Help For Stress and Weight Gain.

My friend Karen has been constantly complaining that over the last few months; she has been stuck in the house Eating, Eating and More Eating, with a side order of Anxiety and Depression. This has caused her to put on some excess weight!

Today I suggested that she starts a regular Exercise Program.
She looked at me like I was nuts. She swore that I had no idea what I was talking about and said, “I exercise all the time. I dance, I do Pilates , I swim and do a lot more when I have time.

That was the Clue! “When she has time.”

Consistency and Discipline makes all the difference to the Body, Mind and Spirit!

My advice to Karen was to Exercise first thing in the morning! She moaned in disagreement. “I can’t get up in the morning, and I always wake up tired.” I asked her what time she goes to sleep; and she told, between 2:30 to 3:30am. That’s the only time I can get work done, when my husband and kids are asleep.

She went on to say that she has no Energy throughout the day, even though she is in her early thirties!
This coming weekend is special for her because, it’s her husband’s birthday and also her best friend’s wedding! She said, “I can’t wait until it’s all over, this is going to be a weekend from Hell!”

Poor Karen is stressing out her system to the max and the weight gain is just a symptom of the high level stress she puts on herself.
She is going against the golden rules of having Good Health.

In Chinese Medicine, Yin is night (female) and Yang (male) is day; and she is up when she should be asleep.
When your sleeping patterns are not inflow with the natural flow of Yin and Yang, you are asking for a big upset in your Health. Mentally, Physically and Spiritually.

In my Youth, I spent hours practicing Martial Arts. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learnt was to duck! If you can duck and avoid a punch or kick coming at you at a thousand miles per hour, it’s a good thing!
If there is no contact you’re cool. Just like a car or a train, if it doesn’t hit –you’re okay.

Now when it comes to being in flow, You are either In Or Out of It! Sleep is very important for your overall health.
When you sleep too much or too little you can upset the natural balance.
Believe it or not, improper sleep can make your entire system toxic, just like food, water and the air you breathe!

For the most part, our bodies process things, then pulls it out through the Skin, Liver, Kidneys and Lower Intestinal Tract.

The problem is that when we get Blocked up, the Toxins Accumulate in our Cells, Blood, Tissues and Organs. They are stored for any length of time, then all kinds of Health Problems rear their ugly heads!

I hear complaints from patients all of the time. Things like I have a Headache, Indigestion, Fatigue, Insomnia and Weight Gain. These “Side Effects” are mostly due to the Stale Stagnant Energy in the Body. Once you get your Qi moving, the Balance will come into Flow and your sleep will improve!

When You Don’t Follow the “Golden Rules” of Health, You Start To Break Down Your System and Illness Is Bound To Follow!

When you start a Qi Gong Exercise Program; you take hold of your own health picture and your health will improve.
There are two programs that I recommend, and when you practice just ½ hour a day; those nagging symptoms will start to disappear.

Or just start slowly and you will get a gradual Flow of Fresh Energy into your System. I promise that within a few months, you will feel Younger, Healthier and Happier!

I wish you the Best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness!
