Setting your Goals and Accomplish them in 6 weeks

he 4th of July is here and gone again.
Half of 2012 is finished and it’s time to take an inventory of what you have accomplished over the
last 6 months. Let’s take a look at the 8 major aspects that can affect us and make sure you are
going in the direction you want to be going. First ask yourself a few questions:

• Do I have a solid plan in place?
• Does that plan have checks and balances that will keep me on target?
• Do I know what I want?
• Do I know why I want it?
• What action do I need to accomplish this?

According to ancient Chinese, Feng shui the Bagua is used to determine the balance in all of the
characteristics of life. It’s one of the main tools used to analyze the energy of any given space,
as well as all aspects of your life. Bagua literally means “8 areas.” The 9th area is the spiritual
aspect. Take a look at your carrier, relationships, family, your finances, spirit, travel, projects,
self cultivation and your success patterns. Are they in balance?
When you are balanced every aspect of your life will be working in harmony.

Many years ago my Master spoke to me about moderation. At that time I didn’t have a clue of what he
was talking about. I was more of the excessive compulsive type. If one was good 2, 3 or 4 seemed
better to me.

Luckily I had some good habits established. As a young man my father enrolled me in marshal arts
classes before I was even a teenager. My excessiveness was exercise, healthy diets, and study. I
thought I was just doing great but years later I see what my master was talking about.

My excessive diets, over training and studying for hours were burning me out. I was using up
valuable energy and burning Qi quicker than I could produce it. Eventually I woke up from these
excessive patterns and my life started to balance. My business got better, I received the
acknowledgements, degrees and rewards I was looking for.
My career took off, my relationships opened up and my health internally and externally came into
balance. Balance doesn’t happen on its own. It takes some work and some guidance. It was back in
1984 when the “Lama on the mountain” first taught me this Bagua formulas and things started to come
together. I learned how to look at every aspect of my life and have all bases covered. I have been
using the formula ever since to balance my life and have shared the formulas with thousands of
patients, students and friends.

Here is what we have found- when there is a system in place:
-You become more accountable to yourself
-You get more of what you want
-Your health mentally, physically and spiritually gets better
-You accomplish more with grace and ease
-You invoke growth and establish patterns of success

I taught a 2-day workshop in Miami Beach on how to use the formulas and apply them into your life.
The two days were video recorded and professionally edited and I have put these DVDs into a learning
package which includes all of the notes that shows you the how’s and the why’s.

relationships?

Tea for Two

Harvey called me this morning
and was really excited about what
his wife found on weight loss just
by drinking tea! She heard it on the
Dr. Oz show and it was an interesting one!
Here is the link so that you can
take a look yourself.

http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/best-teas-weight-loss-pt-1

Dr. Oz always brings in some
interesting information and I have
been a tea drinker for some 30 years
and I will share with you some of my secrets.
Although Pu –ehr tea isn’t one of my
favorites it’s really popular in China.

Pu-ehr is a good wake up tea and that’s
why they suggest drinking it in the morning.
What I do is I buy the best I can find usually
at a good tea shop. It is compressed and looks
like a small cake. Not expensive at all!
This tea helps shrink fat cells and is great
for maintaining a healthy weight loss.

I take a small piece, about the size of a
quarter and steep for 2-3 minutes.
Then I pour out the water. This opens up
the leaves and brings out the flavor and
then I add more hot water,
steep for another 2-3 minutes and drink!

As the day moves on I switch to a white tea.
As a matter a fact this time of the year,
summer when it’s hot and sticky, white tea is
one of my favorites.

I do the same process as the pu-ehr tea to
open the leaves but on the second pouring I
put it in a glass bottle with cold water and
close the lid and put it in the sun for the day.
That evening I strain the sun tea and let it
cool over night in the fridge.
It makes a delicious cooling drink!

White tea prevents fat storage, helps to
reduce stress, burns fat and is delicious.

Now, let’s get to my favorite tea!
Premium Green tea, not the tea bags you get
at the health foods store but the loose tea
that you can get at fine tea shops like
oolong tea is my favorite!!

“Ever since tea was first discovered,
its cultivation and consumption have been
encouraged because of its apparent ability
to ward off disease, strengthen powers of
concentration, cleanse the body, and aid digestion.
Legends of its medicinal properties reached Europe
and the New World from China, intriguing the
Western consumer, and now, centuries later,
modern research has begun to confirm many
of those early beliefs.”

-JANE PETTIGREW

I have a few cups late afternoon it’s a
picker upper. Although tea drinking has
been associated with health benefits for
centuries, only in recent years it has its
medicinal properties investigated scientifically.
The October issue of Harvard Women’s Health
Watch recognizes the healthy power of tea
while helping readers get the most out of their cups.

Tea’s health benefits are largely due to its
high content of flavonoids — plant-derived
compounds that are antioxidants. Green tea is
the best food source of a group called catechins.

In test tubes, catechins are more powerful than
vitamins C and E in halting oxidative damage to
cells and appear to have other disease-fighting properties.
Studies have found an association between consuming
green tea and a reduced risk for several cancers,
including, skin, breast, lung, colon, esophageal,
and bladder.

Additional benefits for regular
consumers of green and black teas
include a reduced risk for heart disease.
The antioxidants in green, black, and oolong
teas can help block the oxidation of LDL (bad)
cholesterol, increase HDL (good) cholesterol
and improve artery function. A Chinese study
published recently in the Archives of Internal
Medicine showed a 46%-65% reduction in
hypertension risk in regular consumers of oolong
or green tea, compared to non-consumers of tea.

If you want something to cut down those food
cravings at night a cup of mint tea is great
after dinner! It helps with the digestion
and settles the stomach.

I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness

There is Always More than You Can See

Thursday, July 5th, 2012

Last week when I was talking
to a group of young students
about healing they all had their
opinion on what healing was
and how to do it.

One claimed it wasn’t to be done
by men and should be left up to the
creator and the second student
disagreed and said only doctors
should do healing, the third said
healing should be done by Spirit alone,
and the fourth said there was really no
healing at all, you either get better on
your own or you die, the fifth student
had no opinion at all.

I stopped the discussion and told
them a story that I heard from
(the Lama on the mountain) years ago.

It was six men who went to see an
Elephant
 for the first time.
All of them were blind.

The First blind man happened to
fall
against the broad and muscular
side of the elephant, at once he
began to shout:

”the Elephant
Is very like a wall!”

The Second blind man, feeling the tusk,
cried out “no you are wrong, the
Elephant
Is very like a spear,
sharp and pointed at one end!”

The Third blind man approached
the animal; felt the trunk
and said,
“I don’t agree, the elephant
Is
like a huge snake!”

The Fourth blind man reached out and
felt the leg and claimed

”the Elephant Is very like a tree!”

The Fifth blind man touched the ear
of the elephant and said,
“you are all wrong the Elephant

Is very like a huge leaf!”

The Sixth blind man grabbed the
tail and said,
“the Elephant
Is very like a rope!”

These 6 blind men argued
and
disputed loud and long, each
having their own opinion
and claiming that
they were right, although each of them were
somewhat right, all of them were wrong!

The moral of the story:
There is always more to the
Elephant
then you can see!

When it comes to your health
you can’t isolate just one thing.

It takes everything to stay healthy!
Diet, exercise, internal peace,
right thinking,your moral code,
proper nutrition, love and
respect of self and others.

When we only focus on one or
two aspects of your health, like
the blind men you are not getting
the full picture.
You may be treating the
symptom but not the cause.
“There is always more to the
elephant than you can see.”

That’s why we all need a coach
to show us the big picture!

what you have been waiting for.
