This week a dear friend of mine; Oswaldo Cisneros, passed away.
When I lived in Venezuela; we became friends. He invited me to his estate for dinner one evening.
While sitting at the dinner table, his Butler poured him a glass of water. Oswaldo stopped his meal, turned around and said, “I thank you very much!”
I have been to homes of the Uber rich and most, not all; have no appreciation for their staff. Just a sense of entitlement.
My friend took the time to be appreciative and polite to all his staff. It was very impressive!
I asked him why he made such an effort to be kind. He said, “My Butler could have put poison or spit in my water, but I know he has my back, and I appreciate him for being here for me.
This changed my view; that this friend of mine who was very wealthy, took the time to be kind to his staff.
Sometimes a person comes into your life and say or do something; and it impact your life forever!
My friend was a very special and humble man that Loved Life, Loved his work and Loved his Family, Even More!
Though that moment was brief and simple, it stayed with my forever and shaped me into a better person!
Now that the election has come to an end, one Side is cheering, while the other is angry, hurt and feels cheated. Let’s be more Understanding, Kind and Loving to our fellow man. We have to share the Planet and We Live in the UNITED States of America, Not The Divided States! I Love you ALL!
