Don’t Blow Your Qi

Don’t Blow Your Qi

I received a letter this morning from a very
enthusiastic Qi Gong practitioner. He has been
practicing for a couple of years, and here is what
he said, “I read from the internet that it is not
advisable to take a shower immediately after Qi
Gong practice. Is this true? Is it okay if I take
a cold shower immediately after the Qi Gong
session? Because normally, I do the Qi Gong after
my workout session.”

The order of your training is fine, but what you
read was absolutely right. One of the goals of
practicing Qi Gong is to be able to store and
cultivate Qi.woody1

Don't -blow -it

Qi Gong

One thing we don’t want is to blow the Qi that you
work so hard to cultivate. I was in South America
teaching a group of students how to store and
cultivate Qi. We worked all morning for 4 hours,
doing some really intense practices, and the Qi in
the room was awesome. Around noon, we decided to
take a lunch break. I suggested that people stay
in the room, or just walk around the property and
bask in the energy we created. One of the students
insisted that she needed to go home. So, she got
in her car and backed down the driveway, and just
missed getting hit by another driver. She blew her
horn and screamed at the other driver. That was it
for her 4 hours of Qi building. She blew more than
just her horn.

There are many ways to lose your Qi. Here is a
list of things to avoid:
• Having sex after your practice.
• Urinating right after practice. Hold it for at
least ½ hour.
• Jumping in the shower too soon. If you know it
or not, you can actually flush the Qi down the
drain. But, if you steep in the Qi that you
cultivated for ½ hour to 45 minutes, you’ll be
fine.
• Eating a big meal right after practice.

Want to know one of the fastest ways to cultivate
and store Qi?

There are two increasable practices that will do
work like a magic charm. Start practicing the

Building A Body Of Energy

When one does healing work, it involves much more than just giving someone an herbal formula, or putting in a few acupuncture needles in them, or manipulating the spine. Healing has a spirit to it all of its own.

Years ago, I thought that healing was all in the techniques that one learns at school, but soon I discovered that you need much more than being book smart to be able to open up and become a true healer. Remember that special energy is cultivated by practicing Qi Gong, Tai Qi, yoga, and building an internal force or Qi. To really make a difference in one’s health and to keep yourself from burnout, you need to cultivate Qi, hence, my many hours of practicing Qi Gong and meditations.

Back in the early seventies, I was at a health conference in Durango, Colorado. It was my first introduction into Tibetan Buddhism. The teacher was born in the Midwest of the USA, and definitely an American. He was a man of little stature who seemed to think very highly of himself. He somewhat reminded me of Taz, the Tasmanian Devil of Looney Tunes, or maybe, a combination of Taz and Yosemite Sam. This teacher had such a big ego you could cut it with a knife. I was sure he was a fake trying to hustle us for money, or suck away our energy. But, after spending some time with him, I realized I was the one with the big ego, and he was there to just point it out to me, and lead me on a path of self-discovery that took more than 35 years. Of course, this all began out west in the Rocky Mountains, and brought me to California, Venezuela, China, New York, Minnesota, Boston, Toronto, Washington, New Mexico, my hometown, Detroit, Michigan, and where I live now in Miami Beach.

When you decide to do spiritual work and really work at it, you become worked up spiritually. You get every one of your buttons pushed. Your ego goes through the ringer over and over again until it is just a remembrance of who you thought you were. You get to change your name, beliefs, and values, and learn what the code is and how to keep the code. You start to live a life that’s all about aim, contribution, and participation.
Bushido or the “way of the warrior” gets ingrained in every fiber of your life, and you are no longer the person you thought you were.

So, now is the time to get off of your duff and start practicing. Get the Recharging Qi Gong http://www.on2url.com/lnk?MTQzNzQ2NnwxMTc3NDI4ODIzfHM9MQ%3D%3D
program today and start building and cultivating your Qi today.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth, and Happiness!

Avoid Getting Sick

Avoid Getting Sick…

I decided it was time for a medical checkup, you
know, the traditional kind, blood, stool, and
urine analyses, and echocardiogram. I had the
doctor take a look at everything. I like to do
this once a year to see what’s going on, but if
there is any kind of a problem, I choose to treat
it holistically. Sometimes, its a change in my
diet, or a different exercise. My blood pressure
was a little high this time. So, I took coffee out
of my diet as well as chocolates and all other
caffeine products, and started doing an IV of 50
grams of vitamin C twice a week, and will build it
up to 100 grams over the next few months. I also
doubled my intake of CoQ10 and lowered my intake
of salt. One of the main things I did was to
increase my internal exercises to both morning and
evening. This may sound like a radical approach
when I could just take a pill and be done with it,
just like most people would opt for. That’s
exactly what your doctor would tell you to do.

