Yesterday was a lucky day. I was at lunch with a friend, and the place we went to is a little soup and sandwich shop not too far from my office. While we were sitting waiting on our food, a very small woman with white hair and a smile from ear to ear came up to me and whispered into my ear, “I have something that I think you will be really interested in.”
I was about to eat and go over some business stuff that really needed to be taken care of. I would have usually just told her that I was busy, but she insisted that I listen to her. She was so sweet, I asked her to sit down to hear what was so very urgent.
She opened a small pouch that she had in her purse and asked me to hold this pouch of small black stones. As I did, I felt a warm energy travel from my core up to my head and then down to my toes. The energy was familiar. I felt that kind of heat rush in my meditations.
She offered to sell me the stones if I was interested, and I immediately took all she had. I recognized the stone as I received one from a friend when I moved into my house. He said it would protect me and my home from any evil intent. The Stone is shungite.
Shungite is the Healing stone and also a great protector. It is composed mostly of pure carbon: the only known natural mineral to contain fullerenes, which are specific molecular formations of carbon that act as powerful, long-lasting antioxidants. Shungite has the ability to reduce the concentration of free radicals as no other antioxidant can, the action is stronger and lasts longer.
What I’ve found is that Shungite has metaphysical properties that make it useful for both healing and protection. Black is almost always the color of protection in western magic, as it is said to cloak the subject of the spell in darkness so that bad luck cannot affect you.
I put one in my water bottle and drink it all day. Shungite is widely applied as a natural filtering instrument to clean and mineralize water.
