Tips for Swelling & Bags Under Eyes.

Do you have Swelling or Bags under your Eyes?

It happens to us now and then, but don’t worry there are simple cures that you can do at home for this.

There are many reasons one get’s puffy eyes. It could be air pollution, eating the wrong foods, crying, smoke or even Allergies can puff you up.

Puffy eyes are a result of a loss of the supporting fatty skin layer beneath the eyes. This causes the skin to lose it’s elasticity and droop downwards. The thin sagging skin under the eyes allows the accumulation of fluid and gives your eyes a puffy and swollen appearance.

Here are some Tips to reduce Swelling and Minimize Bags:

1. Take a tea bag and dunk in hot water for just 1 minute and then put in the refrigerator. You can put that over  your eyes for 5 minutes a day and it really works.

 2. Wet a clean wash cloth with cool water. While sitting up, apply the damp washcloth to the skin under and around your eyes for a few minutes using mild pressure.
2. Drink fewer fluids before sleep and reduce your intake of salt and avoid MSG in all foods.

3. Stop smoking!  No matter if it’s a joint, a cigarette, cigar, or vamping!  Quit and you’ll look better!

4. Get enough sleep. 7 to 9 hours of sleep will leave you refreshed and your bags will start to disappear.

5. You can go under the knife as there are medical and surgical treatments that you can do, if you’re concerned about the appearance of under-eye swelling.
