It’s Cleansing and Clearing Time!

This is your time to “Harvest” all you can before we enter into Fall. It was just in June when the Summer Solstice began and we had 3 months to enjoy Summer and work on ourselves. Now is the time to Reap those benefits and Rewards of all you have achieved since then. Take the time to look back at what you did over the last three months and acknowledge your highs and also your failures.

This Harvest Moon was in Pisces and what a Big Beautiful one it was! It’s the last Full Moon before the Autumnal Equinox Fall. This is the time for Cleansing and Cleaning out those things that you no longer need or want in your life. It could be old clothing, books, old papers or a Lifestyle Pattern that you have been doing, that you want to root out of your life for good!

I always Fast and Detox around the changing of the Seasons to Reset my Digestive System and Reset my body and Mind for the next 3 months. If there is something you no longer wish to take with you into the new season, this is the perfect time to release it and let it go.

When we believe we ‘know it all,’ we get rigid and often times stuck, and we stop ourselves from learning and being open to change. I believe the changes in the season are special and they should be celebrated. Fall is a good time to initiate change in your Exercise, Diet and your Outlook on life.

My go to foods around this time of year are lots of Roasted and Steamed Veggies, Legumes, as well as Hearty Soups. If you are a meat eater try Bone Broth, known as a Superfood, it’s rich in Health Benefits, full of Vitamins and Minerals, it can boost your Immune System and Strengthen the Kidneys as well as your Bones, Hair, Nails and improve your Complexion!

This is my Recipe for the Bone Broth:

I suggest getting Organic Grass Fed Animal Bones; you can get them at Whole Foods or any reputable Organic Market or Butcher. If they are frozen let them thaw, then place the bones in a bowl and add a Quarter Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and water and let it sit for 20 minutes. Next place the bones in the oven on Broil for 15 minutes then put in a soup pot, add 1 gallon Distilled Water, 1 Onion, 2 Carrots chopped, 2 Stalks of Celery, 1 Bunch of Parsley 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of Peppercorns, Herbs and Spices to taste plus 2 Cloves of Garlic. I usually use a crock pot and set it for six hours then let it continue to cook all night, the longer the better!

I wish you the Best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness!
