ANCIENT MERIDIAN HEALING

Meridians are the pathways of Qi (chi) that flow through the body like rivers of energy. Qi flows continuously from one meridian to another bringing more oxygen and more energy.  Any break in the flow and we have some kind of a blockage an indication of imbalance and disease.  If a person’s vitality or energy is diminished it’s an indication that the body’s organs or tissues are functioning poorly, therefore the Qi flow is inadequate.

ANCIENT MERIDIAN HEALING originated in Chinese and is based on the concept that an insufficient supply of Qi makes a person susceptible to disease. Restoring the Qi flow is the ultimate goal in restoring overall health and well being to the individual.

The Fourteen major meridians correspond to specific human organs: kidneys, liver, spleen, hearth, lungs, pericardium, bladder, gall bladder, stomach, small and large intestines, and the triple burner Yin meridians flow upwards. Yang meridians flow downwards.
