. Some years ago
an old friend sent me a picture that was dark. It
had a creepy vibration and although it was well
executed with skill and creativity I never even
put it in a frame. It just has a bad vibe when I
look at it. Who knows where the artists headspace
was when she drew it, I don’t think she was in a
good one. It’s important to bring objects into
your surroundings that will not only enhance the
ambiances but also keep the vibrations high. If
the space where you live or work is cluttered,
unorganized or of a low vibration, change it or
move and you will see your external and internal
life change for the better.

It’s the same with practice. Find a quite,
peaceful place and go there often and you will
build an energetic force there that will change
your internal and external life. I practice the
Recharging Qi Gong exercises on a regular basic
and over the years I managed to stay more
flexible, younger, happier and pain free. The
program consists of 36 powerful exercises that
work on all three bodies at the same time.

How to Clean your Spiritual Objects

Whenever I bring something new into
my home or office, if it is going to be
used for healing or spiritual purposes,
I make sure that I take the time to clean
it energetically.

The other day I was at the organic market in
Coconut Grove and there is a guy there that sells crystals,
Shiva lignums, gems and a host of unusual things.
I was eyeing a little Buddha for some time that seemed to
have some extraordinary Qi. Its cast of combination of
different metals seemed to resonate with interesting energy.
So, we cut a deal with the merchant and it’s
now part of my collection.
Before I brought it into my home I made sure it
was cleansed of any negative energy.

Here’s what I did:
Once you have cleaned an object physically, the next step is
to cleanse it of unwanted vibrations and energies that come from
other people handling it in packing, transportation, unpacking and
display before it has actually reached to you. With all the people
at the market touching, holding and looking at this Buddha, it needs
to be cleaned. Objects tend to take on energy indiscriminately and
like wearing someone else’s shoes, you can feel what’s not
the right energy for you.

I like to use a salt-water bath to purify these types of objects.
I live a few short blocks from the Ocean so going down to the
beach and cleaning my spiritual and healing objects is quite
easy for me. Salt is really good for removing negative
energy from most things.

You don’t need to soak the objects very long in salt water.
If it has a good vibe in the first place I’ll hold it in the
Ocean water for just a few minutes or sometimes I’ll bring home
a bucket of water and soak the object for a day or so.
When I do some really, really heavy clearing, I will soak the
objects in salt water for 3-4 days. Usually, an 8-hour bath every
now and then is just fine. If you don’t have access to seawater get
a bowl large enough to hold what you want to purify and fill the bowl
with water to cover it by about 1 inch. Add 1 tablespoon of sea salt.
But if you have genuine seawater, that’s the best!

When you pour off the salt water, do not touch the water or you can
transfer the negative energy back on yourself. Remember to thoroughly
rinse off any salt residue.

I’ve also smudged different objects with sage, sweet grass or
incense to cleanse them. This is especially good for things
that cannot be soaked in salt water.

After it’s clean I’ll put the object in the Sunlight.
It re-charges the ultraviolet light from the sun and
restores the depleted energy.
There are many other methods of cleansing spiritual
and healing objects. Some with water, sounds, light,
earth, color and fire. I share these spiritual teachings
with the members of the Qi Gong Inner circle as well as how
to use the tools methods and internal practices.

I was Shanghaied and held as a Prisoner

This morning after my workout
and a little breakfast,
I planned to go to the Glazer Farms organic market
in Coconut Grove.

It’s about 30 to 45 minutes away from my house.
What I like about the organic market is that
they have countless unusual prepared salads,
soups, fresh juices, mouth-watering coconut
water and the best darn raw fruit pies that you
have ever tasted. Not only are all of these treats
delicious, they are extremely healthy filled with
minerals and vitamins.
My plan was to stock up and have a weeks worth
of ready to eat healthy foods and treats.

My friend Bob said he was going to the market as
well, so we planned to go together and meet up at
around 10 O’ clock. The market trip usually takes
around 2 or 3 hours from port to port- if you stop
for lunch, and it’s a relaxing way to enjoy the morning.
He picked me up with Shaina, his wife, and we
were off to the market.
We were driving for about 20 minutes and that’s
when I heard the news.

Shaina said, “We were going to The Red Lands
to “Country Robert’s.” Not only is it about an hour
and a half away, nothing is organic!
Too late for me to get off this trip!
I was now a prisoner on Shaina’s trip.

“Cest La Vie.”

This kind of thing happens to all of us now and then.
We are forced to do something or go somewhere
that we really don’t want to do and this was one of them.

It turned out to be a lot of fun, although it wasn’t
what I had in mind. I finally got home around
6 O’ clock in the evening and just had to laugh at
how the day went. Let me give you some good advice
when you are “Shanghaied.”

You need to roll with the punches.
You can go kicking and screaming or curl up in your
emotional shell or love what you’re doing when
you are doing it.

Do you remember the song by Crosby Stills & Nash,
‘You gotta love the one you’re with?’
“Don’t be angry, don’t be sad don’t sit crying talking
good times you’ve had Love the one you’re with.”

In every situation we always have a choice.
How we will handle our own emotional state
is 100% up to you.
One can change it at will or be pulled around by our
negative emotional being.

As you go through the exercises in the book and DVD
in the Turn stress Into Power program, you will learn
powerful and yet simple exercises, meditations and
secret hand positions called Mudras; A gesture or position,
usually of the hands, that locks and guides energy flow.
