Unwinding……

I started a project on my house last April. I went ahead with the decision, after speaking to a friend who has been in the building business for years.

He suggested that if I made a few changes in my kitchen; it would really give me a lot more usable space.

Cooking is my passion so I was sold on the idea quickly! Also my Meditation Group would come over weekly, and we would share a meal together and it was cramped! This was before covid came and disrupted our world.

I still teach my Meditation Class on Zoom every Full and New Moon, for now. To join me send a text to my Assistant and she will send you a link. We are hoping to resume again in person as soon as August! (305)-407-0120.

So Back to the kitchen….

Thinking that this project would only take a few weeks, I jumped right in and got the right guys for the job. To my chagrin things did not go as planned! Here we are in July, just over the four month mark and we are no where near done! Now we are looking at a Fall completion date.

A friend warned me that it would take twice as long as I expected and that it would be twice the price; but I didn’t believe it. She was right!

Here’s what happened along the way. The contractor, “As long as you are going to do this, you may as well do that.” Interjecting suggestions and the money just kept racking up.

Along with an injury of one worker and a passing of another. Add the Mercury Retrograde in the middle of all of that.

It’s been a very stressful few months for me, even with my Qi Gong and Meditation Practices; it’s been very challenging!

Well the finish line is slowly approaching and I am still running strong! Now it’s time to unwind, relax and rest.

When you run a marathon or train hard it is just as important to recover our Energy; Mentally and Physically. So many of us just keep going and then you may have a breakdown sooner than later.

To recover your internal Qi/Energy, one must walk away from the task or project and reward oneself for completing.

A celebration is in order, and then some deep relaxation! (8) hours of sleep every night, some nourishing meals with protein, a gentle Yoga and Meditation Class and I will go much deeper into my Qi Gong Meditation. For you may I suggest the Flying Crane Qi Gong as it will restore your Qi and Vitality in just a few short days!

I wish you the Best in your Health, Wealth & Happiness!
