George came in for his second treatment today. He contracted Covid nine months ago, and was hospitalized for over a month.
Patient reported that he was ‘sick as hell’ with massive joint pain, unable to eat, shortness of breath and lost of smell and taste. He is on the mend now, tested Negative; but there was some collateral damage!
His left arm is now frozen and painful to any movement.
Doctors didn’t know what to do with him, so they sent him to a physical therapist, but after six weeks; there was no improvement.
Today before we got started with treatment, he mentioned that his friend also contracted Covid; and now after recovery, he isn’t able to lift either of his arms!
There are some lingering residues from the Virus, as I am seeing with the patients that are coming in for treatment.
