Are you Warrior or a Wimp?

For the last 90 days I have been on an Intense Program of Internal Exercises, Diet & Meditations.


Having a Disciplined Routine; something that you do day- after- day without missing one single day sounds easy, but it takes a whole lot of self-control! It’s similar to making your New Year’s Resolutions. You’re all gung-ho for the first few weeks and then it starts to be too much work, or you forget and sleep in, or go on vacation or just flake out and quit completely.

I have a patient that has been having back problems for years.  He came in the other day in pain and I was able to give him some relief, with treatment. I wrote him a script to get an MRI and it came back with ‘not the best picture.’ The doctor suggested surgery to fuse a few vertebrae. He asked me to look at the MRI and give him my opinion. I went over what the MRI doctor said, and suggested Physical Therapy, Acupuncture and Chiropractic care as well as losing 25 pounds, changing his diet and start doing at least an hour of exercise daily. With some luck, he may be able to avoid surgery all together.

This will take hard discipline and if he quits he my as well just get the surgery!

I believe that you can work yourself out of most health problems, but you really have to put your ass on the line and push yourself to the limit!
Discipline isn’t easy!  It’s hard work and it’s not for the faint of heart , but the rewards are increasable! You are stronger in every way, your body, mind and soul will soar as an eagle and you become master of your own fate!
