How to Up Your Game

Working with energy is like working in a lightning storm. If the energy is directed, it can light up cities. If not, it can fry you up.

Every morning, I’m up and out of bed an hour before the sunrise. It’s the quietest time of the day and the Parana is the strongest. It’s almost like being in a force field of energy. It can charge you up once you know how to use it.

I usually start the day with a warn cup of tea and then begin my morning practices. Meditation is the first thing I do. As you’ve most likely heard at your yoga class or read about, meditation has a list of benefits.

  1. Calms the mind
  2. Reduces tress
  3. Keeps you healthy
  4. Helps with weight loss
  5. Makes you more loving

Meditation is beneficial in many different ways. But, the above listed reasons are not why I meditate.

Most of the yogi students in the US don’t meditate or seldom practice. And very few of the modern-day yoga studios and their teachers know how to meditate or teach it. The so-called meditation is more of a guided fantasy or a way to relax. They have no idea how to plug it into the real energy that’s available. The five or 10 minutes of meditation at the end of your yoga class  is  more stress reduction and relaxing. That’s all good, but if you want to build your spiritual digestive system and tune in to the real power, you have to up your game.

Over the last three decades, I’ve been a serious student of both Taoist and Tibetan Buddhist meditation practices. These practices will up your game and tune you into the real energy that’s yours for the taking. All you need is the education and the practice. You’ll be amazed how your life will change.

At my office, we offer regular classes and workshops to assist you in your health and spiritual growth. I also do private training and coaching. Contact me at 305-407-0120 for details.
