This weekend I was at the Seed Festival Day Tasting Village, one of the annual Seed Food and Wine festival events in Miami which is a vegan affair promoting health, sustainability, animal liberation and vegan businesses.
I imagined this would be a small fair with few people. Much to my delight, it was packed. There were restaurants, food vendors, organic wines, organic farms and animal rights activists. I had some of the most delicious treats that were also non-GMO, organic and healthy. The market in the Unites States is slowly changing. More people are interested in their health, well-being and protecting the environment.
I noticed that everything was served on paper dishes with wooden spoons. There were recycling bins everywhere, and the music was enjoyable also. As more people start caring about their impact on the world, they lean toward yoga, meditation, qigong and tai chi. We are in the process of a paradigm shift.
When I became interested in health and working as a healer, they called me a health nut. It turns out that the nut has grown into a great tree. Every day, I have people coming into my office who are dissatisfied with conventional medicine. They don’t want to be operated on.
