Dragons in many cultures represent Power and Strength. In Chinese culture they symbolize Great Power, Good Luck and Robustness!
Representing Power and Authority, particularly controlling Hurricanes, Water, Rainfall and floods.
It is believed that all Emperors were assumed to have descended from the Great Dragons!
I have many carvings of Chinese Dragons ~ Jade ones, some carved in wood, bronze dragons, and a few porcelain ones in the backyard. I also have a visiting bright green Jade Iguana; that frequents my yard and she looks like a dragon to me. She is beautiful!
A few years ago, I was watching her hang out in one of my papaya trees and thought of how Lucky I was, to have my own Dragon Creature.
I welcomed her happily; thinking that she would eat up all the pesky bugs who were invading my garden. To my dismay she gobbled down my entire garden in just one night! So these Iguanas are Vegan I guess! LOL!
The next day I was so annoyed that I got to thinking about Bar-B-Q Iguana, but that’s not on my palate!
The Big Green Dragon is still roaming around my garden, munching on flowers and although I wish she would find another garden to dine in; but for now she likes what’s on the Menu! Nothing like a good Raw Organic Dish!
My neighbor offered to “Usher Her Out’ with his high-powered air gun, but I wasn’t about to kill a Peaceful Dragon who just wants Organic Salads for lunch.
Placing sharp sticks around the plants work quite well for now, and although I see her now and then; my plants are thriving!
In life we all have Problems, Pain and Suffering. The solution is finding a way to solve them. I believe we are here to grow and learn!
If one has a problem, there is usually a solution.
