Hold on to your Umbrella

Hold on to your Umbrella

It’s been raining everyday for the last 2 weeks in
Florida
This subtropical storm “Alberto” has made its way
north through the Gulf of Mexico, and we have the
sloppiest, wet conditions I’ve seen in a long
time. Those Memorial Day Bar-B-Q’s were rained
out.
The Memorial Day  holiday is usually considered the beginning
of summer but officially summer doesn’t start
until June 21st.
The timing of the solstice when the Sun reaches
its northernmost point from the equator the word
solstice comes from the Latin solstitium, from sol
(sun) and stitium (to stop), reflecting the fact
that the Sun appears to stop at this time (and
again at the winter solstice).
You will notice that the Sun is higher in the sky
throughout the day, and its rays strike Earth at a
more direct angle, causing the efficient warming
we call summer. The Farmers Almanac predicts a lot
of rain in Florida this summer and hotter than
normal, with the hottest periods in early June,
early July, and early to mid-August. As for the
Rainfall it’s way above normal.
This should be a wet and wild summer.
Hear is what I have been doing to avoid the heat
and the heavy rains.
• Get up early and out of the house before
sunrise, it’s cooler and the rains haven’t started
as yet.
• Make sure I have windbreakers and umbrella in
the house and car
With the right equipment a walk in the rain is fun
The ozone is the strongest in a lighting storm
and as long as you are safe you can cultivate a
lot of energy
Try getting up before the crack
of dawn. It’s the best time to build Qi
the planet is quite and your morning
meditation will be the strongest. I start my
Morning meditation hours before the sun comes up
and its even stronger when its storming.