Although Western medicine has made a big
difference in people’s lives over the years and
increased the life expectancy, there are many
drugs that cause more harm than good. If you watch
TV, you know that every other commercial is some
drug company tooting their horn on what drug you
may need. Then, the warning comes in a low
monotone voice; You may experience some of these
symptoms: headache, stomach upset, back pain,
muscle pain, stuffy nose, flushing, or
dizziness;or decreased sexual desire or ability,
failure to discharge semen (in men), aggressive
reaction, breast tenderness or enlargement,
confusion, convulsions, diarrhea, drowsiness,
dryness of the mouth, fast talking, and excited
feelings or actions that are out of control,
fever, inability to sit still, increase in body
movements, increased sweating, increased thirst,
lack of energy, loss of bladder control, mood or
behavior changes, muscle spasm or jerking of all
extremities, nosebleeds, overactive reflexes,
racing heartbeat, red or purple spots on the
skin OMG! There are even more side effects and,
thats why, I choose to do it the hard way. IMG_0779

The drug companies are in business to make money,
and you are the customer. It takes work to keep
your health in order, but if you do, you can avoid
being caught up in the system. Here’s how to keep
you healthy: start doing the Recharging Qi Gong
exercises daily
http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html.
Pay close attention to the way you do the
exercises. The breathing is very important. And
I’ll give you a bonus. I’ll send you one of my
meditation CDs that will help you keep it
together. Do not delay, order today!

This is the time to work it while you’re healthy,
strong and vibrant.

This Is The Time For Maximum Growth!

This is a letter from Sara….
Hi Doc
“I have been practicing both of your programs the
Recharging Qi Gong and flying crane QiGong for a few
years and they are great.
I want to report that I have turned my life
around 200%. I no longer have stomach pain, I went
back to school and I am in the top 10% of the
class and my head is clearer than ever. When I
first thought about getting involved in Qi Gong
and your work I had a lot of fears, doubts and was
not willing to spend the money or make the time
commitment. But I knew I needed to do something.
So I took a chance and of course bought the
cheaper of the two programs to test it out. I
really didn’t have the money, the time or the
energy to do any of this stuff, but I threw the
dice and I am glad I did. After practicing for
around 3 months I noticed some big changes in my
life: I no longer had cramps every time I had a
meal and the only thing I changed was to practice
Qi gong every morning. Hello! What’s that about? I
have seen doctors, taken tests after tests,
swallowed handfuls of pills and no one has come up
with anything to fix the problem; I started doing
Flying Crane Qi Gong and no pain. I then purchased
the Recharging Qigong program and like magic I
have more money, more friends more energy and I am
happier and healthier.”

Thank you, Thank you a million times.

Working With Good And Bad Energy

Working With Good And Bad Energy

I was talking to a woman with a strong accent the
other day. I asked her where she was from, and she
said,Russia. We chatted for a while, and she
was telling me why she left her country. It was a
horrible, cold, dirty place, and all of my family,
friends, and my boss were extremely negative.
Then, eight years ago, I left Mother Russia, and I
came to start a new life in New York. I went to
school and became a medical assistant. I found a
job in the city, but after a few years, I noticed
that the people around me were very dark and
negative, and they were stupid as well. Just three
years ago, I moved to Miami and got a job in a
medical office working with a doctor who always
complained about not having enough money or
patients. He was more negative than anyone that I
have ever met. His practice only saw patients with
chronic pain. Day after day, people came in who
were addicted to pain pills, and had hard luck
stories of pain, misery, and poverty. She went on
to tell me more stories on how negative people can
be.

I was exhausted after listening to her story after
story of how she was plagued with negativity. I
knew the problem was not Russia, New York, or
Miami. The problem was within her and what and
whom she invested her time and energy in. When we
are negative, we attract negative people and
negative energy. Its the same when we are
positive, we attract a positive energy. Whatever
you think about the most is what you will attract.
If you decide its a bad day, it is. On the other
hand, if you decide it’s a good day, it is a good
day. We are the masters of our destiny, for the
better or the worse. Negativity doesn’t follow us
around so do good energy. We just pull it in like
a big vacuum. If you want something different,
better, happier, wealthier, or healthier, that’s
what you need to focus on. And before you know it,
you will have it.

