A few month ago I purchased a battery operated Weed Wacker at Lowe’s Hardware Store.
It was much lighter than the old gas ones, didn’t make much noise; and was very efficient!
So, I was cleaning up my yard and the darn thing fell apart!
Heated and annoyed, I went on Amazon to try and find the replacement parts, because Amazon has everything – plus the kitchen sink right?
Low and behold they didn’t carry parts for this fancy thing. I drove to the Hardware Store where I got it from and they said the same thing. No parts for ‘The Wacky Wacker!’ They said, “We only Sell Em We don’t Fix Em.”
They suggested that I take it somewhere to get it fixed, but where? Not a clue was had!
Just Great.
Well my neighbor is a Landscaper, so I took it over to his place. He didn’t know how to fix it either. What a run around!
For two weeks I got shoved from Customer Service, to the Manufacture and the Hardware Store.
Very frustrating. It’s seems like people now a days in these positions don’t take the time, or care about helping you. It’s just a paycheck and a J.O.B. for most.
I went to (3) Three different stores to try and solve the problem, but they all said the same thing.
“We are sorry we can’t help you.”
Customer Service is one of the most important thing when doing business.
Whether you are buying something, seeing a doctor or an attorney; you are counting on them to fix a problem with everything in their ability, or at least try.
My disappointment was real, but I learnt a good lesson! I became even more aware of the importance of Excellent Customer Service and Patient Care at my Office.
We Follow Up with all of our patients; and make sure that they are well taken care of, from they walk in the door until they exit. No matter their budget we try to help everyone.
From a Sore Back or A Life Threatening Illness, or even just Preventative Care or Relaxation. If I can’t help, I refer them to someone who can.
It’s unfortunate that Alternative Medicine is so pricey and not covered by most insurances, that is what you have to pay for custom care.
