Where Do You Get Your Strength From? I can Help!

Many people believe that those who are successful, are that way because of a strong and determined will.

However Strong Will and determination, can only get you so far! Most of the time, the Will quickly weakens;
and you end up snapping back to where you were before.

You return back to old habits, because it’s in your comfort zone.

Our bodies holds on to Muscle Memory. For instance, if you haven’t ridden a bike in years, as soon as you get on one, your body knows exactly what to do.

This is not to say that Will Power is never necessary, or that you were given it for no reason whatsoever.

Your Will serves a function – just not as important a function, as it’s counterpart, which is usually ignored.

Long ago the truth was established: “In a battle between Will Power and Imagination, Imagination wins every time.”

Walk across a plank that is raised a foot off the ground and you’ll most likely have no trouble. Raise the plank 100 feet off the ground and try again.

What do you think will happen? Most likely you’ll begin to imagine falling – and at this point the fearful image you pictured takes over and your adrenals begin to shut down! When this happens, you lose your will and your power to walk forward.

The same thing happens when people go on a diet or begin a new exercise program. At first, everything is cool. But the plank is only a foot off the ground.

Wait until it moves up about 20 feet and you begin picturing all the negative images that drove you to gain weight in the first place.

Well, what to do?

ou have to keep on moving forward?

I say move forward, but  HOW?

If your body shuts down through fear – so does your Will, the FEAR is what keeps us stuck.

The only way out, is using the part of your mind that you’ve either ignored or used in a negative manner.

Now you’ve got to corral your imagination and put it to work for you in a positive way. You need to picture effortlessly and easily moving forward. See and feel yourself having others congratulate you on your success. Get a coach and a good support system, to keep you going in the right direction.
 
Many of us try to do it on our own, but a coach is more important than you can imagine. Every good athlete has a coach. Anyone going for their doctor’s degree has a coach. We all need someone to help us get over the hurdles in life; no matter if you are a boxer, a swimmer or just have health concerns.

Many times you just need a few simple changes, and these lead to more simple changes, and then some
more, and then some more – and the next thing you and everyone else know – you are a different person!