Working with the Good and Bad

GOOD or Bad?

If you are having problems breaking old patterns,
look no further. There is an ancient Chinese
formula hidden in the teachings of

formula that will get you clear within all aspects
of your life, where you want to go, and how to get
there. This program will definitely help. Order

Changing Your Destiny

Destiny Changing Your Destiny

I was reading the blog that the Dalai Lama group
put up the other day. They were referring to our
destiny, and here’s what they said, “Good Karma
explains and almost defines your destiny. In
Tibetan traditions, like all other faiths, the
‘diviner’ or the ‘medium’ can look into your
future, assess the situation of your karma, and
recommend you certain remedial actions by way of
traditional rituals. These ‘rituals’ do not change
your karma of the past or present. However, by
performing a divination, the latent positive
energy of good karma is awakened which can help
your fortune to be better.”

When performing a divination, an individual or a
high Lama (the priest or holy person) is relying
on the power of a particular deity by whom he has
been blessed by his own good karma and religious
practice. Divination and forecasting of the future
have been practiced for thousands of years. People
have always desired to know what the future has in
store for them. They hunger for just a glimpse
into the future and to predict upcoming events.
The word “divination” comes from the Latin,
“divinare”, meaning “to foresee” or “to be
inspired by God.” To practice divination is to
uncover hidden knowledge by supernatural means. In
the Tibetan Buddhist system of divination, the
deity, images, is called upon. He represents
the transcendent wisdom aspect of the enlightened
mind. Then, the question is asked before casting
the Mo. The Tibetan people consult Mo when making
important decisions about health, work, or travel.
The Mo employs dice, and there are books written
by various lamas on interpretations for the
casting of dice. The answers given by the Mo are
regarded as coming from Manjushri, the Bodhisattva
of wisdom.

Many years ago, I consulted the Mo myself to ask
about my practice of Qi Gong and if I should
continue sharing the healing work on others. The
answer was strong, “Keep on practicing.” Not in
those words, but that’s why I teach, train, and
practice every day. A regular practice will keep
you young, happy, and successful.

I had a patient come in the office today, and I
asked her if she did any internal exercises or
exercise at all. Sadly enough, she said, “NO! I am
filled with overwhelming sadness and I am stuck in
what feels like deep, black, sticky mud.” I told
her this, “We are going to change that right now.”
And I taught her the Medical Qi Gong prescriptive
exercise to clear all the sadness and grief out of
her lungs. The next day, I received a call from
her. She was overjoyed with laughter in her voice
and, not once but a half dozen times she thanked
me over and over.

If you want to clear and change your life
mentally, physically, emotionally, and
spiritually, get a copy of the Recharging Qi Gong
program

Transform Disease Into Power and Vitality

Unity Church on the Bay  Transform Disease Into Power and  Vitality

I was at the Unity Church on the Bay at exactly
12:45 on Sunday afternoon to teach a group of
people the Recharging Qi Gong program. They gave
me a 4-hour slot to teach Transform Disease Into Power and Vitality

with only with a ½ hour break.
Those were the shortest 4 hours I have ever spent.
Although the Recharging Qi Gong program only
consists of 36 exercises, each and every one them
has 4 or 5 parts to it. There is the breathing,
the visualization, the sound, the color, and the
actual movement. You may be asking yourself why
there are so many parts to these exercises. Let me
tell you. In order to make real changes in your
body and mind, it’s necessary to hit as many of
our senses as possible at the same time. In the
Recharging Qi Gong program, we activate visual,
auditory, and kinesthetic senses in our brain and
body as well as our mind. When all of these senses
are activated, the exercises go deep into the
body, mind, and spirit to make profound changes
that will stick around for a lifetime.

The roots of the Recharging Qi Gong program are
from many different disciplines like,
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), creative
visualization, Hinduism (yoga), Daoism (Medical Qi
Gong), and Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayan known as the
Diamond Path). These exercises will eliminate the
root cause of aging and turn back your biological
clock. The common threads between these
disciplines are the concept of a vital Life Force
Energy or Qi. It was the discovery of Qi and being
able to actually feel it coursing through my body
that changed me forever.

