Cysts & Tumors.

One of the most common issue I see in the Clinic is Cyst and Tumors.

A cyst that develops into a soft or hard lump beneath the skin indicates disease associated with one or several channels.  A hard cyst is considered Yang and is usually from blood stagnation, while a soft cyst is more Yin in nature, and is from phlegm stagnation.

Blood stagnation happens when the blood is not flowing smoothly.

It can happen from an impact, like a hit or a fall. Blood can also be too hot and cause pain in the area. It could be from blood stasis and be affected by a blockage of smooth flow of Qi to the liver.

The Yin or soft Cyst usually comes from a phlegm formation or from a spleen deficiency, but it’s not limited to the weakness of the Spleen. It could also occur in the lungs or the excess fluid in the kidneys.

A Yin tumor can change and grow or shrink and is caused from stress, as well as damage to the lungs. The tumor will change in size depending on the patient’s emotions.

In Medical Qi Gong we purge the stagnation and transform the phlegm; as we work on the meridian where the blockage is located. There are also sound vibrations that can help resolve a tumor and I give many of my patients healing sounds as homework, to assist in resolving such problems. There are also Qi Gong prescriptive exercises given to assist in the healing process.

A Medical Qi Gong treatment for a tumor consists of purging the liver, removing the stagnation and tonifying the patient’s blood.

Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese Practice, and in China is considered to be one of the four main branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), along with Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Massage. As with the other “Branches,” Healing occurs through Balancing Qi or Electromagnetic Energy, which surrounds and pervades all living creatures.

Disruptions in the Electromagnetic Energy of the body occur throughout our lifetime as a result of Poor Diet, Sedentary Lifestyle, Injuries, Surgery, Suppression of Emotions and Aging.

The goal of Qi Gong is to correct these bio-energetic imbalances and blockages. This enables the body to strengthen and regulate the internal organs, the nervous system and the immune system, relieve pain, regulate hormones, strengthen and release deep-seated emotions and stress.

Medical Qi Gong regulate Qi and is a highly effective Health Care Practice. Many health care professionals recommend Qi Gong as an important practice to complement their Alternative Medicine.
