It’s a Great Day In History!

Small groups of armed protesters gathered in many States across the country, officials braced for the possibility of violence, leading up to Inauguration Day. The USA is on high alert.

In Washington the streets, heavy security everywhere

Military vehicles and police barricades lined the streets, and officials braced for pro-Trump protests that they feared could lead to violence.

In Michigan; where I was brought up, government officials and law enforcement prepared for the possibility of significant violence ahead of the inauguration, and this is happening in many states.

We are been attacked, and it has caused a split in the nation. What a strange environment for the USA to be in.

On the other hand we just celebrated Martin Luther King’s Day, a man who spent his life trying to bring Unity to our nation.

In 1963 there was a protest but……

It was not violent.

It was not chaotic.

It did not result in deaths or injuries.

It did not break the law.

It did not destroy property.

It did not intimidate or terrorize.

It did not involve people wearing horned hats and “Camp Auschwitz” shirts, and setting up gallows to hang members of Congress.

We have witnessed two very charismatic leaders, but with way different agendas. One for peace and the other for control, which turned to chaos.

“Rev. King’s career was done in the fulfillment of moral ideals.

On the other hand, Donald Trump’s, brought our country to an embarrassing moment in history.

Yes 45 did some good stuff, and should be acknowledged for it; but the way the USA has been divided over black and white, Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives is deplorable!

We are one nation under God and we stand for Freedom!

Let’s get it together! As far as white supremacy – give it a break! We all bleed the same red color, it’s all pink on the inside and  humans civilization all started in African.

Even Jesus was dark and Jewish.

Some might find the mere mention of King and Trump in the same sentence, revolting. What could the uplifting, transcendent moment of King’s “I Have a Dream,” possibly have in common with Trump’s, “Fight Like Hell!”

I never write on political stuff, but this needs to be addressed and expressed from all of us, and make our country a place of Honor, Peace and Love!

I wish you the Best in your Health, Wealth & Happiness!