Learning these exercises didn’t come easy. I had
to travel the earth studying with the world’s
greatest masters on three continents to learn the
secrets of Qi from all the great schools of Tibet,
China, and India. My field of medicine, Medical Qi
Gong, recognizes that Body, Mind, and Spirit are
all connected and driven by Qi energy. When the
body is stressed or injured, the flow of energy is
obstructed, and there is a “Dis- Ease” in body and
mind. If the flow is not opened back up, disease,Unity

illness, and premature aging will all begin to set
in. The flow of Qi can be seen and measured by the
quality of the life we live.

When we are open to the flow of Qi, we are vital,
virile, and vibrant. When the flow of Qi is
limited, your life becomes limited. You become
stressed out, burnt out, and bummed out. For many,
the flow of Qi has been choked to a trickle of
energy, or it flows like slow-moving muddy water.
The good news is that no matter what:
• your age
• your lifestyle
• kind of shape you are currently in
• you’ve been told in the past
• and how you’ve been injured or what ailments you
have
…you can always increase the flow of Qi and
become stronger. Those individuals that were in
the class this weekend definitely increased the
flow of Qi until it courses through them like a
mighty river.

The idea of a Life Force Energy or Qi is virtually
ignored in the traditional Western medical
culture. Medical Qi Gong recognizes that the body,
mind, spirit, and emotions are all connected and
driven by the same force of Life Energy. In
Recharging Qi Gong program, we use movements,
sensation, breathing, and visualization to
increase and guide the flow of essential Qi. It
took me months on end to create a program that
would be easy to learn, and yet, give you all the
benefits of being in class with me. You can get
the entire program which includes the book, the
practice DVD, and the teaching DVD as well as 5
CDs that will give you enough information to
ingest for months and months. I highly suggest
that you get started doing this program and make
it a part of your habit buddy today.

How to Tell One’s Future

Wednesday, May 27th, 2015
Share

You can tell anyone’s future just by seeing what
kind of people they hang out with. If your friends
are professionals, most likely, you are a
professional yourself. Doctors hang with doctors,
lawyers with lawyers, and it’s the same with
thieves and conmen. “Birds of the same feather
flock together.” If you have the same morals as
your neighbor or co- worker, you would have the
tendency to spend more time with them. I am sure
you have heard the expression, “Hanging out with
the wrong crowd”. Well, your parents knew what
they were saying when they told you that.

If you want to reach your highest potential, it is
critical that you are very choosy about who you
hang out with. Whoever you spend the most time
with will make the largest impact on how you build
your life and your world. It’s amazing how much
you can tell what a person is like once you meet
their friends. Take an inventory of who you spend
the most time with. Who are those people you
invest your life energy with? This will tell you a
lot about how you see the world and what you
value. If you weren’t compatible with these
people, you wouldn’t be hanging out together.

We don’t choose our families. We are born into a
family that we may have chosen on a higher plane,
or maybe, families are people put together to work
out past karma. Who knows? We get to choose our
tribes, we choose friends, and even our husbands
and wives are chosen. Choose well for it will make
or break your life. We have the power to decide
how much time and psychic energy we invest in each
other and the relationships we are involved in.
Those relationships will determine whether we’re
reaching our highest potential, or if we’ll spend
our lives stagnant, resigned to a life where we
never reach that full potential.

Work to build new relationships with people that
get who you are, what you are all about, and what
you’re committed to accomplish in life. When you
do this, things will work out miraculously. Start
hanging out with the people who believe in you
truly, support you, and share your vision. You may
be asking yourself, “How will I know I am hanging
out with the right group?” These are the signs
that you are with the right crowd:

1. Your friends and family support you in what you
are doing.
2. The changes you want to make are supported, and
you are trusted.
3. When you share your vision with others, they
do all they can to support you.
4. Your friends and family have constructive
suggestions that move you along on your vision.
5. People in your closest circles admire you for
what you do. You have similar ideas and believe.
6. You feel “much more than miraculous and in
flow” when you are around the people closest to
you.

Big life changes can be easy to accomplish when
you have support. You just need to start hanging
out with the right crowd — people who love the
things you love and want to see you reach your
highest potential.

