The Wolf inside of You

Often the elders of the American Indian tribes
would use stories involving animals to teach this
story that involves two Wolves.

One evening an old told his grandson
about a battle that goes on inside people. He
said, “My son, the battle is between two “wolves”
inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow,
regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence,
empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and
then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you
feed.”

When we take the time and energy to feed the right
emotion we can create a life that we want to have.
Feeling productive, happy and having the things we
want come to us effortlessly.

I have shared similar stories with my students and
patients. Some are feeding the good and others the
bad. What ever you put your attention into will
grow and give you the rewards.
For years I have put my attention into positive
growth, ways to keep my body and mind strong and
my spirit alive.

These practices take time and energy but so do the
negative ones. Choose to be the best at what you
do and practice daily.

Every month I create a DVD for the members of the
Qi Gong Inner Circle to keep us on tract, build in
positive energy and keep us healthy.

The key is keeping the internal organs healthy-
the brain, the sexual organs and the 5 Yin organs.
Old age happens when you stop practicing. Join us

Witches, Shamans and Shape Shifters

I took the train from Boston about 30
minutes north to check out Salem, Massachusetts.
That’s where they had the witch trials back in 1692.
Today, Salem is known for witch museums, a huge
Halloween party, witchcraft stores, tarot card readers
and some real national history like
The Salem Maritime site and the Peabody Essex museum.

I checked out the Witch History Museum — it was an
interesting part of America’s dark side. Then I was off to the
exhibit at the Essex museum of American Indian art
called “The Shape Shifter.”

The tribes always had medicine men also known as Shamans.
They were said to shape shifters by wearing feathers, or the hide of his
guardian spirit, the Shaman would perform the animal’s actions to infuse its
healing powers in both himself and the patient.
Shape shifting, is a change in the form or shape of a person, a change from human
form to animal form and vice versa and although Shape shifting is not believed to be
scientifically or medically possible, it is a common theme in myths of the American Indian tribes.

I believe that a Shaman can actually project his consciousness into an animal and gain
knowledge and insight from working with the spirits of animals then “seen” through a
new set of eyes, they will see what is going on with you on a spiritual level.
It was a really thought-provoking show.

When I left I was walking over to the train station to return to Boston and I got a call from James.
I guess I was a little surprised when he called, as I haven’t heard from him in years.
He is of all things; an alligator wrestler and the owner of a The Indian Village Alligator farm.

Yep!- he is a full-blooded American Indian and has been wrestling man-eating gators for years.
He’s got hundreds of gators, from babies to some real gigantic monsters over a thousand pounds.

No he didn’t lose a wrestling match to a big alligator. He called to invite me to a big
Powwow, the Florida state alligator wrestling championship.

The reason I though his call was so amazing is because I spent the better part of the
day looking at the Indian art. As I walked thought the different exhibits, I spent
time opening to the art feeling what the artist felt when they created it and as best as I could,
I became one with the art and the Artist. I made the day my meditation.

Whenever one puts their attention into something no matter positive or negative
it is drawn to you. In fact if you spend time worrying about what might happen to you,
you will attract it to you. Whatever we put our attention into, is what will show up in our
life.

It’s called the law of attraction. What ever you focus on the most is exactly what you will get.
No matter if it is on a conscious level or subconscious level.

Focus on miraculous things happening in your life and they will happen,
focus on not having enough and sure enough that will happen too.

It always works this way! In fact, there is a special formula that will bring you whatever you want.
You just need to ask in a special way.
I share these special formulas with all of the members of the Qi Gong Inner Circle.
