Natural body cleansing

I learned this natural cleansing system when I was
still living in the Midwest.
Every Sunday, I would go downtown to the Detroit
Institute of Art with friends to hear Rev. Oliver
Block speak. He was an older man that had
personally studied with the famous Yogi
PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA. He started the
Self-Realization Fellowship, an international
group that taught meditation, yoga, diet, prayers
and longevity practices.

Some Sundays, Rev. Black would teach us how to
keep our mind and body healthy and teach us
practices that he learned from his Master.
One of these practices was called the salt water
flush or cleanse and now and then I’ll do it to
clear toxins out of my intestine. Here is how it
is done.

The salt-water flush is most effective if you
perform it first thing in the morning on an empty
stomach.

When you wake up in morning the first thing to do
is vigorously shake the solution to fully dissolve
the salt. Make sure no granules are visible and
drink the entire contents in one sitting. You’ll
want to drink it down as fast as you can as its
very salty.

Within a short time after finishing the mixture,
you should start to feel the urge to go to the
bathroom. You may have to go more than one time,
sometimes needing to use the bathroom for several
hours before you’re fully “cleansed” and your
colon is emptied.

You will notice a change in your body temperate as
it cools you off, which is why it is suggested to
do the flush in warmer weather. Also, I would
highly recommend staying home for the morning.

INGREDIENTS:
• 2 teaspoons of sea salt
• Glass jar with a lid
• 1 liter of room temperature filtered water
• 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
Directions:

1. 1 Litter of H2O at room temperature, only use
filtered water.

2. Add your ingredients into the jar and put the
lid on. Shake it vigorously to fully dissolve the
salt. Make sure no granules are visible.

3. Drink the mixture quickly, within a few
minutes if possible (under 5 minutes is the goal).

4. Lie down on your side and massage your
stomach on one side, then repeat on the other
side. You could also do the yoga move “stomach
pump” if you know it. If you can, hold the
solution in for about 30 minutes this will help
your body fully absorb the salt.

5.Within a short time after finishing the
mixture you should start to feel a strong urge to
go to the bathroom.
6. Once you feel you can no longer hold out, go
to the bathroom. You might have to go more than
one time, sometimes needing to use the bathroom
for several hours until you’re “cleansed” and your
colon is fully emptied.
