Goal Setting in 2019

At last the Thanksgiving feat is over, the Christmas shopping is behind us and the drinking and partying has stopped… at least for a moment.

It’s time to recover, relax and reflect on last year and what we plan for 2019. New Year’s Day is upon us.

It’s an opportunity for self- cultivation, to get on with our projects, heal our relationships, lose that big belly and restart your training again.

New Year’s Day is the major goal-setting day for most westerners. All of us say we’re going to move forward with our lives: eat healthier, exercise more, improve our relationships and make more money.

And the list goes on and on and on. But, how will you stick to your goals?

Here are some valuable secrets to stay on your program:

  1. Make a chart and check off your daily goals as you complete them.
  2. Only set goals for 30 days out (one step at a time).
  3. Start your training as soon as you wake up.
  4. Have your last meal by 8 pm.
  5. Take a day off once a week to reset and recheck your goals.
  6. Tell at least 3 people about your goals and check in with them weekly to stay on track.

One of the secrets to success is having a coach and a support group to keep you on target.
