What To Do When You Pull A Muscle.

Yesterday I stopped by an old friend’s home to say hello and see how she was doing, on lockdown. It ended up being another house call for Dr. Qi Gong!
Boy was she glad to see me!

Doc, “Can you help me? I am hurting so bad and I don’t want to go to any doctor’s office at this time!”

She is no spring chicken, but she does try to take care of herself. She eats right and exercises daily, to keep herself young, but it seems her program has been doing more harm than good, because of the way she has been misusing her body.
In her morning workouts, she neglects to warm up and as a result, pulled major muscles in her back, hips and legs.

It was obvious that she was in a lot of pain and could barely move at all.  I hear this on a regular basis, “I was a little short on time so I decided to rush through my workout!”
Bad move for anyone doing a workout, but especially bad for anyone who is up in  years. A no warm up Session could get you hurt! A bend with the medicine ball, plus a twist and Boom, she said she felt the strain instantly!

Even if you are in tip-top condition, this exercise, like most exercise without a warm-up, is just the ticket if you really want to hurt your back and limp around with a crutch.
Instead of staying fit and young, you’ll instantly look and feel at least 40 years older. I told my friend, “If you want a workout that will really keep you young it’s the Recharging Qi Gong, but you need to practice before you do any heavy lifting.” Then I explained how the exercises in Recharging Qi Gong have been keeping guys and gals young for over 4,000 years (and counting). Fact is you’re never going to hurt yourself practicing them.

After she paid me upfront for a copy of the Recharging Qi Gong program (you can get it here ->http://energymedicineflorida.com ) I fixed her back up with a few tricks I knew; and gave her some sound advice.

I’m going to give you three powerful tips to keep you out of pain!

Here goes: Consult a physician before administering.

1. Cold Packs for Injury – Buy one at the drug store and keep it in your freezer or apply one that instantly gets cold, and keep them in your gym bag. When you first get injured apply it to the area for 10 to 15 minute intervals.

2. Epson salt baths for Stiff Muscles -“ Get in a full tub of hot water, with about 2 pounds of Epson salt. Forget about a cup, it doesn’t do much! Make sure you mix the water and salt well and soak for 20 minutes to a ½ hour.  I have used salt baths to relive pain and pull stiffness out of my muscles for years.

3. Use your own Qi to Heal Yourself– Direct your breath to the pain. In The Recharging Qi Gong program Breath is used to move Qi, store Qi,and cultivate Qi. Directed Qi is the secret ingredient that will bring relief to your entire body.
Breathe deeply and fully. Fill your chest to full capacity with air. Feel your rib cage expand in the front, back and on both sides.

Inhale even more and hold the breath for a bit. Then exhale out about 1/5 of the breath, inhale again and imagine you are sending the breath to the tight or painful area. Exhale slowly and see the muscles relaxing.
You’ll feel the difference in no time. The clenched area will unlock and give you more elasticity, hence no pain.

The Recharging Qi Gong course works on all three levels at the same time Physical, Mental and Energetically. Go to http://energymedicineflorida.com
