Restore Virility with He Shou Wu

The Chinese legend of Mr. He tells the story of Mr. He, a habitual drunkard. As much as he wanted a family life, he never married or had kids. As you can imagine, he was not looking very good and his qi was comparable to a man in his eighties.

One evening, he wandered off into the woods in another drunken stupor in search of a place to lie down. Once he stumbled upon a comfortable spot, he drifted off into sleep and dreamt about the family and life he always wanted.

In his dream, he saw himself with a beautiful wife and children. His wife loved and respected him. They were very passionate and looked forward to their alone time after the kids went to sleep. In the dream, he had many children and they were proud to call him daddy. His hair was dark and long, showing that he was healthy, strong, and potent in his manhood.

As he woke up from his dream, his eyes caught something on the ground. It was a root that looked like two lovers intertwined. No one knew what this plant was, not even the village shaman. This wise man told Mr. He that this plant found him, and it was his destiny to consume it.

He prepared the plant in the traditional way and created a tonic. As he drank the tonic, he began to feel strength he hadn’t felt in decades. He continued consuming the tonic and eventually, the health and strength he dreamt of was a reality.

His body regained the youth and vitality it had lost so long ago. Eventually, his hair turned black again and his virility was stronger than ever. As the story goes, he then married and fathered 20 children, and lived another 100 years.

The herb was named after the man who discovered it and is now known as He Shou Wu. Here are some of its amazing benefits:

  • Supports liver and kidney detoxification
  • Promotes hair growth and color
  • Helps to enhance fertility (high in zinc)
  • Supports blood building and blood cell health with iron
  • Helps modulate estrogen
  • Strengthens the kidneys and adrenals
  • Aids in mental clarity, learning and memory
  • Can help with low back or knee pain (as these are associated with kidney deficiency
  • Immune system support
  • Helps strengthen the muscles and tendons
  • Anti-mutagenic effects and improves DNA repair
  • Protects Skin from Photoaging
  • Improves Mitochondrial Function

It’s shocking see people who look years older than they really are. Their hair is gray, they have no luster to their skin and even their eyes are dull. I find that they are usually kidney qi deficient and they have no libido.

He shou wu has long been known as a way to get color back in gray hair and even regrow hair! This is because he shou wu helps support kidney and liver function.
