As many of you know, I have been practicing Holistic Medicine for years.
I am a licensed Acupuncturist in Florida; A Master In Medical Qi Gong, and I have a strong Practice helping people with health issues. Natural Medicine will always be my first choice, long before I turn to Allopathic Medicine.
If you aren’t familiar with the term Allopathic Medicine, it is what’s practiced by Medical doctors.
Homeopathic Medicine; the older form; is considered the best of the two, when it comes to safe and sound treatments; because it is devoid of any kind of side effects. Of course they both have their place, and if I were sick, I’d want the doctors to use everything from all systems; to help me recover.
I very seldom use any conventional drugs. Plant Medicine like Herbs, Teas and Homeopathic are my go to, for maintaining my health and wellness.
A few weeks ago, I developed a rash on my chest, and decided to see a Dermatologist. He prescribed a topical cream, so I stopped at Walgreens to get it. There were about 30 people in line, and I didn’t have the time to wait.
I asked the Pharmacist for the price. It was a whopping $95! It seemed reasonable, so my plan was to come back later, to pick it up.
Later that day I went to Winn-Dixie to buy some groceries and decided to price check the Topical Cream there; at the Pharmacy. Well it was only $13.50 so I got it filled there, instead! Unreal! Shocking to say the least!
You would think that drugs prices were the same everywhere! What a conundrum!
Most of the Homeopathic Meds range from $10 to $50, at most.
We’ve allowed Big Pharma to bribe their way into the Government, so we are being ripped off, left and right!
What can we do about it? Start by taking responsibility for your own health. Stop eating junk food, quit soda and sugar. If you aren’t willing to take responsibility for your health, you will fall prey to big Pharma!
