La Shana Tovah!

Today is Rosh Hashanah the Jewish New Year, that literally means the Head of the Year! It started on Sunday night September 29th at night fall. This is one of two; of the most important Holiday on the Jewish calendar! The Holiday ends on sunset October 1st. You may be asking yourself; What is Rosh Hashanah? First it marks the start of the Jewish New Year. Sometimes it’s called the Feast of the Trumpets, it’s the Celebration of Creation. Some Rabbis call it the Birthday of the World! The time when man made the Covenant with God and he created Adam and Eve. Rosh Hashanah leads up to the highest Holiday Yom Kippur. This is a day of Repentance and Reflection and a day of Atonement. It’s considered to be the Holiest day of the year; traditionally the blood of an animal was sacrificed

to remove any defilement that one might have according to the tradition. The name of the righteous are written in the Book of Life and the name of the Wicked are written in the Book of the Dead!  At this time of the year people fast to repent from there sins and ill will.

I am not a strict follower of these traditions, but at this time of the year I do a Detox, which involves hours of Meditation and Prayer, Internal Exercises like Qi Gong and Yoga and for 12 days I do a Cleanse, No Dairy, No Grains, No Sugar, No meat, A gallon of water, as well as a Homeopathic Detox Program, One specifically for Muscle and Joint Pain and to get rid of Anxiety, Grief and to return the body back to Homeostasis. Another to get rid of Parasites, I may have picked up on my travels. The third specifically for Stress and the other to clear the Kidneys, Liver and Intestines. This is a complete Full Body, Mind and Spirit Cleansing and it’s in alignment with the Changing of the Season as well as the Jewish New Year. My mind is sharper, I feel great and I’ve lost 10 pounds already!

Have a Wonderful and Sweet Holiday. La Shana Tova!
