Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is one of the holidays that we all over-indulge in rich and delicious unhealthy foods!Turkey, Stuffing, Sweet Potato Pie, Ice Cream, Greens, Beans, Yams, Hams; you name it; “We Eatin it!”

Dessert is a must, plus a bit of Spirits! Not the Holy Spirit though; I am talking Booze. Wine, Whisky and Rum. After eating that heavy meal, out come warm Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Pie from the oven, then topped with Ice Cream! Yum! Who can resist?

This is a very special holiday and shouldn’t only be about stuffing our faces. It’s about gratitude for family and friends. Spending quality time with your loved one’s, and creating wonderful memories.

People usually start stuffing themselves at Thanksgiving, then into Christmas for ham and fruit cake. Come New Year’s Day, you are filled with Bubbly and a lot of excess fat and filth.

Your immune system will take a hit. Temperatures have dipped and it’s darker outside now. Who wants to stay on a regimen of health, wellness and exercise, when your body just wants to hibernate?

Now here comes the Flu, because the body has overloaded with junk. Sickness will come on because the body is in distress and will start a healthy purge. Pie, Whisky and Egg Nog ‘done caught up’ with us! It’s not just the winter flu, the body is unraveling the damage that has been done. It’s nature way of protecting your internal organs and your Temple! Don’t sweat it. It will pass.

If you want to stay healthy through the Winter Season, Exercise daily to burn off those excess calories, and to sweat out all the toxins and preservatives that they snuck into your food!

Get into a Sauna and sweat some more! It’s great for your health, and will open the pores so the junk can seep out.

Try Dry Brushing daily, to sloth off dead skin and get your circulation moving. Drink at least a half a gallon of water per day. Take Epsom Salt baths at least once per week.

Shockingly, some of my patients mention that they only excrete waste once or twice a week!

You should be expelling daily, or several times a day.

We all want to sit back; eat, drink and be merry around the holidays, but if you want to keep your immune system strong; everything in moderation please. Keep up with your daily exercises and come and see me for a Treatment, geared to have your Immune System revved up full throttle!

I Wish You a Wonderful and Joyful Thanksgiving, filled with Love and Peace!

Be Blessed!
