The New Moon in Leo; was on Sunday August 8th, and it was a Powerful one! 
I hosted a Meditation Class via Zoom; to celebrate this powerful shift with a Fire Pujas, in my backyard.
A Puji is a type of Offering; involving Smoke Offering, Smell Offering & Fire Offerings.
It is one of the most powerful self care practices. Looking into the Fire clears Stress and Negativity. In turn, this frees up space for Creativity and Abundance! Combined with Mantras and Sounds and the results are truly Amazing!
Puji Fires generate Shakti, Divine Power. Through Fire Ceremonies, we receive Divine Power and Manifest what is needed for ourselves and The World.
The major principle of a Fire Pujas is for Offering. Traditionally the sangdze or offering substance, consists of a mixture of “the three whites” and “the three sweets” (flour, butter, yogurt, sugar, molasses, and honey) as well as incense, 5 colored cloth, medicine, alcohol, and precious stones or jewels. You put the food and other specifics into the fire until it is totally consumed.
There are three different kinds of Puji.
* The Sang Puji is The Offering of Smoke.
* The Sur Puji is The Offering of Smell.
* The Jinsek Puji is The offering of The Flames. Burning this type of Fire is usually the one I prefer; and have the most experience with.
The Fire Puji that we did last weekend, was to Harmonize the Ten Directions. The distinguished guests included all Sentient Beings, particularly local Deities and Elemental Spirits; to bring in more Sweetness into our Lives.
Here is a gist of one of my favorite Hindu stories: Long ago this particular King had to decide whether to let outsiders settle in his Kingdom. After much pondering, the King emerged from his chambers and gave each of the uninvited guests a glass of milk.
The guest looked at each other and passed on the milk offering, but not before sweetening the milk with honey; to which they returned to the King.
The King immediately made a proclamation!
“Whomever brings Sweetness into my Kingdom is always Welcome!
So the Fire Puji is for everyone who can receive what’s being Offered!
