How To Protect Yourself Against A Virus.

How to Protect yourself against a Virus.

Schools and Hospitals across the U.S. have stepped up preparations for this potentially pandemic Virus called Corona and people are in panic mode!

What are you doing to keep yourself, and your family in good health? I have received so many calls from people asking how they can stay healthy naturally.

According to Chinese Medicine;

Coronavirus can be treated with Acupuncture Herbs and Cupping, as well as Ozone and Homeopathic Medicine. What’s most important right now is keeping your Immune System strong and healthy. As long as your Immune System is resilient you will be okay; at worst you may get the flu for a few days and then you’ll be just fine.

The Coronavirus is a large family of viruses that infects the Upper Respiratory System to cause a Common Cold – to more severe diseases.

At this time the World Health Organization describes the symptoms as follows:
It depends on the virus, but common signs include Respiratory Symptoms, Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, and Breathing Difficulties.

In more severe cases, infection can cause Pneumonia, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, Kidney Failure and even DEATH!

Traditional Chinese Medicine does not classify diseases according to their viral strain. Rather, TCM classifies diseases according to the accompanying signs, symptoms, and the surrounding pathology (development of the disease).

For example: high fever, chills, malaise, dry cough, headache, muscle aches and difficulty breathing. The fever can run at 100.4°F or much higher. About 10 percent to 20 percent of patients suffer from diarrhea. There is a possibility that after a few days, patients may develop a dry cough.

I recommend Chinese Herbal Medicine; for instance; anti-viral/anti-bacterial herbs that clears upper respiratory tract heat, for people that are experiencing digestive disorders, or modify the prescription with herbs that dries up dampness; to address the diarrhea. Onset of Pneumonia indicates that the disease is in a later stage and deeper within the body. The general nature of the disorder is fundamentally different and required different herbs that clears heat from deeper regions of the body.

Also recommend: Homeopathic Medicine, Ozone Therapy with Acupuncture for better control of Fever, quicker clearance of chest infection and immunological bolstering.

The best route is Prevention! According to a clinical trial carried out during the outbreak; the recovery was best in patients that received traditional Chinese Medicine Therapies; integrated with modern medical treatment.

An Acupuncture treatment would be developed accordingly to facilitate the body’s immune response to expel the pathogen (coronavirus) depending on what stage and location of the infection. Additionally, we will formulate a herbal remedy and homeopathic remedy that specifically activates and balances certain bodily functions such as sweating, which can release the lymphatic system and clear out pathogens.

In regards to the actual Wuhan coronavirus, I cannot say that I can cure it. So far, there isn’t a known cure for 2020 Wuhan coronavirus in China nor anywhere else in the world. However, for building immunity and aiding in some of the symptoms, there are methods that alternative medicine utilizes.

If you were to come in to the office solely for PREVENTATIVE reasons, we would develop a treatment plan that enhances your current state of health by using points and administering Ozone or Homeopathies, as well as herbs that do the following:

    1. Elevate Immune System
    2. Strengthen Digestion
    3. Strengthen Breathing
    4. Maintain Strength of mind and Clear Toxins (as stress and toxins like alcohol is known to weaken immunity)

What you can do at home is to Maintain basic hygiene, cleanliness, and use the  CDC’s prevention protocol (wash hands, take showers, don’t share food with others, wear face mask, etc.)
