The Festival Of Lights!

We are celebrating The Festival of Lights, and I am Lit Up with a smile on my face, because it’s also my Birthday weekend!

I took a stroll on the Beach this morning, Meditated, Trained; then jumped into the ocean, for some cool morning revitalization.

The ocean is a great source of Energy! Every day I take a plunge to charge up my Body, Mind & Spirit, before I get to the Clinic.

With my Healing Skills; I help people get Balance, and recover from their ills, chills; and things that keep them stuck.

Following my Birthday; the next week we are Blessed to Celebrate Hanukkah, then Christmas and the New Year!

Many of us are so glad that 2020 is almost a memory, and a Fresh New Year is upon us.

My friends and patients asked me what this Jewish Holiday all about and if it is to compete with Christmas.

Hanukkah is not The Jewish Christmas!

It’s been celebrated for more than 2,000 years now. Hanukkah commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, after a successful revolt of the Jewish people; led by Judah Maccabee

The reason the holiday is celebrated for eight days, stems from what is told in the one of the important Holy Books.

When it came time for the rededication of the Second Temple, only one day’s worth of pure oil was found to use in the Temple —which was meant to burn all night every night—but miraculously the oil burned for eight days.

This gave enough time to collect a fresh supply of oil. The belief is that a Miracle from God had occurred, so it was cause to celebrate for a full eight days!

Today, Hanukkah is often thought of as the Jewish counterpart to Christmas, but that’s not true.

Hanukkah traditions include, lighting the candles on a nine-branched Menorah called a Hanukkiah and saying the Blessings, making and eating potato latkes (pancakes) and eating jelly doughnuts, both cooked in oil. This sure isn’t a health food diet.

Whatever you and your family celebrate, I wish you health, Wealth & Happiness!