I have found that the people who meditate and
practice Qi Gong regularly can be counted on and
will support you. Start practicing and improve
your life from the inside out. Start practicing
the Recharging Qi Gong exercises today, and be
with the best crowd ever. Check it out

Don’t Be a Bean Sprout in Your Practice

Don’t Be a Bean Sprout in Your Practice…

Last week, I visited family and friends who all
have health issues of one kind or another. They
have been eating the typical Western diet most of
their life – meat, potatoes, and eggs for
breakfast with a few cups of Java; for lunch, a
sandwich with luncheon meat, a soda to wash it
down, and a piece of pie to satisfy their sweet
tooth; for dinner, meat and potatoes again, and a
few beers or glasses of wine, and dessert. Oh, I
forgot snacks…things like hotdogs, candy bars,
cookies, soda, chips, and I could go on and on.
I guess you get my drift.

This isn’t unusual in the typical American diet
and, for the most part, this is how people have
eaten most of their lives. Or at least they used
to. 20, 30 or 40 years later, and the problems are
creeping up, and the symptoms are starting to
appear: heartburn, difficulty of swallowing, gas,
bloating, stomach pain, skin full of brown spots,
and the fear of all women, wrinkles. Father Time
is starting to show his ugly face on your body.

Generally, people lost the true value of food as
medicine and “live to eat”. The true value of food
is to nourish the body and mind. The theme should
be “eat to live”. Looking at the 5-element chart,
it shows us how the internal organs are laid out
energetically. The Fire element that hosts the
heart and small intestine is on the top, balanced
out by the Water element at the bottom which hosts
the kidneys and the urinary bladder. On the left
side, they show the Wood element that hosts the
liver and gallbladder. On the right side, we have
the Metal element which hosts the lungs and large
intestine. At the center lies the Earth element
that hosts our spleen and stomach. If there is a
problem with the Earth element, there is a problem
with the balance of the entire body. Our center is
Earth, it feeds all the other organs. That’s why,
whenever you go into a person’s home in China, you
are always offered food to nourish your Earth
element and to keep you rooted and grounded.

When we practice Qi Gong, you learn to ground your
energy or Qi, and to root yourself connecting to
the Earth element. The more you can ground your
energy, the easier it is to go higher in your
meditation. If you are not grounded, you may still
go up but, with no root system established, it is
easy to fall over. Somewhat like a sprout, it
grows very quickly but, with a very small root
system, it will fall over as quickly as it went
up. I know students who have studied for years but
neglected to establish a strong rooting system
and, after a while, they stop practicing and lose
their Qi. Why? Because they aren’t rooted in their
practice.

The more you can ground and root, the higher you
can go. Don’t be a bean sprout. Learn how to stay
grounded using the Recharging Qi Gong Program

The Transformation

The Transformation…

I was in my hometown last week, “Motown.” One of
my old friends still lives in Detroit, about an
hour from where I was staying. I promised I’ll
drive downtown to see him. So, early Saturday
morning, right after my workout, I headed
downtown. When I got there, my buddy was ready and
raring to go. We took off to see the sites.
Detroit is going through revitalization, and the
hipsters are moving in. Wikipedia describes, “The hipster
subculture typically consists of multi-ethnicIMG_1554
millenials living in urban areas. The subculture
has been described as a mutating, trans-Atlantic
melting pot of styles, tastes and behavior, and is
broadly associated with indie and alternative
music, a varied non-mainstream fashion sensibility
(including vintage and thrift store-bought
clothes), generally progressive political views,
organic and artisanal foods, and alternative
lifestyles.” So, once again, Detroit is starting
to make a comeback. We visited some of the new old
areas like Corktown, located just west of downtown
Detroit, and is the oldest extant neighborhood in
Detroit, Michigan, and a place called the
“Heidelberg Project” www.heidelberg.org. The
artist, Tyree Guyton, took a stand against the
decay, crime, and apathy in the neighborhood where
he was raised. Using objects that you and I would
declare junk, he created a festival of color and
deep meaning described as “Ghetto Guggenheim”. As
luck would have it, I ran into the artist when I
was there. Tyree told me that he created his art
in the ghetto using vacant lots and abandoned
houses as his canvas to show that art can and will
transform even the worst situations. “A community
can re-develop and sustain itself from the inside
out.”

It is exactly the same with your health –
mentally, physically, and spiritually. The
transformation comes from the inside and moves out
into your work, your family, and friends, into the
community, and the world. How do we make the
transformation? Start by practicing every day. You
may be asking what should I start with? The
quickest and easiest way to transform yourself is
to change your physiology. I have found that the
internal exercises support the transformation
better than any other system. I have been able to
duck the aging process by 10, 15, and maybe, even
